McRoss Report
Greetings from the man under the 5 Gallon Heineken bottle.-
USA Pro wrestling took place last night and man what a barn burner. This McOkie was pounding beer all night, and made a good show more enjoyable. Just some quick McNotes:
Dan Barry’s new finisher, the bodyslam moonsault will now be known as “The Irish Car Bomb.” Speaking of Irish Car Bombs I will be right back….
…
….
…..
…..
Thank you Dan Barry for reminding me about Irish Car Bombs. There’s nothing like the sweet and smooth taste of Jameson Whiskey, Baileys Irish Crème and Guiness. Actually I’ll be right back again.
…..
…..
….
Speaking of Dan Barry, himself, Reefer, Deranged, Johnny Ova, in my opinion are the top 4 cruiserweights in indy wrestling today. I don’t like to classify them as cruiserweights though, as these guys are great wrestlers and can have a good match with Trekkie if they wanted to.
Big shout out to the DOI wack pack who made last nights show more enjoyable.
JC The Damager made an interesting point on the DOI board about the Billy Reil/Josh Deely match, check out the #2nd Most World Famous message board, by clicking message board on the DOI site.
The Masked Maniac might run into a PIT STOP soon, by a certain Fat Bastard.
Speaking of the Masked Maniac, he was in true form last night, and had the McDrunk cracking up during his whole segment. I don’t watch tapes often, but I would go back and re-watch that segment, as well as the Reefer/Deranged, and Barry/Azraiel/Smoked Out match, so if anyone has it, drop me an email. Poor Ms. Sinful and Josh Deely.
A hotdog also was forced into a mans’ buttocks last nite, way too easily by the Masked Maniac. And what is the Masked Maniac’s fetish with male nudity? Stick to the microphone, not the wrestling, and I’m sold.
Where were Joel Grayson and Marc Adler from the DOI staff last night? According to this McOkie, Joel was taking hair grooming tips from a certain member of X-factor, and Marc was hanging out with the master of the 5 count.
Thank you to Brian Myers for organizing and selling some DOI’s last night, considering that we didn’t have a table.
I have talked to a certain 5 foota, who is an editor, and it is confirmed, that at the next USA Pro show, June 27th in the Elks Lodge, that the DOI will have Issue 6 and Issue 7 on sale. Also look for more DOI CD’s and the official onsale debut of DRS, Deranged, Grim Reefer, Low Life Louie and DOI T-shirts. To order a shirt, email declaration_of_independents@hotmail.com to reserve your size.
Johnny Bravado earned a lot of respect last night. His match with the King of Hardcore was brutal, and it’s a wonder that either of them are walking.
Will Danny Demanto be walking after June 27th? Not if Louie can say anything about it.
JAPW has cancelled the June 6th and rescheduled the June 28th show for July 26th. The June 6th was cancelled due to poor advance ticket sales. Kudos to Fat Frank for being honest and not making up a story such as a SARS outburst or something in the area. The 26th show will be in the Center Circle in Rahway, NJ and more info is available at japw.net. I will definitely be there with the DOI, and it will be a great show, in a solid ass building.
Speaking of JAPW, JAPW runs on June 7th in Trenton, NJ. The line up is fucking solid, and looks like another masterpiece by JAPW. I unfortunately won’t be able to make it, but if you’re in the area and looking for good wrestling, check it out.
June 7th is also the date of the next NYWC show. NYWC is only 10 minutes from my house, and the DOI Wack Pack and myself will be tailgating around 4:30 or so. Don’t call the cops! NYWC has a solid line up too, and even though attendances are down, due to the wrestling down period, it’s great when you’re biggest problem is if you should check out a great Jersey show or a great New York show.
Speaking of NYWC, will Dickie Rodz ever lose that title? He’s got great ring work, but not one of his world title defenses have looked believable. Here’s to Issue 7 coverboy, Livewyre for taking the belt! Also while in the complaint dept. break up Wayne and Trekkie! Wayne is too good and can make an impact in the ULTRA hot Cruiser division with Barry/Ova/Reefer/Burma.
The Blackhearts rule. Call them up at 1 718 707 1122! Not for the weak stomached!
JCW runs on June 8th with another solid line up. Homicide vs CM Punk should be incredible. Will you people start going to this promotion? Last show had barely a 100, and featured some great wrestling. Check it out at jcwwrestling.com
There will be many interviews coming to the website soon, with a lot of big names. Keep checking the main page for all the info and scoops.
I love cheap plugs, as pointed out by Sean from the JAPW message board.
DOI Issue 6 is on sale now, and features interviews with Billy Reil, Jonah, Jasmin St. Claire and the Solution. Also look for the McRankings and more. You can order a copy by sending an email to declaration_of_independents@hotmail.com
Issue 7 will feature McRankings, a special Deranged shoot interview and a big interview with the next OVW star, Livewyre. It will be a great issue.
While on the topic of issues, the DOI 250 will be reality. The feedback for an issue was overwhelming. The 250 is in it’s preliminary stages, as we are shopping it around for the lowest cost to make, to provide you the lowest cost to purchase it. Hell if you know any adverstisers email me! We can use any!
Special release from my pals over from the Blackheart hotline:
CHARITY BBQ (MAGIC) RESCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY JUNE 8TH
I want to first thank everyone who were involved in the original BBQ that was scheduled for Memorial Day. We all know by now, that "Mother Nature" didn't cooperate and the BBQ was rained out. Despite this, close to 50 showed up on Memorial Day (Wrestlers & Fans), as well as the DOI staff.
Even though I had the utmost respect who did turn out in horrible weather, as a charity BBQ, it was a disaster. Myself, the DOI, fans, and many wrestlers felt that we were cheated on what we came out to do: Get together, eat, drink, play games, have fun, and unite as a family to raise money for the wife of Magic. Therefore, we have decided to get together and run this Barbecue once again! Below is the information on this event, along with directions and contact information.
For any wrestling fan who enjoys the Indy Wrestling Scene, especially here on the East Coast, are invited to a Charity Barbecue. East Coast Wrestling Stars, Wrestling Personalities, fans and friends alike will be taking part. Eat some food, play some games, hang with the talent, and most important - help a worthy cause.

Walk 2 more blocks to the GCP Service Road, walk over the overpass and you are there. We will be posting a phone number Saturday morning on the websites for anyone that may need additional help.
=======================================
We are holding this barbecue because the wife of Magic, (from The Shaolin Wrecking Crew) has been diagnosed with Cancer. In addition, Magic and his wife do not have any medical insurance.
None of us involved are doing this to earn our "Good Deed of the Day" honors. We are doing this to help a friend. And the proceeds from this event will go towards her medical bills.
There will be plenty of food and beverages on hand. However, If you prefer to bring your own coolers of food & beverage for yourself, that's fine. We will be raffling off some wrestling items as well, so you might want to bring some extra $$$ to buy some raffles.
For everyone over 21, you can participate in a drinking contest! For everyone physically fit or not, we are also having a softball game, WRESTLERS vs FANS!
Here's the list of names that are participating for this worthy cause. We are adding additional names to this list every day. So, keep visiting Wrestling-News.com and DeclarationOfIndependents.net each day or updated names and info on the BBQ.

Jac Sabboth owner of ICW, and Frank Goodman owner of USA Pro Wrestling donated items with the proceeds going to Magic.
Many fans, along with members from various websites, and management from some of the local Feds, will be onhand as well.
If you have any questions, please email me blackheartsny@aol.com. Any additional wrestlers/personalities that would like to attend, or if you want to donate anything for the event, please email me as well.
To say it bluntly, it really sucks to have anyone be diagnosed with cancer. Let's turn this into a positive as much as possible, and get together and help him and his wife out.

I’ll be honest, I wish it wasn’t running head to head with JCW. I am not sure where I’m going, but all I know is that I will be drunk when it’s all said and done!
Gotta love people who feel the need to talk about you to other people. Doesn’t anyone settle their problems man to man anymore, or do they need forums to do it? I guess not all middle aged men are mature.
Tim Arson is finally getting a push. About time.
USA Pro owns NY, but who owns NJ? I gotta say JAPW with JCW not too far behind.
Wayne gets better every time as well as Chris Idol.
IHPW.com check it out, they had a solid show this past Friday, and featured a 5 star match between Reckless and Homicide and a solid bout between Eckos/Lethal/Daniels.
What promotion will own the summer? Time will tell.
Can you imagine Skinhead Ivan in a gospel church? Well maybe Jason X can!
Set your calendars. THE DOI will be doing something on July 4th, whether it be a beer fishing trip, a softball game or another bbq. Either way it will be a fun event.
Look for major interviews in the upcoming weeks only on the DOI.
Becks rules.
Attention promoters. Want to have good tag team that can work solid? Here is the best tag team you never heard of: The Nelsons, who are currently the IHPW Tag Team Champions.
Does anyone notice the glaring resemblance between Monsta Mack and Metal Maniac? Yea, neither did I, but Jason X. Lawrence does. Dickhead lol.
I still don’t like haters!
Speaking of haters, the man who has a lot, Jac Sabboth, will be doing an interview for the DOI very shortly. Look for it soon.
Who sucks a Dexter Weiner? Ask Fat Bastard.
Speaking of Dexter Weiner, he might be one of the funnier people around.
What is up with Triple A’s IRS look? A gray suit is not your style! Stick with the flannels!
Taco Bell + 15 beers + 3 AM = Plunger
Sorry for not updating the weekly McRankings, I have been focusing on more interviews, reviews and McRoss Reports. The McRankings will always be a DOI monthly feature, and is the basis of the DOI 250.
I like Josh Deely as a person, but not his ringwork.
The hospital in Franklin Square is very close to the Firehouse!
The Masked Maniac didn’t call me out, like he said he would in his Maniac Minute, I knew he was afraid of all the DOI-ites. But seriously, that Josh/Sinful/Maniac thing was pure stand up hilarity.
Pat Gunner needs to be booked in other promotions too. This guy is tall and has a great look and can work and can dominate any promotion.
Does 1 empty chair have one empty head? According to some sources, MT does.
How much Knightlife can be on a USA show? 2 hours worth it seemed, by this McOkies stopwatch. Like I said in the review, I like all these guys ring work, but it seems like they are doing 6 shows worth of angles in one show.
Even though my DOI salary is paid in foodstamps, you couldn't ask for a better boss than Mike Zevon. This McOkie also appreciated with one of the best staffed newsletters with Wizard of Buns, The Euro Champ and the CM Punk Mark lol.
Hey Lazaro, does college suck as much as it does for me? Well at least I’m taking bowling this semester lol.
The DOI 250 will be a hard thing to compile as there is a lot of talent that can all be in the top 10, but only 10 can get in.
I can’t promote something I don’t know about on the website, so for all promoters, send me your plugs, and the McCheapPluginator will put it up.
3PW has another stacked show for the 21st out in philly. Sabu/Wolfe/Funk for the World belt. Check out the details at 3pwrestling.com
Attention Lawler and indy fans, SSCW has a major show packed with great matches on the 21st also. Check it out at sscwwrestling.com
Who will be the next big star to come out of NY/NJ? The list is endless.
Striker is a funny guy, and I am still shocked with his 31 second win over Monsta Mack, via the snapmare, in a match in Rio De Janerio, Brazil. (The same place where Pat Patterson won the IC title)
The MiC is full of ideas. Aside from the DOI 250 issue, would people pay 6 bucks for a DOI Diva issue? Let me know.
That does it for this time, and look for a Dan Barry, Jac Sabboth, former WWE/WCW star Jim Powers among others, interviews on the site.
Thanks for reading!
