March 18th Newswire
- Ring of Honor return to Michigan and Ontario this weekend with two big live events.  On Friday night we'll be at The Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, MI 48126.  Bell time is 8:00 pm.  Saturday night's event takes place at the International Centre, 6900 Airport Road, Mississauga, Ontario L4V 1E8.  Bell time is 7:30pm.  For more information on both events click here:  http://www.rohwrestling.com/News/default.aspx?cid=73.  Tickets for both events will be available to purchase at the door on the night of the show!!!

- The fans have spoken and the votes are in! ROH officials have tallied the results and made their determination.  For the big Tag Team Main Event of this Saturday’s event in Mississauga, ON the stipulation is set!  Just under 59% of the roughly 3,600 ballots cast called for the bout pitting Austin Aries and Kenny King against ROH World Champion Tyler Black and Roderick Strong to be contested under 2-out-of-3 Falls rules!  The combatants have agreed and ROH has sanctioned the bout for Saturday night.  What will this set of rules do to the unstable team of Black and Strong? Will Aries get the chance to beat both of them before the Personal Challenge Gauntlet in Phoenix even begins?  Can Kenny King take the next step in his progression and score wins over two of the best in ROH?  Be there in Ontario and see how it goes down! Tickets will be available at the door in Mississauga!

- Second place in Fan voting was an ‘Ironman’ match or variation therein with roughly 26% of the ballots cast; third in line was a ‘Fight Without Honor’ at a touch over 8% of ballots cast. In total there were 19 different and incredibly unique match types suggested, with voters in 9 countries sounding off! ROH extends a hearty thank you to everyone that sent in their votes and allowed their voices to be heard! Don’t forget that you can still sound off at ROHFansVoice@gmail.com about what new compilations and releases you’d like to see added to our incredible new download service at www.rohvideos.com. Let your voice be heard!

- The Embassy has made no bones about their quest to rid ROH of the Necro Butcher. Time and time again, Prince Nana has sent his charges to battle with that simple goal in mind. Now that battle comes to Phoenix. On March 26th, the Necro Butcher has signed to face perhaps the only man in ROH tougher than he – Bison Smith. Bison and Necro have rumbled in the past. On Episode 29 of ROH on HDNet the battle was too wild and went all over the Arena in South Philly. Nana promises much of the same flavor of chaos in Phoenix. “I bring my atomic weapons to Arizona,” said the Prince. “My Bison of terror returns from Japan, and with him comes death to that barefooter and no one can stop it. No Skullkrushers, no Kingstons, no anyone. I have made deals with great warriors that will end that Necro.” You can believe that Bison and Necro will deliver a fight that will be unrivalled next weekend in Arizona. Sources indicate that even more Embassy challenges have been met, and we’ll have news on that next week!

- Just signed for Ontario this Saturday is Four Corner Survival!! “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown makes his Ontario debut against the impressive Tyson Dux, as well as the man he faces on Friday night in singles action, “Addicted to Love” Rhett Titus, and a mystery fourth man. Can Brown continue his dominant ways in ROH with the Embassy out of sight, or will Titus soften him up too much the night before in Michigan? Can Tyson Dux impress once again in Ontario, and what of the unknown fourth competitor?

- Ring of Honor got an unexpected phone call this week from a tremendous talent looking to make a return to action when Ring of Honor invades Phoenix. An unnamed source on the ROH Booking Committee believes that talks will continue with this incredible athlete next week and there is an outside chance that he could appear on the March 26th and 27th cards. More on this as it develops.
