I have been getting some mixed reviews on the April Hunter interview. I want to thank April for doing it. Both of us thought it came out good. Anytime you do something out of the norm there will be mixed reviews. Personally, I think some are jealous because they did not think to do it themselves. Anytime something new or different pops up there will be some jealousy. A special thank you to Luscious Lily who thinks I am a perv. NO SECRET THERE. YOU HAVE NO IDEA. A few of my inner circle people know what I like. I just keep quiet most of the time. I think Luscious Lily will be my next interview.

This past weekend was the big Iron Sheik weekend. I went to the airport to get him at around 830 in the morning. I was a little late getting there so in true fashion once he saw me he began yelling at me. I had my girlfriend with me video taping as I always talk about his wild ways but I wanted to get it on tape. But wouldn't you know it she messed it up. My girlfriend does not really care for the Sheik for all the right reasons. Once I got him and got him in the car and gave him something to drink he started to mellow out a little. He began to talk to me in the car to pass the time. I have some of this on tape. He was talking about his family problems. Sheik just became a grandfather to beautiful baby girl. He goes into some wild story of why he has not seen his granddaughter yet. It was mind boggling his reasoning. You will have to see the tape. My girlfriend " got it " all on tape. We headed to the Long Island fan fest. We got there about 1030 and the Sheik was due to go on at 130. I had him sleep in the car cause the promotion did not have a green room set up or an adequate resting place for him. The first block had Jimmy Snuka, Rocky Johnson, Mr. Fuji, and Capt. Lou Albano. I got a lot of contact info in case anyone wants to use Fuji or Rocky Johnson. I was sort of surprised that there was not a better turnout. I think the craft fair that was upstairs compared to the wrestling convention that was down stairs was better attended. At 100 I got the Sheik in to the room. He was feeling mighty good at the time if you get my drift. The afternoon block had Sgt. Slaughter, Tito Santana, Iron Sheik, & Butch Reed. I have Butch Reed's contact info just in case anyone wants to use him. The Sheik was at his best here. With his shtick he likes to work me a little, getting all over me and being obnoxious about this just to work the fans a little as he thinks they like it. My girlfriend hated this as it is embarrassing that a grown man and legend such as the Sheik has to act like this. The best was yet to come. The Q & A was next and the Sheik just let loose. He talked about doing drugs and asking for people to supply him with drugs. The look on all the other legends face was priceless. Tito was talking about school and giving back and the Sheik was talking drugs. This was classic and funny as hell. But the reality of it is quite different. I wanted him to do a shoot for me and told him not to kayfabe anymore. Well, he took my advice and shot like hell. He somehow did not understand that I wanted it for the tape only and that it was not appropriate for the Q & A. But who ever buys this Q & A and my new shoot tape with him volume 4 will be surprised as the Sheik just let loose. Lets just say it was a classic piece that only the Sheik could do.

After the convention some people wanted to party with the Sheik. I have a no tolerance policy with him for the drug partying. There was some tense moments and some distracting by the Sheik which of course did not work as I am smart to him already. After some yelling and screaming which of course is the alcohol talking in which he had close to 10 beers from 830 am to 430 or so when the convention ended. This of course did not sit well with the company that I had. Unfortunately this was not captured on tape as it would have been pure magic in the making. I finally got him the care and was off to the NWS show in NJ. Once in the car I had to use my old school psychology to calm the situation down. The Sheik apologized for his actions and as soon as the alcohol was wearing off he mellowed out. We made it to the NWS show just before showtime. They ran a good show. The building they were in is a nice building and a good building to do TV in. It sort of reminded of the old center stage studio but slightly larger. Sheik was on just before intermission and just after we left. It was my goal to get him in and out as fast as possible. I think my friends at NWS understand why. They were very accommodating. A big thank you to them for that. What I did not like is that my normal helper who I did not bring on this trip is a big Sheik fan and likes to party with him. I was trying to keep him away from the Sheik. He got to him once but I caught them. Both admitted to me what they did. I did not bring Sheik in to get high by this kid. Not to mention that the promotion could lose the building if they were caught by someone that had a hard on for them. But the worst was yet to come. I got the Sheik to the hotel room and the kid new where he was going to stay. As he always stays there when he is in town. I did not want the kid to go see him as I know what the end result would be. This kid begged and pleaded to me on the computer to tell where he was. I would not budge. I left word at the front desk not to have anyone bother the Sheik. The kid kept calling and bothering the hotel desk. He finally showed up at 1 am but the front desk told them that Sheik was not there. There was a disturbance where the cops had to be called. Sheik told me that he did not want to be bothered by anyone at all. But he plays both sides but I am smart to that as well. As long as he is in town for me I will control all aspects of what he does or there could be some trouble if Sheik gets distracted. The cops let the kid go. I was informed Sunday morning about what happened by the hotel owner who I am friendly with and gives me really good rates for my wrestlers.

Sunday morning I did a shoot interview with the Sheik. I have done 3 others with him. The first one had bad lighting and I felt it was not up to my standards to sell. The second one was about all the territories he worked and is very good. The third was done just after 911 and I talked about terrorism and some other stuff but I felt it was not that good even though it is entertaining. In the first three he really did not break kayfabe. I did this one and told him he had to answer all the questions and could not kayfabe. What I got was a 3 hour over 200 question interview that was just pure magic. It is the best shoot that I have ever done. I did a lot of research and studied how other shoot interviews were done so I would get it right this time. I definitely got it right and the Sheik was on his game today. Some of the topics discussed were his health, home life, death of his daughter in which you can see him break down and fight the tears back, his drug and alcohol addiction, terrorism, Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden, Sgt.Slaughter, Bob Backlund, Hulk Hogan, Andre, the famous beer bottle throwing incident that I was involved in with him that got the most heat on the tape and had one of the best back and forth dialogs that I can remember. It got heated for a second in there. Find out if he apologized for his actions or not. Other topics include all the memories of the different territories, the 20/20 incident with John Stossel and much more. This is a must have tape if you want to know about the drugs and partying. I will also put some behind the scenes stuff on the tape that will blow your mind and also put the Q & A that he did at the Long Island convention there that will have your jaws drop.

After the interview we left and went to see his friend in Hackensack who has an Iranian grocery store there. Sheik and him are old country guys and he always likes to see the Sheik.

The final leg of my weekend was a surprise visit to Camp IWF. Thats Kevin Knights place. I let Aj Sparxx and Kevin Knight in on it but told them to kayfabe everyone especially Dr Tom Prichard who was Sheiks student. Tom was there for a clinic all weekend and worked the shows there. Tom was very happy to see the Sheik and all he could tell everyone is that Sheik stretched him many years ago. Dr. Tom is a very nice and down to earth guy. It was a great surprise for him and was very thankful for it.

I then got the Sheik to the airport and headed home. Another long weekend with the Sheik. It is always an adventure. Like I always say the best part of the Sheik is putting him on the plane at the end of the weekend so you can go back to living a normal life again. But first I need to get to a car wash to have that smell cleaned out of my car. He did not do any medicine in my car at all it just wreaks from his body. God forbid I get pulled over by a cop.
