Spotlight
on Simply Luscious Ronnie Stevens

She is one of the fastest rising women in the wrestling who is doing nothing but accomplishing "firsts" in a male-dominated business. "Simply Luscious" Ronnie Stevens is quickly making a name for herself in parts of the United States.
Standing 5'5" and weighing in at a svelte 145 lbs., Simply Luscious is a force to be reckoned with in the ring. A resident of San Antonio, TX, Luscious became infatuated with becoming a pro wrestler after attending a WWE Smackdown! taping in her hometown. She enrolled in Shawn Michaels' Texas Wrestling Academy and was taught the ropes by the legend as well as Rudy Boy Gonzales. "I was the only female to make it through the Texas Wrestling Academy," a proud Luscious said.
Luscious continued her training with former NWA champion Dory Funk, Jr. in 2001 at his "Fight Camp," and gained even more knowledge by training under the former ECW and NWA champion Steve Corino. "Shawn Michael's may have taught me my in ring skills, but Steve Corino made me."
After training for eight months, Luscious made her professional debut in Extreme Texas Wrestling (ETW), defeating Chris Marvel. From the onset, she was taking it to the men. She would later beat Marvel for the ETW TV title in Del Rio, TX. Luscious continued to make a name for herself in the Lonestar State by competing against other formidable men and women. She went on to Mexico in the LLF promotion and won the company's light heavyweight title.
After conquering the south, Luscious decided to take over the Northeast and on May 16, 2003 she defeated current WWE developmental talent Alexis Laree for the PWF (Pennsylvania) Women's title at the infamous Elks Lodge in Queens, NY. She began to do some shows with Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Ring Of Honor, Jason Knight's Assault Championship Wrestling (ACW), and went on to win one half of the IWA (Pennsylvania) Tag Team titles.
Her hard work began to pay off when NWA: TNA called her to work some shows as Nurse Veronica and was allied with Tracy Brooks and she was exposed to pay-per-view.
Luscious found herself back on the indy scene and was also managing as well as wrestling in the ring. Some of her more high-profile clients included "The Shooter" Mike Kruel in USA Pro and "The Prophecy" in ROH which included such athletes as Xavier and "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels.
On February 14, 2004 in Bethpage, NY, Luscious became the first USA Pro Women's champion when she defeated Sumie Sakai in a match that was one of the better ones that evening. And that's saying something considering the card had some huge names on it like Raven, Shane Douglas and Sabu just to name a few.
Simply Luscious had one of her career highlights take place at a Ring of Honor show, a highlight she is really proud of. "I was in a Bunkhouse Brawl at a ROH show," she said. "I was fighting outside the ring. I felt someone grab my hair and pull me into the ring. And wouldn't you know, it was 'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes. He wound up for his bionic elbow but instead gave me the biggest movie kiss ever in wrestling history!"
One of her other favorite moments took place at an NWS show in New Jersey. She was taking on April Hunter when Slyk Wagner Brown interfered on April's behalf and double-teamed her until she was saved by WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana. "That was one of my best days of my life and career," said an ecstatic Luscious. "God bless Texas!"
Besides wrestling, Luscious has been involved in outside projects. She's appeared in several movies such as "Selena" where she appears in the runway scene. She also played a cocktail waitress in "Road To Graceland." She has also ventured to Hawaii and acted in several television shows shot there like "The Byrds of Paradise," "One West Waikiki" and "America's Most Wanted," where she appeared as an actress and not a felon. She's also done modeling and one of her gigs was as a Miller Lite Girl.
Her career is booming and is already one of the best women wrestlers in the country, and is better than most males. Always smiling and with energy to spare, this beautiful athlete is making a name for herself everywhere she goes. With her combination of superb athletic ability, positive attitude and attractive good looks, Simply Luscious is simply destined for super-stardom!

My dreams are to wrestle for a good company in Japan, and make a name for myself.
I would have to say my toughest opponent would be Sumi. It was
