The Human Highlight Reel, Billy Reil

Controversy is a situation where we as humans are attracted to, no matter what. Controversy in wrestling is like no other, as it creates various opinions among everyone. One person who has been around a ton of wrestling controversy since the mid 90's is Billy Reil.

Billy Reil started his career in his mid-teens wrestling around his home in Philadelphia. Eventually, Billy would connect with Dennis Corraluzo of the NWA. From there, an indy star was born.

Billy Reil throughout his 10 year career has seen many ups and downs. 26 independent championships. Being covered by local news media for stopping a bank robbery. The longest ever reigning JAPW Light Heavyweight Championship. D-Sex. Knightlife. Philadelphia, NJ, & NY. Billy has accomplished alot at the age of 26, but at the same time there was an equally accomplished dark side.

Dana Dameson. Kristy Kiss. Wrestling Ring Rats. Being beat up. Getting attacked in Kentucky. And most recently, getting arrested and spending several months in jail. However, we all learn from our past, and Billy is looking forward to his future as he has self-admittedly "found god."

Before Billy moves into the future and tries to recapture glory, Billy wanted to talk about his past. The DOI recently sat with Billy Reil for two hours. When it was all said and done, we realized that there would probably be many future installments with Billy Reil down the line. However as Billy looks to write more chapters in his promising career, you must get & understand chapter 1, and that is what this shoot interview is.
