Actually Ricky, I did help promote NCW in PA not that long ago, but that’s a moot point. The point I simply was making was that perhaps ROH and The NWA should consider unifying their titles and get people talking about the NWA again. Even you have to admit, the NWA is basically irrelevant in the US now and has been for years. Oh, I didn’t even bash Adam Pearce, that was someone else and I wouldn’t have made that comment about him. Read the article to see who compared Adam to a cup of coffee unfairly. I at least put my name on what I said.

Ricky O is a passionate guy and does put his heart into what he does. I can see where he would have gotten angry over comments made in the article. My only comment was the NWA Championship is currently irrelevant in the US and suggested an idea (a farfetched one, but an idea) to perhaps get the NWA some publicity it does need. Adam Pearce could be in fact a great NWA Champion if promoted properly and given the vehicle to showcase his talents.

My comments were more to point out how poorly a title change was promoted also (Considering Blue Demon, JR rarely wrestled in the US, it should have been made a bigger deal) and that The NWA needs to look into marketing it’s product stronger. It was not an attack on Adam Pearce or the NWA itself.

Oh, and I have my own beltsite Ricky that I spend time working on, and yes Reggie has a fantastic site and I even posted a note when Ed Chuman passed away recently, a great loss to the NWA. I hope Ricky reads this, then rereads the DOI article that started this and understands what my thinking was, which was not to insult Adam Pearce or even the NWA, but to suggest an idea to get the NWA some publicity. Oh, and I am a beltmark, but who didn’t know that? LOL
