Dear Mr. Zevon

My wife and I would like to take a moment to say thank you for being a voice of reason and I must say it was incredibly surprising to find it on a wrestling related website! My son comes to your website because he is a big wrestling fan and he alerted me to a column you re-posted by former Mayor Ed Koch. Needless to say I appreciate the sentiments of the former Mayor and agree wholeheartedly with both of you. I then took some time to read up on some of your other columns and you made me realize that not all young people have been swayed by the media after all. There are some people out there trying to be the voice of reason and to wake America up to a serious threat to our country. My father was killed on September 11th 2001 and since that day I have been doing everything I can to stop the far left from allowing our country to drop its guard again. Had we kept our eyes and ears open and been on alert to a growing danger in fanatical Islam my father may be alive today.

Thank you and keep up the great work. I will return to your site from time to time to read up on what you have to say about politics and world events. I’m not a wrestling fan at all so forgive me for not having any interest in that part of your site. I’ll leave that to my son.

I read the column about Sandy Berger stealing top secret papers from the National Archives and I am appalled. Why hasn’t there been a huge outcry from the media and the public? What the hell is going on here?

Paul, I agree with you 100%. The reason for the lack of attention is the media is dominated by the far left. The far left is controlled by the Clinton machine and Sandy Berger was Bill Clinton’s National Security Advisor. The fact that Berger was told to bring info to the 9/11 Commission and he stole info and kept it from the Commission makes that entire process a complete waste of time and American tax payer dollars. It’s a disgrace and we the people need to do something about it! Thank you for reading!

You and I agree on probably most things politically.On Barack Obama,I could be mistaken but if he ran for reelection this past November then I believe that I am 99.9% sure of the following.He ran saying that he was against abortion when he voted for it.He said he was against tax increases when he voted for them numerous times. and there were other similar issues.If that's the case then he does'nt stand on his convictions.Another disturbing thing that has been brought to light by Jesse Lee Peterson(a man I would vote for president if he would run) Barack belongs to a church that has on their website their beliefs written by their pastor, we believe this and that all having black written in them.The most disturbing one saying We pledge alliance to all the black leaders.Some people say well he probably does'nt know the church's beliefs, all I can say on that is a person should'nt belong to a church if that's the case.I belong to church where I don't agree with the national ideals of the denomination,but our particular church is standing on it's own on more conservative principals.I will leave everything more brief on this particular letter, not wanting to bore you too bad.

I responded to John via e-mail but would like to comment about the Barack Obama Church issue. The Pastor of his church IS racist. The church he belongs to preaches an agenda of only helping black people. I have no problem with black folks helping each other out but if that was a white church what kind of outrage would there be? The church would be called RACIST and the leaders would be run out of the country. Look for a column regarding this situation in the near future!

I cant help but be amazed at how ignorant you are. How can you support this President? He is not my President and does not represent me. He is a liar and a cheat. His policies have caused the death of thousands of people. He has lied and people died! I was so happy when the Republicans lost the elections of 2006. Now great leaders like Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean can properly run this country.

I agreed with your column where you called the Democrats a bunch of treasonous pigs. How dare they vote to send our troops to war, then try to micromanage the war. Why did they vote against reinforcing our troops on the ground in Iraq? There is only 1 Commander in Chief. Not 350! If these “so called patriots” want to end the war, why did they vote to send in General Petreaus? Why, if they are so against this war, don’t they cut the funding to the war which they are constitutionally allowed to do? Its clear they want to lose this war to embarrass the President and the Republicans so they can get into the White House in 2008. That is treason!

So there you have it folks. Another installment of reader feedback. Please take notice of the highly intelligent e-mails I received from those who disagree with me. Its amazing how they can just insult, insult and insult some more. But it is important that they be allowed to say what they feel. Yes, even the liberals who are destroying our country are allowed their say. They make me sick but I would never take away their constitutional right to speak up.
