Thus far Bruno Sammartino has not issued an official answer to Larry Zbyszko's challenge (see the video on our site) however the "Living Legend" did tell me that he will have a reply in the very near future. When I pressed Bruno to give me even a little information during a recent telephone conversation, I was able to get this out of him:

"Twenty five years ago I thought I shut this punk Zbyszko up for good. He says I didn't act friendly toward him at WrestleReunion? Quite frankly I didn't pay any attention to him at all and quite frankly why the heck should I have acknowledged him in any way? We have a very unpleasant history as everyone knows, I saw the video. I heard what he said and all he has proven is the same thing he has shown through the years and that is what a big fool he is!"

At this point in the conversation, Bruno told me he would say no more about Larry Zbyszko at this time but would have a full statement in the near future.
