Latest Sabboth The Stiffer Update
The DOI has been informed that Jac Sabboth pled his case to ROH today, as he swears he hasn't bootlegged their DVDs, despite many eyewitness accounts. Sabboth emailed the DOI to tell us that he's never bootlegged TNA or ROH DVDs. However, he did not deny bootlegging RF Video, NOAH, Zero-1, NJPW, JAPW or PWU DVDs. I can personally say I've seen bootleg RF Videos & Japanese wrestling DVDs in Jac's store for sale. I have not personally seen Sabboth bootleg JAPW, PWU, ROH or TNA DVDs, although plenty of people have told me that Sabboth has done that.
Despite Jac claiming he's not booting ROH or TNA DVDs, it should also be noted that Jac Sabboth's word means nothing as he has a huge history of lying and deceiving. Many examples include Jac stiffing wrestlers on paydays, taking ticket money for wrestling shows then canceling the events, booking name wrestlers for shows, and not paying them a deposit/good will payment after canceling the show on them, closing stores & running on rent fees, saying his mother was dying to cancel shows/paydays on people, saying he was moving to California to sell ices to get out of paying debts, etc. I could literally go on all day about Sabboth's lies, but you get the point.
In a Jac Sabboth story retraction, the DOI has received information from Frank Goodman that we printed something false. When Frank Goodman purchased a USA Pro tape from Jac several years ago, it wasn't "Murder She Wrote" on the tape as previously reported. It was actually an old episode of "Three's A Company". We regret our error and misinformation.
Fans who have purchased bootleg DVDs from Sabboth are encouraged to contact the companies directly, as bootleggers hurt indy companies bottom line, and in the end hurts the quality of future events.
