What up everyone and welcome to another McTape Review. This time, I watched the Missy Hyatt shoot interview, which was conducted by The Wrestling Universe, but is now available for sale in the DOI Video Section. This was probably one of the best interviews I’ve seen with Missy, as she was very candid and held nothing back. This was about 3 hours long and no topic is off limits. I summed up most of the highlights from the interview. Check out the Final McWord for my thoughts.

Note: Missy Hyatt is wearing a see through shirt, where you can see her nipples and the cameras picked up on that.
Also, Missy is wearing a big ass furry coat.
This interview was conducted in the Summer of 2001.

Missy starts off by saying the first time she did drugs, it was with Jake Roberts in 1981. She did coke with Jake. She also said Jake booked GCW at the time.

Missy then talks about things off camera, and calls the people who are there rats.

She broke in the business by having a boyfriend in the business, and liked it from there.

Said she used to room with a ring rat in Atlanta.

Used to go out with John Tatum who brought her into wrestling.

On WCCW- best place ever to work. Loved it. If she could be Dorothy, she'd click her heels and go back to WCCW in 1985. Talked about being a celebrity in Texas during her time there.

Liked the Von Erichs. Had fun with them.

Talks about getting drunk in WCW and seeing Kerry Von Erich. She wanted to take his foot off to see if he had it or not after his motorcycle accident.

Talks about life on the road and paying dues. Talks about being ribbed. Talks about Buddy Roberts trying to pee on her.

Really likes Sunshine during her time there.

Says she hate girls wrestling. Likes cat fights. Says women aren't built like men, so they shouldn't be wrestling like men. Fans want to see girls roll around like cat fights "meow meow" and not see them doing flips and moves off the top rope.

Talks about being spanked by Kevin Von Erich and liking it.

Talks about main eventing Cowboys Stadium vs Sunshine.

Talks about the Freebirds and Jack Victory. Says Dark Journey got in the business by blowing Dick Slater.

Talks about leaving World Class to go to UWF. Says she was in UWF for a while and how there was nothing left to do. Talked about how she was going to be w/Gino Hernandez, but he died.

During her time, she made as much money as Sting and Rick Steiner.

Calls Bill Watts a “total asshole.” Calls him a “terror.” Says signing a contract w/him was horrible. Says he got a divorce after leaving, because he fucked Dark Journey.

Hated working with Dark Journey says she’s stupid.

She liked John Tatum’s work as a wrestler. Says he can’t cut a promo. Missy cut a promo for him, and she was in the right place at the right time.

Loved working with Sunshine talks about laughing in the ring.

Talks about Eddie Gilbert. Talks about UWF and how she was involved in a n w o type angle. Talks about leaving John for Eddie. Talks about how a lot of things were stolen from UWF by WWF and WCW.

Liked working with the Fantastics, but hated it too, because they would take forever to get to the ring, because there were such baby faces.

Talks about kayfabe and how heels and faces weren’t allowed to socialize or talk together at shows. Missy calls herself an old timer. She mimmicks the people before her jokingly about being an old timer. Says Watts would fine people if they socialized with face/heels depending on what they were.

Calls Dark Journey a crackhead. Talks about how Dark Journey broke her thumbs and cracked her mouth. She said Dark Journey beat the crap out of her. Said she would never cry because it would be a sign of weakness in the lockerroom.

Missy then talks about getting revenge, by kicking her in the mouth so hard that Missy even broke her baby toe.

Loves Jim Ross, and calls him the nicest man in wrestling. Says Ross always looked out for her and was one of the best people in wrestling. She said that Ross looked out for everyone, and at the time when people wanted to get with her, he looked out for her in her best benefit.

Talks more about working with Eddie Gilbert.

Missy is wearing a revealing outfit in this interview, and some jokes and some stuff was going on during the interview.

Calls Bill Watts a “big fat piece of crap. I don’t care about him.”

Missy talks about going into the WWF and the promises Vince made to her. She talked about this story in her book as well.

She talks about marrying Eddie Gilbert in 1987 during Halloween.

Says she loved Babydoll and enjoyed working with her.

Talked about her contract with Bill Watts. Towards the end, she said she dressed ugly on purpose. Said she’d wear sweatpants, big shoes, anything to make her look nasty, because Watts wouldn’t let her out of her contract. Because he wouldn’t let her out, she’d do this, because no where in her contract said anything about dressing sexy.

Talks about her debut in the WWF in a segment with Jimmy Hart and Honky Tonk Man.

Talks about Missy Manor, which never developed or took off.

Says Rick Martel is gay, but Tom Zenk is straight. She puts over Zenk highly and talks about how Zenk defended her to Eric Bischoff.

Talks about a three way that happened with Terri Runnels, Brian Pillman and Tom Zenk. Good stuff, worth hearing.

Says she is forklempt while talking about the WWF.

Missy sings her Hanukah song, which goes to the same tune as Adam Sandler’s song.

We find out some Jews in wrestling, during Missy’s song, such as Howard Finkel, Dean Malenko, and Prince Albert. We find out that Miss Elizabeth converted to Judiasm. Wow, Molly Holly is a jew too. Wow, even Kane is a jew! No wonder he’s so mad all the time. Funny shit here.

Talks about some promos she did in UWF.

She bashes WCW, as WCW was still alive then. She said WCW fans are dressed like chairs. Zing.

Calls Ric Flair a pervert. Said he is always showing his dick, whether it’s a flight attendant or at a fast food place. He’s always showing his dick no matter what. Says Flair is such a perv, but he really does get all the women like he sas he does. Talks about going in airplanes, and Flair would strut around the airplane with just his robe, then expose himself and scream WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Nick Knowledge, the interviewer, is shrieking in laughter like a school girl.

She says his matches are all the same, so he is probably a lousy fucker.

Talks about rehearsing her lines before going on live TV.

Talks about working with Lance Russell. Good stuff.

Talks about Madusa marrying her ex’s. Has some choice words for Madusa.

INTERMISSION. Now we got an intermission in a shoot interview, as they go to break.

Missy comes back in different clothing, this time covering her ta ta’s. She offers to show them to Nick Knowledge who sounded nervous saying yes.

Talks about working in Memphis. She loved Lawler. She wasn’t a fan of Jeff Jarrett now or today. Talks about Jarrett’s dad owning a promotion in Memphis. This was done before TNA, I wonder what she thinks now. She calls them rednecks.

Says she’d rather work for burger king then work for Jerry Jarrett. She said working for Lawler was great and loved working with him.

Talks about the Maid for a Day angle. Explains the whole thing, and says that Lawler was great for letting her do it.

Says Gilbert was a huge fan of Lawler. She recaps a story from her book, and tells how Lawler gave one of his crowns to Missy to give to Eddie for a present. Said Eddie loved it.

Talks about Brother Ernest Angel, who Brother Love ripped off. Talks about the whole angles and more.

Talks about Shane Douglas and Mick Foley, and how she and Eddie gave Shane Douglas the name, Shane Douglas.

Calls Tom Pritchard hot, and says she liked him.

Loves Stan Lane and said she has gangsta love for him.

Calls Tony Anthony a jabroni. Ditto Mystic.

Knowledge asks a bunch of questions now, that Missy denies even ever happening. Missy takes it in stride instead of bashing Knowledge.

Talks about getting into WCW and managing the Steiners. She says they were nice guys. Said the Steiners got along great and were very close.

Calls Kevin Sullivan a troll. Says she’ll dance on his grave when he dies. She despises him. Talks about how Kevin was mean to Woman/Nancy Sullivan and Eddie Gilbert. Says Sullivan was the devil.

Talks about being “romantically linked” to Road Warrior Hawk. Says Hawk dumped her. Talks about his bad health. 2 years later, he died.

Missy says she doesn’t care about wrestling stuff and the politics. Says she loved having fun doing her job.

Talks about dealing with Eric Bischoff. Missy don’t care what goes on with anyone besides herself. Says she never watched her matches or anyone elses. Talks about wanting to be a mom just so she can show her tapes.

Talks about interviewing people, and having fun with Stan Hansen.

Calls El Gigante/Giant Gonzales a pervert and an idiot. Talks about putting shaving cream in his boots for his 8 foot body. She just crushed my dreams as I was a big Gonzales mark lol.

Calls Jason Hervey from the Wonder Years, the best boy friend she ever had. Talks about her relationship with him.

Talks more about WCW. Great stuff.

Talks about her feuds with Paul E Dangerously. Talks about Madusa marrying Eddie Gilbert.

Says she hated doing bikini contests. Said she hated doing them. Talks about bribery and how her ass was never shown on TV but Madusa’s was. Said Madusa was on steroids and how Madusa had to shave her back.

Says Scott Putski had a small cock for all you wondering.

Said she loved working with Paul E. Dangerously. Says Paul would rather climb a tree and tell a lie then stand on the ground and tell the truth.

Talks about her bad eyesight and gives some stories.

Talks about horrible WCW booking, and being kidnapped.

Talks about Eric Bischoff, Jason Hervey, Jim Ross leaving, and managing the Nasty Boys during a wack time in WCW.

Says Dusty Rhodes called her his “Janes Manfield baby”, when he was the booker.

Talks about going back to the WWF with Brian Pillman, but Pillman died befor it could happen.

Says she never clicked with the Nasty Boys.

Talks about the Undertaker and how he spiked her drink. She takes an Undertaker JAKKS figure to illustrate her story.

She hates Ole Anderson. She said that Ole said that The Undertaker would never make a dime. Says WCW was a mess and it was only fun to work with Dusty or Eddie.

We then get a camera angle showing Missy’s nipples through her shirt. Good camera work here haha.

Says she loved Arn Anderson and Bill Alfonso. Says they are nice guys.

Talks about leaving WCW. Says in the CNN center there were pictures of Missy Hyatts boob, that popped out at a PPV. She wanted an apology from it. Says Jason Hervey also had a hand in getting her fired, because she dumped him, and Hervey was close with Bischoff. She talks about this in detail.

Talks about joining ECW.

Talks about the awful NYS Athletic Commission.

Says that Jake Roberts is the MacGuyver of Crack Pipes. Says that Jake Roberts does so much crack and can make a crack pipe out of anything.

Talks about meeting the Quebec Nordiques (The then Colorado Avalanche) at the Chyna club.

Says she won her lawsuit against WCW in 1996, but can’t disclose the information about it.

Talks about working with The Sandman. Says Sandman was always drunk and has really bad body odor. Talks about getting huge pops with The Sandman. Says she liked him, but he was just stinky.

Talks about Sandman’s wife, and how she didn’t like working with her.

Say Paul Heyman was a master manipulater and gave great King Henry speeches to motivate his locker room.

Calls Taz a midget. Calls Taz an asshole. Talks about the UFC fighter Paul Varland vs Taz. Says he had to make that happen, because Taz is 5 feet and Paul was 6’8’. Says she did something very naughty to make Paul tap out to Taz. She says she’s ashamed of doing it, and never got a bonus. Says she feels like a hooker.

She likes Cactus Jack, and says Cactus Jack was the innovator of wrestling books.

She goes back to the Taz/Paul story, and then tells the truth of what happened. Watch the video to see what it was lol.

Talks about Kid Kash, and asks some questions about him.

We take another intermission.

Talks about a porno, and said she’s not in any porno movies.

Talk about XPW. Tells everyone not to buy it, because she never got paid. Calls Rob Black an asshole. Calls him a scumbag.

Calls Johnny Webb dull and boring.

Says XPW was a weak ECW. Calls XPW jabronis.

Talks about Buff Bagwell. Says she got Buff Bagwell into wrestling. Says she brought his tape to a gay WCW bigwig, and that’s how he got his contract.

Talks about Jessie Ventura and says she would of blew him if she knew he was going to be governor.

She now takes random wrestling figures out of a bin. She then does word association with the figures:

Talks about Virgil and says he showed his big black cock to a gay WWF booker? Pat Patterson?

Missy says that Ultimate Warrior was a male escort before getting into wrestling. Oh man that’s great.

Calls Martel a fag.

Says Sags is an idiot.

Calls Bobby Heenan another idiot who ruined her hotline.

Calls Mean Gene was a pervert who always asked Missy to do coke with him. Calls him a bald headed boob.

Takes out a Virgil figure and says it’s not anatomically correct.

Calls Jake a crackhead.

Says she owes Kevin Nash a blowjob.

Talks about Val Venis, and this is the same story from her book. Says he is a lousy lay.

Talks about AWF and how it flopped. Says Tito is a nice guy.

Calls Beluah a douchebag. She likes Kimona. Has choice words for Beluah.

Hates Sable. Says she ruined Marc Meros career.

Talks about Rick Rude and Louie Spicolli dying.

Talks about more guys dying, and talks in deep about Eddie Gilbert.

Talks about the drugs and death in pro wrestling.

Talks about never working in Madison Square Garden, and is visibly upset about it. The camera then goes on her rack again, and she tells the camera, “Camera up! My face is up here!” Funny stuff.

Says Terry Funk is one of her favorite wrestlers.

Talks about her wrestling tape collection.

Calls Doug Gilbert a sponge.

Nick Knowledge recaps some old Eddie Gilbert stuff and Missy really enjoys it. Talks about Cactus Jack and how much he sacrificed his body.

She talks about her book that was then coming out. She said she won’t even let her mom read her book.

Talks about the Lost Battalion Hall and the riot.

Missy talks about the Wrestling Universe and how she never has seen so many tapes in one place. She didn’t mentioned if they were BOOTLEGGED or not. Haha.

Talks about how a lot of the ECW roster marked for her, especially Kid Kash. She says she has gotten older and the wrestlers have gotten younger and talks about how wrestlers used to watch her all the time.

Missy talks about flashing the Wrestling Universe, but Nick Knowledge still wants to talk rasslin.

Missy says she never had a problem doing anything in her career. She says in todays wrestling, she wouldn’t do what the girls are doing today. She said she has a great reputation with promoters.

She says Lita does some crazy moves, but she doesn’t think girls should be wrestling, they should be eye candy.

Missy said she never met Miss Elizabeth.

Missy said she was jealous of Sunny. Said Sunny was great and did so much. Missy said Sunny hated her, because Chris Candido had a Missy Hyatt poster. When they finally met they got along and laughed together.

Missy likes Francine and says she paid her dues. She said Francine looks a lot better with a boob job and that she’s really come a long way.

Missy says El Paso, Texas fans are the most craziest fans.

Missy then flashes the camera! You gotta see this on tape.

FINAL McWord
Excellent interview, definitely the best work from The Wrestling Universe. Missy didn’t hold anything back. After watching this, you get the feeling that Missy had a great time while in the wrestling business. She does come off as very promiscuous, not that that is a bad thing.

I really enjoyed this interview. I’m not a big fan of sitting down and watching people talk, but this was worth it. Missy comes off very honest and emotional in some points in the interview. You can also see her sense of humor as it comes through in various parts of the interview, such as singing the Hanukah song as well as playing word association with wrestling figures.

I thought Nick Knowledge came off very smart with his questions, even though you can hear him reading them off in his voice, and not really asking too many follow up questions. Overall, I think he did a good job getting answers.
