Before reading here is some background info: The Democratic Majority Congress decided to waste taxpayers money and debate for a week about whether or not to support the REINFORCEMENT of our troops in Iraq so we could win this war. The resolution to NOT support it if passed was NON-BINDING meaning that it had no bite. It meant nothing. Congress does not micro-manage wars. They vote on whether to go to war and how much money gets spent on it. They DO NOT decide how the war is operated. Those decisions are made by the Commander in Chief who is taking the advice of his Generals and Commanders who are in the ground in the mix over in Iraq. He doesnt take the advice on how to run a war from some fat crook from PA. or some liberal lunatic from San Fran, Ca. So with that said, read my thoughts on this disgusting display by 248 Democrats and 17 Republicans who voted AGAINST supporting our troops, who voted AGAINST winning the war and who voted FOR SURRENDER, RETREAT and leaving Iraq in the hands of our enemy to plan and execute the next attack on our nations homeland. STRAIGHT UP TREASON!
I just wanted to say great job by the Democrats in Congress for undermining the President, this war and our troops. Way to support our heroes overseas. Way to go! Way to waste a week on the job getting paid by MY tax payer dollars on a NON binding resolution that pretty much calls for retreat, surrender and leaving Iraq in the hands of Iran and Al-Qaeda. WAY TO GO! Talk about straight up cowards. When the going gets tough the Democrats tuck their tails and pretty much commit treason. And for what? They have NOTHING invested in a victory in Iraq but they sure as hell have a lot to gain if we lose in Iraq dont they? The White House in 2008 would be theres if we lose in Iraq. Way to go Democrats. Way to embolden the enemy and shake the moral of our troops. What a disgrace. An absolute disgrace.
But the great thing is this - the American people wont stand for this nonsense. The Democrats are clear like glass and everyone sees right through them. Its a vote so they can secure power in the not so distant future and they do it at the cost of American soldiers and the safety of Americans and American interests everywhere.
248 cowardace Democrats and 17 cowardace Republicans. Straight up COWARDS. Kudos to the 2 Democrats who voted against this nonsense.
Then the Senate decides they are going to work on a Saturday!!! Holy cow they are going to put in some overtime?!?!?! HOLY SHIT! So they try to do the same shit but it doesnt pass. Kudos to the brave men and women in the US Senate who voted against retreat and surrender.
The best is this buffoon and CROOK John Murtha claiming that our troops arent properly trained and dont have the right equipment to fight this war. So we should listen to a fat crook who's 70+ years old sitting on his fat treasonous ass in PA. about how well and equiped our troops are instead of listening to Gen. Petreaous, the Pentagon and the Defense Dept. Right, Murtha and Pelosi and Reid and Schummer are the experts here. HOW DARE THEM DO THIS TO OUR TROOPS. How dare they claim we'd send them in there without proper training. At what cost are the Democrats willing to stoop? Where does it stop? When does the thirst for power end for these cowards? It doesnt, not until 2008 when the people will once again speak up and let the DEFEATocrats know that we refuse to have another killing fields in Cambodia. You know when the Cowardocrats cut funding in Vietnam and the second the American military left millions of cambodians were SLAUGHTERED.
Why dont the Cowards who voted for this nonbinding resolution put forth a resolution to CUT FUNDING for this war? That is actually something they can do!!! If they feel so strongly about not fighting this war and retreating, cut the funding. Its that simple. They can vote to cut the funding of the war and then watch the slaughter begin and sit back and wait for Iran and Al-Qaeda to take over Iraq and then they'd be responsible for what happened. But they dont have the political moral values to do that. They are morally bankrupt these people. They wont even allow themseleves to be held accountable for the actions they take. They'll claim they dont support this war and dont think we can win it but at the same time they will agree to send our kids to war. What a bunch of spineless jellyfish and disgraces to our great nation. These people make me sick to my stomach and anyone who agrees with this course of action is a disgrace to our nation.
Lets leave Iraq in the hands of Al-Qaeda and in the hands of the Iranian clerics. The 2 groups of people who have been attacking us for decades now. Lets leave Iraq to become a slaughter house where those who want freedom will find death. Lets leave Iraq so our enemies have a safe haven to plan, plot and execute the next attacks on our nations homeland. Great plan you got there Nancy Pelosi. Great plan you got there Defeatocrats. You should all be sooooo proud of yourselves.
