What’s up lads and lassies and welcome to another McRoss Report. I got a few topics to touch so it will be as short as Mike Zevon, but away we go.

June looks to be an interesting month as a lot of promotions are running shows. Some key shows to check out would be 6/6 JAP, 6/7 NYWC, 6/13 PWA, 6/14 CZW, 6/21 SSCW and 3PW 6/27 USA PRO 6/28 JAP. I don’t know the JCW dates, but I am pretty sure they are running two shows, most likely on a Sunday. Don’t forget to all you PA fans, that WXW will be running weekly shows as well. There’s a rumor about Papadon and candy canes with a certain wrestler, but it’s just a rumor. Once I find out the info I will release it here.

Another rumor floating around, about another tag team wrestler, is that EC Negro has camel toe. I have not seen conclusive proof about this one though.

The elks lodge always provides entertainment. I think a promoter could book the elks lodge and have no wrestling ring there, and I’d still have a great time, providing beer was available.

Speaking of beer and good times, the DOI BBQ is Monday, May 26th. Check the main page for all the details or contact declaration_of_independents@hotmail.com for all the info and to see the plethora of wrestlers/talents who are appearing.

Low Life Louie is one of the nicest guys in the business and is my biggest fear/opposition going into the DOI drinking contest.

There’s been talk of an ultimate surprise in the NY/NJ area.

Big shout out to The Wizard of Buns aka Archy Ballz aka Joel Grayons aka whatever he’s going by these days. The best pure writer for the DOI bailed The MiC out of a great situation. Also props to Owen Grayson, aka Wizard of Buns Sr.

There’s been talks about the Masked Maniac embarrassing The MiC at the next USA show. Could Billy Reil make a save that would never be forgotten? Find out at the next USA show.

Livewyre vs Dickie Rodz headlines what looks like to be another solid show on paper for NYWC. They’ve had 3 solid shows on paper that translated to 3 solid shows in reality. I think they will go 4/4 on June 7th. Come early and tailgate with myself and members of the Mike Zevon dubbed, “DOI Wack Pack.”

Booking to the internet never works. You must put flyers out to draw more than people online.

Speaking of booking to the area, I was coming home from a show almost 200 miles from my house in PA. I went to a rest stop to take a McPiss, and what did I see, a flyer for JAP wrestling. Kudos to Fat Frank to being one of the most hard working promoters today. JAP runs a show that looks mighty stellar on 6/6 in Sciota, PA, then runs again 6/7 in Trenton, NJ and closes the month off in Woodbridge on 6/28. JAP has been having solid shows, and I urge everyone to go.

Speaking of great NJ promotions, JCW has been running shows consistently for what seems once every 20 days or less. They have a major show coming up May 24th, featuring Montoya/Money, Darling/Mafia and Ova/Lethal.

Wizard of Brain is a huge Scampi mark. He’s been quoted as saying, “The Yankees rule and the Mets are just scampi.” More on the mysterious Brain Wizard as info becomes available.

Bison vs Louie and Balls vs Justin Credible headlines another star studded USA show May 31st in Long Island. Check it out.

SSCW has not been written off as has been rumored. In fact after getting off the phone with the one Carmine Sabia, SSCW plans on having a blow away show in June. Check out more at http://www.sscwwrestling.com

Speaking of which, CSWF has been making major moves in putting talent together and putting on a hell of a show on July 12th. The talent that is signed is incredible, and once it’s official, check it here, as it will be up.

Big ups to Eddie Guapo, who besides being a good wrestler, has been a hell of a guy and has been helping out the DOI. Your help is much appreciated, but you won’t be able to touch The MiC in the DOI BBQ drinking contest.

What has Josh Deely been up to? I would like to see a best of tape, commentated by another wrestler who happens to be one of the brightest stars today.

Marc Adler update: The apt was actually cleaner last time I was there. I still saw some old beer cans from my last visit, which means I guess I should clean up my beer bottles from the Motostapler.

I need to see Tommy Trouble wrestle.

I am writing this on Judgment Day. It is my judgment that no one should watch this shit, unless you have a hotbox.

The Solution? DRS? Briscoes? SWC? AMIL? Rednecks from Hell? Who is the best indy tag team? This question might be answered in the future.

A lot of people have been emailing me, on asking where can I train to become a wrestler. The answer is simple, the USA training center on the days that Homicide works. Homicide’s students read as who’s who list of wrestling from Low Ki to Deranged to Reefer to DRS to Masked Maniac.

Wait ….one of those guys didn’t get trained by Homicide, you figure out which one.

There’s a certain ring agent that gets a lot of unnecessary heat.

I don’t understand why people burn briges. I do understand why Zevon burns paper. It’s for his lung exercise!

Alexis Laree might be the best womens wrestler right now. Could April Hunter see differently? A match between those two would be great.

Fat Bastard is looking to train. Good luck to him and the DOI is rooting for you.

Dexter Weiner is a funny guy. So is Deranged. Chatting with Dexter and Deranged at the last ICW show was a treat and I had a great time talking to both.

In closing this short report, congratulations to Slingblade Carl, who is getting married today. (Sunday) For all our message board shenanigans, Carl is still a good guy. Now if he can get his revenge on the bottom ring rope…… and wait JASON KIDD Hits a shot with 1.2 on the clock for the WIN!!!!!! JASON KIDD IS GOD!!!!
