Declaration of Independents

Last night I saw the greatest match between two of the top women's wrestlers in the world. The whole card was great from top to bottom and everyone worked their asses off. Even though I spent a lot of the night helping those eliminated from the 8 women tag and the Uncensored Rumble back to the locker room, here's what went down.

Battle for the right to the name Beatdown Betties: Annie Social & Roxxi Cotton beat Rick Cataldo & Ref Hansen. After the match , it seemed that Hansen "proposed" to Caltaldo. Cataldo was seen today at various thrift shops, picking out a wedding gown.

Nikki Roxx returned to a welcome back and "fuck Rocka Khan "chant. She was interupted by upstart Rain and that led to Rain vs Nikki Roxx. Rain upset the former champ .

8 Women Elimination Tag Match. Winner gets to enter the Unsensored Rumble at # 20. First women eliminated gets the # 1 spot. Jana, Kacee Carlisle, Trixie Lynn, & Lea Morrison vs Latasha, Lady Devine, Amy Lee & Missy Sampson. Brutal match that saw Lynn & Devine get into a heated brawl. Lady Devine was eliminated first, but came back and she and Amy lee beat the mortal shit out of Trixie. Lady Devine is Amy's student and you don't want to piss off Amy, which Trixie did. It came down to former partners , Jana & Latasha. Jana seemed to blow out a knee and went down hard. The crowd was in shocked silence as Jana screamed for Ref Bennet, who was just attending the show, but not working. It turned out to be a work as Jana eliminated Latasha to get the # 20 spot.

Big Van Missy basically squashed newcomer Jennifer Cruz

Tag Title Match. Brooke Carter's partner no showed, so she decided to take on the formidable duo of Haily Hatred & Jessica Havok. These two midwest girls just overpowered the smaller Brooke. Then the lights went out and WSU original, Alicia was in the ring. Alicia & Brooke retained the belts. Alicia announced she's back home and will be exclusive to WSU.

Uncensored Rumble for the # 1 Contenders spot. This was brutal as twenty women just beat the hell out of each other. Any Lee was a one woman wrecking crew as it took almost the entire roster to eliminate her. When the smoke cleared it was Rain & Nikki Roxx. Nikki got her revenge for her earlier loss by eliminating Rain.

Amy Lee came to the ring, welcomed Nikki back , then cut a vicious promo on everyone , the fans, the workers, the promoters, office ect.

The 60 Minute Iron Woman Match surpassed everyones expectations. After using a Kendo stick, garbage can, ladder, chairs, and a table, the two brawled all over the building and into the balcony. Angel tossed Mercedes 10 feet to the other balcony. Then it went outside onto Main Street Boonton. Traffic stopped as they brawled into the street then onto the flatbed ring truck.

Back in the ring, they went back to what brought them to the dance in the first place: Wrestilng. Tons of near falls and at the 59 minute mark, Mercedes gave Angel a brain buster though a table and she kicked out. Sudden Death Overtime. At the 70 minute mark, Mercedes pinned Angel to retain the belt. This was a history making event that will be hard to top and has firmly cemented WSU as the premier Women's Wrestling Organisation in the country. This show blew the shit out of anything that I have ever seen. Not one bad match on the card. If you don't believe me, grab the DVD and see for yourself.
