Samoan Cup Predictions

The following are my predictions for the 2004 Samoan Cup Tag Team Tournament. My predictions do not reflect anyone elses opinion on the tournament except maybe The MiC who secretly is rooting for the Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz.

Round 1

Natural Born Sinners defeat Goodfellas – The reunited NBS will steamroll in the 1st round.

The Island Tribe defeat Hot n Sexy – The Samoans will get the victory setting up a match up with the NBS.

The S.A.T. defeat All Money is Legal – Luck of the draw has AMIL dropping the match to the S.A.T. in what should be a coming out party for AMIL.

Mikey & Wayne defeat Coast Busters – Going to pick Mikey & Wayne based on the fact I do not know the Coast Busters.

Christopher Street Connection defeat The Untouchables – The CSC are rolling after a successful trip to Japan. It wont stop in round 1.

The Outkast Killaz defeat The Fabulous Trailers – The Outkast Killaz advance.

The Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz defeat The All Knighters – Sticking with my boys to advance into round 2 setting up a match with rivals Papadon and Havok

The Solution defeat The Ivy League – The Solution in a squash.

Round 2

Natural Born Sinners vs. The Island Tribe – Double DQ – The ring nor the referee can contain both teams causing the Double DQ and setting up a nasty feud between all 4 guys.

The S.A..T. defeat Mikey & Wayne – Students defeat teacher as the S.A.T. are too much for Mikey Whipwreck and another of his students Wayne. S.A.T. get a bye to the finals due to the Double DQ from earlier.

Christopher Street Connection defeat The Outkast Killaz - Mace & Buff E have a decisive advantage in the experience category giving them enough to advance against the upstart Outkast Killaz.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz defeat The Solution – Match should be rough and rugged. I expect the DRS to win for 2 reasons. The tourney needs a good heel team to advance and it wouldn’t be fun unless I picked the DRS to make Papadon and The MiC cringe.

Round 3

The S.A.T. – Bye to the Finals

Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz defeat Christopher Street Connection – Homicides influence is all over this match as 4 of his students fight for the right to make it to the finals of the Samoan Cup. DRS get the victory with some kind of classic cheat tactic.

Finals

The S.A.T. defeat Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz – Early 2003 revisited as the S.A.T. and DRS continue their heated rivalry. DRS will pull out all the tricks of the trade but in the end it will be the S.A.T. winning the Samoan Cup when something backfires on the D.R.S. ala Wyle E. Coyote.
