WSU is proud to announce a partnership with the Boonton Avenue Grille, located at 108 Boonton Avenue in Boonton, NJ. The Boonton Ave Grille is a huge mega sports bar that also serves delicious food. The Boonton Ave Grille is located just one block away from the WSU show on 1/10. After the WSU 1/10 event, everyone from the WSU locker room will be appearing at the Boonton Grille to party & mingle with fans. The price of admission to the afterparty is free for fans and there will be special merchandise give-aways. While not everything has been announced for 1/10, as we are waiting to see what happens on 11/29, here is what's been announced for 1/10 so far: WSU Championship Match STEEL CAGE MATCH (c) Angel Orsini vs Mercedes Martinez WSU Tag Team Title Match (c) The Beatdown Betties (Or Soul Sisters depending on events of 11/29) vs Amy Lee & Awesome Kong Kara "Cherri" Slice vs Rachel Summerlyn More details to be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Angel has asked for only the best in WSU & wants to prove her dominance. Angel feels slighted by such rags as Pro Wrestling Illustrated who don't cover her accomplishments & left her off their Top 50 Womens Wrestler list. Angel is hell bent on proving she's the best womens wrestler today and has asked WSU to keep her as busy as possible. With that said, WSU has several things in the works, as the WSU Title will be defended in NY again on 11/15 for the new FCW promotion.

From 10/29/08:
After hearing about being snubbed in Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Top 50 Womens Wrestler magazine, Angel Orsini said she will take on anyone on that list. Angel also made it clear that she has wins over many of the people on that list, such as Awesome Kong, Nikki Roxx, Portia Perez, Mercedes Martinez & others.

Angel told WSUWrestling.com that she was watching WSU DVDs to scout future opponents. Angel said she recently watched "History of the WSU Title Volume 1", in preparation for the upcoming "History of the WSU Title Volume 2" DVD and realized that in August of 2007, Traci Brooks defeated Nikki Roxx in a WSU Title Number 1 Contenders match. Angel brought up how Brooks never received her match.

Despite having big wins and coming up clutch in every situation she's been in as champion, Angel said she is not satisfied and will not be known as a champion who ducks people. Even with the biggest match of her life on 1/10, against Mercedes Martinez in a STEEL CAGE, Orsini has demanded competition until then.

Angel Orsini told WSUWrestling.com that she has noticed that Traci Brooks will be in NJ for the PWL promotion on 11/29. Angel said she will be there to put her championship on the line as she plans not only proving she's the best womens wrestling champion today, but that she can destroy anyone on that PWI Top 50 list.

There is no talking sense into Angel at all. Angel is a women possessed. Not only is she arguably the greatest womens wrestling champion today, Angel is dead serious when she says she wants to be known as the greatest womens wrestler of all time. There is no challenge Angel will back down from. That could be her weakness, or perhaps her will & drive to survive and revive the womens wrestling scene is what makes her the most dominant force in WSU.

Angel Orsini has plans on doing many big things and there is no more exciting time to be a fan of WSU right now.

WSUWrestling.com has been alerted that Angel Orsini has plans to visit the Pro Wrestling Illustrated offices in Pennsylvania as she feels being slighted by PWI in their "Top 50 Women Wrestlers" magazine was a shot not only at her, but at the entire WSU promotion! Angel has told WSUWrestling.com that PWI better apologize & correct the mistake or heads will roll.

With Angel arguably being the most dominant female in not only WSU, but in all of womens wrestling today, can this be a distraction to Angel's title reign? What do you think of the snub and should've PWI ranked Angel in their magazine?

WSUWrestling.com has gotten the hot scoop that Angel Orsini, the reigning and defending WSU Champion, went to the office of Pro Wrestling Illustrated this past Friday, on 11/7! Angel took some very nasty pictures and left them on the editor's desk. WSUWrestling.com has been in contact with Pro Wrestling Illustrated and PWI told WSUWrestling.com that the pictures are just over-the-line and racy to boot! PWI has told WSUWrestling.com that they are debating printing the pictures in the magazine to ensure that Angel doesn't snap their pencil-necks! PWI have agreed to give WSUWrestling.com the photos and it might be a matter of time before PWI retracts their Top 50 Women Wrestler story, a story that has infuriated Angel since she was left off the list. More on this to come!

WSUWrestling.com has received the pictures from PWI magazine. Keep checking here to see when the pictures will be posted online. In what could be good news for both Orsini and the safety of the PWI editors, PWI has hinted to WSUWrestling.com that a retraction may be in short order! In fact, PWI has asked WSUwrestling.com for a press pass to cover Orsini's championship steel cage match with Martinez. Did Orsini scare PWI straight? We'll have more news on this pressing matter.

In a last minute news update, WSUWrestling.com has heard that PWI will be running a story on Angel Orsini. Details to come!

WSUWrestling.com has caught up with both Angel Orsini & Reyna Fire about their huge match this Saturday night at the FCW Event in Brooklyn, NY. Angel Orsini, the current WSU champion is very confident and cocky going into this match, saying that she will make short work of Reyna, as Angel heads into the biggest match of her career on 1/10 against Mercedes in a Steel Cage. Reyna Fire, knowing that she can become the spoiler of all spoilers and the biggest Cinderella story in WSU history is not guaranteeing a loss, but she's not exactly guaranteeing an Angel victory either. We will have complete details on this huge match tomorrow evening.

Melissa Coates returns to WSU on 11/29. It seems that Coates & Lynn have their eye on the tag team titles.

Dawn Marie has been in contact with WSU officials and plans on addressing the WSU crowd at least one more time before going into the latter stages of her pregnancy. When will Dawn show up again? Stay tuned to the WSU message board and WSUWrestling.com for more.

WSUWrestling.com caught up with both Jana & Latasha of the Soul Sisters where WSUWrestling.com questioned the Soul Sisters about their recent matches. Fans MUST check out the Tag Team Title Tournament DVD to see an interview where Jana & Latasha seem to be all over the place and talking over each other. The Sisters even lost their match! However, The Soul Sisters have swore that they are on the same page and will be ready for the Beatdown Betties on 1/10. Latasha, who missed time earlier this year, has been training as hard as she can. Jana has kept her regular routine and has been studying tapes of their opponents. Jana & Latasha recently were seen at the FTW Wrestling School in New York, where they were sparring with students. The Sisters looked really good and seem to have added some new moves to their arsenal. After many bumps in the road, is everything all smooth & paved out for the Sisters? Or are we heading for a collision on 11/29? While the Sisters seem to be a functioning and cohesive unit now, it may be Tag Team Championships or bust.
