From what I’ve seen and I’m sure I will be leaving some of the great facts out is this:

-We decided it was time to remove Saddam from power and a couple weeks after taking action we did.
-We said we would help rebuild the infrastructure of the country and we have been doing it.
-We said that we would help create a government and Iraq had their 1st election in god knows how long. Iraqi’s were out in droves with their fingers dipping into that purple ink to show they’ve voted. Amazing day that was.
-We said we’d help these newly elected officials create a Constitution and we did.
-We said we’d help them have their 2nd election and their 3rd election as well and we did.
-We said we would train their police and their military and we have.
-We said we would stand down when the Iraqi’s could stand up and we are doing that.

So whats the issue? That above seems like some sort of plan. Now one thing I’m sure of is that one of the reasons the defeatocrats are going nuts is because Bush and his admin keep them in the dark on things. They are left out of the loop. Not all of them. There are some dems that are involved in some things but as an overall party they are in the dark and they should be kept in the dark. They have become a dangerous organization that does not have the best interests of America at heart. They have the best interests of themselves at heart.

So was there a plan for Iraq? Of course there was. Don’t let the defeatocrats make you believe that the people running our country are idiots. They aren’t. They know what they are doing. War is not an easy thing. There are tough decisions that need to be made and you can not predict what the enemy will do. It also doesn’t help when you have one of the biggest political parties in our country constantly undermining the President and the war itself.

My feeling is that we are on the right path. Iraq will be a democracy and an ally of the USA. That is something we need big time in that part of the world if we wish to stop terrorists from killing more innocent Americans.
