The point is that since we started the politic gimmick on the DOI there has been a lot of noise. Below you’ll see some of the feedback that I’ve gotten since posting my columns.

I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for reading our stuff and appreciate all the feedback.

The feedback will be initalics and I’ll post a quick response to some of them in bold

In response to my column about Israel and Hezbollah:

After reading that piece of crap you wrote, I'm really not sure I can give it the respect of a debate or feedback on that extremely sided opinionated trash. (You really tailored that shit nice)

But I'll come up with something.

I wish it was all as easy as nuking the holy land so nobody has anything to claim in the name of religion. Religion is sooo great! Why do we fucken blow Israel so much? I say fuck them. Instead of just selling arms to Israel we should also sell to the towel heads. Let them all blow each other up. Now if there was only a way to get those born again asshole Christians like Johnny Ova and Bobby Reidel blow up in that mess it would be ideal because those nutty Christians are no better.

I'd go point for point with you but it would make me queasy to read it again.

Gotta love Skottiboy. He’s been a regular in the DOI Political world. Of course the funniest part of his feedback was the cheap shot on Reidel and Ova. I don’t know them personally but I have to agree to some extent that people who take religion to that fanatical level are a bit Kooky. But that’s the great thing about living in America – Freedom of Religion. If people want to believe that a woman came from a mans rib or some shit like that who am I to tell them their ignorance is laughable?

Regarding the anti semitism that you may have spotted growing inside me like a primo sour diesel bud. Well I realize that any time somebody criticizes Israel it's bound to be seen as anti-Semitism. But I like to think that I disagree with all 3 of the religions equally. They all share an ideology that their way is the only right way. I treat all people with respect and consideration regardless if they're fucken asshole Satanists or whatever. Side note: Jewish people are the funniest people in the world and have been my best drug dealers over the years.

My extremely AWESOME solution to just wipe out the middle east wouldn't please any of the 3 religions. Of course it's obviously a very unrealistic solution to a problem. It was said more tongue in cheek than anything due to my frustration with the constant struggle in the Middle East. Hasn't it been going on since the beginning of time? And now they're talking about not stopping the fighting until they establish a "lasting sustainable peace". Man, who really thinks that can or will be done. I'd be willing to bet it never happens in our lifetimes, our children's lifetimes or our great grand children's lifetimes...

Anyway i hope you don't consider me a huge anti-Semite. The truth is if somebody in need came to my door regardless of religion I'd help UNLESS THEY'RE A BLACK!

PS: When I first read that you were going to do a political column on the DOI I thought to myself: I'm sure less than 10% of the total DOI readership has EVER voted for any political/school board office ever. Most of these morons couldn't tell you whether Bush is conservative or liberal. So basically you're writing a politics column to a bunch of special ed students who couldn't figure out how to work a voting machine, let alone locate one.

I know wikipedia isn't exactly the best news site, but it at least has a decent bibliography.

I agree that the DOI can use a politics column, especially since wrestling uses elements from the news for storylines. I hope you continue the column, as it's always great to read the opinions of those that work for websites I regularly frequent.

I really don't think there is anything the left wont stoop to further their warped agenda. It makes one wonder who is indeed more dangerous to our country, the Islamo fascists or the left. It is sad when their pure hatred of President Bush exceeds their concern for our country and our safety. Thank you Smitty for your response. Its nice to know that there are folks out there that read and appreciate what I am writing. Its pathetic that when the media wanted to attack the Bush administration because they go FALSE reports of an alleged leak it was on the front page of every paper and the main story on every website. Now that it was once again proven to be a lie perpetrated by the far left with the hopes of smearing the President of the United States of America the story ISNT on the front pages and ISNT the main story on websites. The damage was done and the far left accomplished what they set out to do. Too bad the American people are much smarter then the liberals would like to believe. To Anonymous – If my daughter joined the military when she grew up I would be extremely proud of her. I would worry about her but I would be proud that my daughter stepped up to defend the freedoms that you take for granted. My feeling is that when my daughter grows up she’ll be making decisions that I’ll approve of. She’s got great parents! Ok folks that’s it for this round of reader feedback. There are over 100 more e-mails that I have to sift through and see which are good enough to post.
