A last column before Christmas, and the New Year. Lets just say, I'll be very BASH-ful!
Hey everyone, thanks for reading my NEW column. Now lets get down to business. JAPW last week. One word.....GREAT! I had a ton of fun. I got a lot of heat from the crowd because I was wearing pants....which i NEVER do. But lets just say my ass was hanging out a LITTLE too much for me to be wearing them ringside. But its all good. I had fun anyway.
I finished Christmas shopping. I'm awesome at buying gifts for people. I'm just good like that. HaHa! Since not everyone celebrates Christmas, I got something for The Motivator for Hanukkah. A kick in the head for each day of Hanukkah until he pays me my $50!
So I had BWO on Dec 20th. My cousin Erin was also booked for the show. She had her first match. She was in the Battle Royal first, which led to a match later that night with Rebecca Payne. The match didn't last that long, but she did great. And it was also good to see her have a match first rather then managing. This way she don't get shit like I do. People want to say that I'm a no talent rat, hey, fine with me. I train, so really it don't mean anything to me. I just worry about her more then me. She has no reputation yet, so she's gonna have a good one. I on the other hand, received several emails asking about what happened last night at BWO. People that were there heard my name announced with Justin Cage, but I didnt come out. Here's what happened. I was supposed to manage Justin Cage. But then the plan changed, and I wasn't going to manage him, I was just supposed to go out during the match, watch him and Rush, then end up with Cage at the end. But before that angle was discussed, I told the ring announcer, to add my name with Justin Cage, not knowing I WOULDN'T being managing him. Turns out that when the match was announced Justin Cage w/ Dana Dameson, it wasn't supposed to be like that, so I got kicked off the show. So I told the ring announcer BEFORE the angle was discussed. Do I care that I was kicked off the show, NO! At first I did, but then I realized something. Why should I care that I got kicked off BWO, which is a promotion most people never even HEARD of, when I work for companies that are important, and get press. Let alone I work for these companies, where the promoters are great to work for, and understand that I'm new, and I'm still learning, and probably wouldn't kick me off a show for something so stupid like that. Luckily, I didn't sell tickets for the show. If I had, people would've been let down, and pissed that they paid their money to see ME, and I wasn't on it. If I had sold tickets, it wouldn't have changed his mind anyway and kept me on the show, cause he really didn't give a flying fuck.
Let me just explain why I'm mad. I'm mad at the fact, that I drove my half broken down car, that doesn't go in reverse, and doesn't go past 50mph, on the damn highway, to get me and my cousin to this show. In what company did you see me have to "build up" to an angle for me to manage someone? No one really cares. So it was just pathetic that I got thrown off a show because I made one mistake, making it seem like I was coming out with Cage, and ruined the whole angle. Let alone people were expecting me to come out. Especially Cage and Rush when we were supposed to have a spot!! So everyone was left confused because of this non sense. No other promoter treated me the way I was treated at BWO. And I'm sure that something so small wouldn't get turned into such a big deal in any other company. So my bad if this comes off as bitching. I just feel that a careless promoter that doesn't go over matches & talent during the show, shouldnt be taken out on the workers. All I wanted to do was entertain fans and gain some experience. I didnt get to entertain the fans, but I learned alot of experience last night
- Know who you're working for, before you work for them.
So after the show, we went to IHOP. We hung out their for a while, ate pancakes, and went home. Chris Idol got pop of the night when he walked in. Hilarious stuff!
