The interview starts off with Candido talking about how he got into wrestling. His grandfather was a wrestler, and was a huge influence in getting Chris into wrestling. Candido talked about meeting some legendary wrestlers through his grandfather and going to shows at Madison Square Garden. After talking about how he got into wrestling, Candido talked about how he met one of his best friends, Balls Mahoney. Chris describes Balls very humorously, saying Balls was 6' tall, 300 pounds and had a beard when he was in the fourth grade. With his friend Balls Mahoney, Chris and Balls used to train in Brooklyn, NY in a dingy little building. Chris describes his early work here, and talks about how he met the love of his life, Tammy "Sunny" Sytch.

Chris later on talks about working the indies. He talks about working for NWA NJ and working for Dennis Corraluzzo. Chris then talks about how he went down to Smokey Mountain Wrestling with Taz. Candido recollects working for Jim Cornette and how he learned alot from him. Candido talks about some of his SMW matches and his feuds. Candido also talks about how Tammy went from a photographer for Bill Apter into becoming a manager. Candido talks about Tammy alot in this interview, and Candido talks alot about how Tammy got into the business and what she did when she was in it. Tammy and Chris weren't paired together at first, but they did work in the same promotion.

Candido said the first time he thought he really made it in the business is when Jim Cornette managed him. He talks about how great it was and how he felt like he accomplished something.

Candido then talks about working for the WWF, and how Cornette knew about it before Candido ever did. Candido spends a good time talking about the WWF and his time there. He said how he sometimes thought he was hired because of Sunny, but at the same time he was very talented.

Chris hated the BodyDonna gimmick. He talked about how much Pritchard hated it too. Chris spent alot of time talking about Tammy's success in the WWF while he was neglected and doing bullshit work.

Chris is questioned about alot of the Tammy rumors about how she slept with Nash, how she slept with HBK, how she slept with The British Bulldog etc. Chris said he'd like to believe none of it is true and said Tammy told him it wasn't true. Chris then talks about how Sunny was the only girl there, and that there were alot of men. If there weren't any rats around, and guys aren't going home to their wives, then they'd all be staring at Sunny. He said he understood why people would look at her, but said no one did anything with her. He said alot of rumors started because she was the top girl and HBK was the top dog at the time. It is natural to assume that the top two members of the opposite sex are involved, but it just wasn't true.

Candido talked about his heat with the Kliq. He talks about it throughout the interview in chronological order. He said he was alot like HBK in the fact that HBK was always fighting to break to the top, just like how Chris was. Once HBK got there he didn't want anyone taking him down. Candido said he understood that, because he was the same way. Candido even talked about how he was cool with the Kliq before all the bullshit, as he used to ride with them to the shows.

Candido talks about how he walked out on the WWF. Later on, Sunny would do the same thing and walk out. Chris said everything he's done in his career, he's done it the wrong way. He left the wrong way and pretty much said fuck you to everyone on his way out. In fact, he called Paul Heyman from a Raw Taping to let Paul know he wanted to work for ECW. Vince thought Chris was going to go to WCW, but once he found out Chris wanted to do ECW, Vince said go ahead. Chris didn't know why Vince let him go so easy, but after watching the ECW DVD, he figured out that it was because Paul was secretly on the WWF payroll anyway. Very interesting stuff here.

Chris then talks about working for ECW and how he got started. He talks about his relationship with Paul. Chris even talks about how Dennis of the NWA was upset that Chris worked for ECW, but Chris said NWA only ran once a month while ECW was doing much more. Chris, a former NWA Champion, didn't want any heat with the NWA, but had to make ends meet.

Chris talked about his time in ECW, and how he also worked for FMW. He talks about Sabu getting cut so deep that he didn't even feel it. Chris tells alot of ECW war stories and who he was cool with. He was very cool with Sabu, and even did Sabu's benefit show for Crowbars promotion in NJ 2 months ago. Chris put over his relationship with Sabu.

About an hour of this interview is about ECW, and how Chris was the travel agent of ECW. He talked about how he would buy all the flights, and Paul would just reimburse him without looking at the bills because he trusted Chris. Towards the end of ECW, Paul couldn't pay him back and left Chris in debt.

After leaving ECW, Chris went to WCW. Paul wanted Chris to sign something saying where if he works for WCW, Chris wouldn't hold him responsible for the debt. Chris had to sign it because he wanted to work and make money. From there, Tammy and Chris went to WCW.

Chris didn't mind working for WCW because he was making some green. He was there for a short time but it seems things would've been bigger for him if Kimberly Page wasn't a bitch. Throughout this interview, Chris candidly talks about his drug abuse. So when there was Nuban (Some sort of drug that I'm not familiar with) found in the locker room, Chris and Tammy got blamed for it. Apparently Kimberly Page found the drugs and told the management, who then assumed it was Tammy's. Chris and Tammy then left WCW and went back to the indy scene again.

After WCW, Chris found XPW. Chris talked about working for XPW and how he had some good and bad matches. He then tells a story about how XPW fucked him over. The short version of this story is that XPW was giving him bad checks. Chris didn't know they were bad checks because the bank teller was a fan of his and she just put them through anyway. This then led to Chris getting arrested for robbing a bank! Candido the bank robber! The amount of money was around 10 grand, and what wound up happening was that Chris had to owe the bank 10G's, while XPW folded and didn't reimburse him at all. This is a very interesting story that was never ever told before this shoot interview. This is really deep shit and awful bullshit played by XPW.

Chris then talks about working for MLW and other indy promotions. He tells a story about how Court Bauer dicked him for 500 dollars over a ring. Chris alluded that Court didn't know what the fuck he was doing as a promoter. Chris then talks about a Florida MLW show where he was running around bloody and naked. Chris really holds nothing back when discussing stuff he's embarrassed about.

Chris talks about his time in Puerto Rico. He liked working there, but he realized that the drug scene was really bad and that's why he left, in addition to the money not being so hot.

Candido then talked openly about drugs. He spent a good hour discussing drugs. You really need to see this for yourself. I really don't want to spoil anything or write too much about it, because you need to see it for yourself because Chris talks so openly about it. Chris was addicted to somas, as was Tammy. Chris talked about how he got a heart attack and how Tammy had a brief scare with death as well because of the drugs. Chris did close the interview with saying he's been clean since January 2004.

Chris tells a story about Mike Sparta, and how Mike Sparta tried paying him in drugs. Pritchard then destroyed Sparta in a promo for offering to pay Chris in drugs. The next time Chris went back, Pritchard wasn't there. Sparta offered to pay Candido in drugs again. Candido told Sparta he was straight now and wanted money. Sparta then called Pritchard to tell Pritchard that Chris is really clean and didn't accept the bait.

Chris says he is 100% clean and knows that some people might not believe him. He says no one really knows the truth but him and he says he is clean but there is no way for you (the viewer) to actually know. Candido talks about his meeting with JR and his shots in OVW in 2004. Candido says that he told JR he is clean, and JR said how do I know you're not lying? Candido told JR there is no way for you to 100% know, but I can prove it to you. One of the reasons Chris is doing TNA now, is to prove he is clean. If he doesn't fuck up there, there is a chance the WWE will rehire him.

Chris talks about NWA TNA. He says Jerry Jarrett put him over. He says he loves working there and that everyone is really cool. He enjoys the competition there. Candido talks about how he was eating with Kevin Nash, Konnan and the 1-2-3 Kid and how he felt that he was at a Narcotics Annonymous meeting. He said it's good to talk about the past so you don't forget your mistakes.

Chris then talked about the indies. He said he likes working for USA Pro. He talked about a great match he had with Mike Kruel. He also put over IWA MS. He says there are alot of good guys he's had matches with, like AJ Styles, Jimmy Jacobs and more. Chris however said, that the indies suck. I totally agree when Chris described how there were kids who don't look like wrestlers on shows. He said it sucks and it hurts wrestlings credibility.

Chris closes this interview by letting everyone know where Tammy works now. She isn't an airline stewardness, due to the fact that airlines aren't hiring. She's working somewhere local in NJ, but to find out where she's working for all you stalkers out there, you'll have to watch the tape!

My favorite story on this shoot interview is when Chris and Scott Hall were on a train together. Both of them had heat, stemming from Scott being a dick to Chris in the WWF, and Chris kicking Scott Hall out of an ECW show. When they sat together, Scott Hall told Chris, "They put the fuck ups together." Scott then looked at Chris and said why are you such a dick to me? Chris then told Scott that Scott was a dick to him in WWF. Scott then replied, "Well, I knew it was one of us." It seems that Chris bonded with Scott that day and that they are cool now.

Chris talks about a whole lot more in this shoot, as this review barely scratches the surface of this 270 minute shoot interview. One story to look for is when Chris, Tammy and the Sandman went to Texas.

Final McWord
It sounds cliche, but Chris Candido really held nothing back. He was candid(o) when talking about everything. He tells great stories and talks about every little detail of every story. He has no problem speaking his mind on any subject. His mind is also in perfect shape, despite all the drugs, and he remembers everything. He does talk about some drug/drunk black out moments, but he knows what was going on and tells you everything. You will laugh your ass off watching this shoot, and you will also applaud Chris and how he came back from a drug filled life into a clean life.

Every moment of Chris's career is discussed in this shoot. RF Video is going to have to wait 2-3 years if they ever want to do another one, because Chris talked about everything in this shoot from Eric Bischoff (and how Bischoff screwed him) to Eric Simms.

Chris talks about all the major feds, all the major indy feds and some of the crappy indy feds. Alot of stories are told and alot of names are discussed. This is really one of the best, and definitely one of the top 5 shoot interviews I've ever seen.

Overall-
Highly recommended. I'd even pick this shoot up over the Sabu one if you have limited funds.
