WSU 5/5 Women Show Results

From Lodi, NJ
Ref: Foxxy Foxxy
Ring Announcer: Destiny

Alexa Thatcher d. Mia Love

The Soul Sisters (Latasha & Jana) d. The Diva Killaz (Miss Deville & Kayla Sparks)

Alere Little Feather d. Della'Morte

First Ever WSU Beauty Contest
Missy Hyatt greeted the fans and welcomed everyone at the show. Missy introduced WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheik as the special guest judge of the beauty contest. Sheik cut a promo for the crowd, and if you weren't there you'll want to see the DVD to hear what he said.

Missy introduced us to the participants of the contest, which were the Soul Sisters, Foxxy, Destiny, Liz Savage & Slim Jenkins. Iron Sheik chose Slim as the winner. In a jealous rage, Liz Savage attacked Slim Jenkins, but Slim was able to put her away in a cat fight. However, Alicia, looking like a Bunkhouse Brawl Dusty Rhodes, with knee pads over the jeans, ran out and beat the crap out of Slim. Alicia ran down the crowd and Slim. Legendary womens wrestler Luna Vachon ran out and made the save, and Alicia bailed to the back. Luna said she was going to take Alicia out in the main event of the show.

In The Main Event
Hardcore Falls Count Anywhere Match
Alicia d. Luna Vachon in a wild and crazy match that saw tons of weapons, Alicia getting tossed into chairs and tables, Luna spanking Alicia with a metal shovel and more, in the stiffest & the most insane match in WSU history.

This is a match that you'll want to see on DVD if you weren't there and a match you'll definitely want to see again if you were there. This match had it all and was a classic brawl. Alicia stepped up to the challenge taking on the biggest name in her career. Luna went all out and wasn't one of the legends who sometimes just take a payday. Luna proved that she could still go, and Alicia rose to the challenge. Just a great match that WSU was really proud of. When two people in a match are kicking the crap out of each other so badly, that the locker room is all watching it and 15+ male wrestlers are "oohing" and "aahing", then you know the two people in the ring have done their job.

Quick Notes:

Luna Vachon became a grandmother the day before this show. She also was suffering from a severe migraine and was puking for the last two days. Her flight was changed two times, to give her more time to rest at home. She was still sick when she eventually boarded. Not being there wasn't an option for Luna, as Luna wanted to honor her commitment and did not want to disappoint the fans who paid to see her. Luna also wanted to prove to herself and promoters in the area that she can still go and while not 100% healthy, she gave more than 100% in the ring. The DOI also filmed a shoot interview with Luna, where she talks about this and her health issues.

WSU will be teaming up with NWA Pro again for another double-shot in the summer. More details to come.

Missy Hyatt hosted several "must-be-seen" promos for the DVD release. Missy also did commentary with Ref Hanson for the DVD.

Iron Sheik was in great spirits and got one of the biggest pops of the show.

We'll have more news soon.
