"Swap Meet" from Bleach, by Nirvana
And we're only 3 weeks away from the 10 year anniversary...

What up all you DOIites and welcome to another scintillating edition of the McRoss Report. The above is a prelude to a non wrestling column on the DOI site, as I will try to illustrate why Nirvana and more specifically, Kurt Cobain, changed the music world forever. (Come on there are other things besides wrestling) But, that's for a different day, so let's go to the infamous McRoss Report.

From the man underneath the 5 Gallon Heineken bottle.

I write this three days after St. Patrick's Day, and let me say what a day it was. The day started off at exactly 12:01 AM at Fibber McGees. After ending round 1 at around 4:30 AM or so, it was back for round 2 around 11:00 AM. After a few more rounds, all I know is that there is no better beer than Guiness. And I know KC Blade can attest to that.

Speaking of KC Blade, I just got off the phone with that dirty rotten scoundrel and I'm happy to inform everyone that his recent bout with food poisoning, which hospitalized him, is behind him. He's now a healthy scoundrel, from a digestive system end. Unfortunately, Blade is still feeling the effects of a stinger he suffered on 2/28. He hopes to be back soon and not miss any bookings. Personally, I hope Blade takes it easy, as he is one to be the first to take a beating. No one wants to see him get reinjured. The Scoundrelz, who had a cooling off period at the end of 2003, looked to be coming back strong in early 2004 by entering the CZW and WXW tag ranks. I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure rushing back into the ring prematurely could hurt more then it could help Blade's neck. A hurt Blade is not a Blade we want to see. You can send all your support to KC Blade at: KCBlade@dirtyrottenscoundrelz.net

\\// - Can't wait. He's coming back soon from Florida...

I'm happy to report that the Bear has gone back to its old roots and is fucking filthy. DOI Strip Club Reviews is a section I hope to make happen soon if Havok, Bison the Gook, Ray Sager and others will contribute!

Speaking of The Bear, I recieved the following email from Baxter Cross, after the last McRoss Report:
First off...right on with the bear (bare necessities)
it was funny that it burnt down and even funnier how the jerk off that did it got caught.
anyway...dirtiest i went to was "stone hedge" out in farmingdale.
swear the place has sawdust on the floor...i got trashed and my friends bought me a lap dance with the most attractive woman in there (which is like saying my turd is less lumpy then everyone elses) she was horrible to say the least and the worst part was (right after seeing the c-section scar) was her saying to me that she should be good cuz she been doing it for 20 years!!!
after that we realized we locked the keys in the car and had to wait there for my friends g/f to come and bring the spare set.
it was... in a word....tremendous
and as for the bear...you dont have many local options
that i know about unless u wanna go to baldwin to gq where it costs
the earth just to see a pair of tittes...but thats another story all together
- Baxter Cross
Well there you go folks. If people want to keep adding these stories, email them in, as people always love to read shit like this.

Ok some wrestling stuff.

USA Pro (www.usaprowrestling.net) looks to be putting on the mother of all cards at Club Amazura on May 14th. Announced (which means could be happening) matches are:
Teddy Hart vs Low Ki
Shane Douglas vs Raven in a Cage
SAT vs Simon/Striker
Sabu vs Homicide
Jack Evans vs The Amazing Red
Deranged vs Sonjay Dutt
Low Life Louie vs Reefer

With those 7 matches alone, there isn't any need to give anything else. Those 7 matches will be fucking off the hook, and I'm looking forward to it. Of course USA Pro will have alot more wrestlers on the bill, and alot more matches, giving you the most bang for your buck. With the show inside an actual nightclub, come experience USA Pro, which has been called the nightclub of wrestling.
As far as Jamiaca, which is rumored to be a shitty area, well it's 1/2 true. I mean there are fried chicken places all over the place, which is usually the sign of a ghetto. Fortunately, the building is only 2 short blocks away from the LIRR and 2 short blocks away from the subway. (E, J, Z lines). As far as driving, USA Pro has mentioned there will be some sort of a valet parking service. If you don't mind Jac Sabboth and Danny Demanto parking your cars, then go for it lol. More on USA Pro as we approach the date.

While on Jac and Demanto, at any given time, you might see a shoot fight between these two at The Wrestling Universe, located at 221-24 Horace Harding Expressway, in Bayside, Queens. (www.icwzone.com) Drinking alot of beer while watching these two tussle is a shitload of fun, and a great way to blow off class. I've been at Jac's store more than I have in my Media 145 class this semester!
Oh, and I'm in the beginning stages of organizing the first ever DOI Saved By the Bell tournament. First two people to sign up are Danny Demanto and El Shoes. If you think you know all about SBTB, and want to win a $1.49 gift certificate to the Wrestling Universe, email me for details. (Hey it's been a slow week lol)

Would an indy wrestling hall of fame work?

The DOI 250 is only 2 months away, and there is a bigger pool of talent to chose from than last year. Who will make the biggest jump in the standings from last year? Who will take the biggest hit in the standings? Who will and won't be ranked? Well the DOI knows these answers, and you will too in 2 months! Preorder today!

It's late Friday night as I write this, so for anyone who is waking up to this drivel on Saturday morning, make sure to support NYWC, as they return to the Deer Park Community Center. Check out their site at www.nywcwrestling.com. NYWC has made leaps and bounds in the first year of its existence and in my opinion, is the OVW of the east coast. I'd love to see NYWC vs WXW, as both places produce quality talent. If I am a scout looking for talent, WXW and NYWC would be the first places I'd be at.

Speaking of WXW, fuck you Cross Bronx Parkway. What normally is a 2 hour drive is turning hectic due to these morons who drive at 5 mph. Still, it's worth the drive, as WXW has been having quality show after quality show. Check them at www.wxwwrestling.com

Ring of Honor returned on 3/13. They returned quite successfully, I may add. Alot of people are still questioning RF's involvement - promoters, wrestlers, fans, and cross eyed idiots alike, but you still have to realize that it takes time to clear and tie up everything 100% after the RF fiasco. It's not just snapping your fingers. It takes time to do everything correctly, and the current ROH staff didn't ask, nor ever have this situation sprung up on them, so I do believe people should give them slack before jumping on their case. Call me a cock sucker or whatever, but I have always been about promoting indy wrestling and wrestling in general. I try not to be pessimistic like most internet guys with a website, and I think the haters who are spending too much time writing articles after articles and post after post, need to give ROH sometime, then start with their writings. No one on the ROH team, no one who has a conscience and no one on the DOI agrees with RF's actions. It seems that people are just trying to make more of an issue then that is there. Alot of people questioned not peppering Gabe with RF questions in the interview I just did, so that is my answer to them. It's Ring of Honor, not Ring of Feinstein. I am just annoyed about reading about it, and it is getting played out by now. RF is out, stuff to fix everything is in motion. Let's talk about something positive for a change.

Speaking of positive, a name that you wouldn't normally see in the same sentence with positive is Billy Reil. That's not a knock at Reil, it's just a reaction to some of his antics in the ring. Billy Reil recently stopped another bank robbery, and is being honored in his home town of Philly. Unfortunately, no one in the major media, outside of Philly, picked this story up. Alot of people in the media however, did write about steroids in wrestling, in an attempt to bad mouth Wrestlemania this past Sunday. Negativity sells, it's a proven fact. To Mr. Reil- your actions didn't go unnoticed by the DOI. Say what you want about the man in the wrestling world, but Billy Reil is a stand up guy, and I'm glad he's part of the DOI on a guest star basis.

Also while on the subject of Billy Reil, I recently recieved my 2/14 USA Pro Wrestling tape, which you can get from Sabboth the Stiffer (Sorry Jac, I always just crack up when I see that name) at ICWZone.com or from Tonya at TCTapes.net, and you can hear myself and Reil call the Reefer-Louie match, and see Reil get arrested. After watching the tape, I am 100% convinced that Dexter Weiner is the best play by play man in indy wrestling that you haven't heard yet. The guy knows his shit. I've heard alot of commentary recently from watching tapes, and while I do think Clemson-Da Bald Guy is the best duo, Dexter and myself made a splash. (More because Dexter could put up with the drunken ramblings) For any indy promoter looking for someone to call their shows, I'd give the Weinerman a try, as I do think some commentators are boring and dry, while Dexter adds to it.
FUCK WRETCH! That guy is garbage! Haha!

Could Briana Bryans be the next big diva to hit the indy circuit? Her website will launch soon, and check for a DOI interview in upcoming days! Just don't block her ims lol.

I have a question. Is Nick Knowledge part of anything in wrestling any more or is he just the number 1 anti CM Punk fan? Please explain.

I'm proud to have Adam Dolan's writings on these sites, as he contributes alot to the DOI's success.

Is there a want ad out for someone looking to bring in a soon to be homeless man who eats soup all day? The Chris Benoit doorbell ring might be coming to an end. The cutting school sanctuary might be taken away from some cunt in Forest Hills.

What is with Carmine Sabia? The guy is the most schizophrenic guy in indy wrestling. Go ahead, sue me for that too. How can you make threats to sue a message board? I hope one day someone can convince/remind/tell Carmine that SSCW is just an indy company that doesn't make much of a profit. I really had to laugh when I heard he wanted to sue the DOI Message board because of bad posts. When you threaten to sue someone, it doesn't want to make them take down every post, because no one wants to satisfy an agrophobiac bully. If you could sue message boards, the USA Pro board would be paying millions of dollars a day to people! Some people just need to realize a message board is a tool to promote indy wrestling, with some silliness involved. I have suffered some bashing on the USA board as well as the DOI board, and I have not threatened to sue anyone. I've also recieved praise on both boards, and like the hook nosed jew Goodman says, you gotta take the good with the bad. I mean what's next? I review a show, say I didn't like it, and Johnny Cochran sends me a subpeona? Blah to these bigheaded indy promoters who waste more time with bullshit than promoting.

New Jersey has been a hotbed recently for wrestling. With Carmine's SSCW, JCW, CSWF, and JAP are considered the major players. The smaller NJ promotions like AWA have also been making good moves as of late. Check out the DOI calender for more on these shows, or check out the press release section to find out more.

While on the topic of NJ feds, here is my thoughts on a few of the name feds:
JAPW- I consider JAPW as the measuring stick for every other fed in NJ. While alot of people may say being the kings of NJ means nothing, it does mean something for the fans, as they might be strapped for cash. (I know I am.) I've been a fan of JAPW for some time now, and it's great to see them doing big things. I also enjoy the after parties too lol. I think JAPW has the best shows in Jersey and has the strongest roster. JAPW creates stars, while other feds book JAPW wrestlers. Oh, and Ray Sager's farts stink tonight. For more on the latest in JAPW land, go to www.japw.net

JCW- I feel that JCW is the number 2 promotion on NJ, and with time, could be number 1. I think they fell down a bit at the end of 2003, but Ricky O and crew have done a fine job rebounding. I am really looking forward to the J-Cup, which is the premier wrestling show in New Jersey. And to the people who emailed me and for the people who posted on the board, I will try to get past J-Cup shows, and review the past J-Cups in order to promote the upcoming J-Cup on June 27. JCW had a period in 2003 where they had the best wrestling shows, but unfortunately, not too many people saw them. I'd recommend anyone to check out these shows and get familiar with JCW. Check out www.jcwwrestling.com for more shit on JCW.

CSWF- A promotion that I honestly considered a fucking joke when I first saw their results and attended their shows. They made me eat my words pretty fast. CSWF has constantly improved show to show. They are the only promotion in this area that has TNA representives watching their every move. While that mean more for workers than fans, it does mean that CSWF has to work hard to impress TNA, which translates into better shows. Their roster is one of a kind in this area and really makes them stand out. I also like how they give indy names matches against bigger time people, as it makes the indy names stand out and improve the product overall. Another good thing about CSWF is that they might be the only fed in the area where they are known for their TNA relationship, instead of the promoter who runs it. The focus is on the talent not the office. More on CSWF at www.cswfol.com

SSCW- I think SSCW can be bigger if Carmine took the focus off of himself and put it on the wrestlers. They are one of the big four promotions in NJ that use way too many ticket sellers. They also have had a string of 2 high attended shows. One thing that SSCW and Carmine is starting to recoginize is that you don't need big names on every show. The addition of Simon Diamond will only strengthen SSCW. SSCW still needs to weed out some of the shit like Mighty Mikey, Vicious Vin, Mr Puerto Rico and others to be taken as seriously as the other promotions, in my opinion. More about Carmine land at www.sscwwrestling.com

AWA- Another fed that I thought was weak originally, has impressed me at their recent show. AWA runs consisently every two weeks. While their wrestlers might not be the best in NJ, a year from now, they may be. I consider AWA to be like NYWC, in the fact that they are loyal to their homegrown guys. I think it's only a matter of time before the letters AWA get thrown around seriously when talking NJ indy wrestling. I do believe that AWA needs to add maybe 2-3 more veterans to tighten the shows, as Damien Dragon and Johnny Thunder really rise the game of the AWA homegrown talents. More on AWA at www.awanj1.com

Oh no... I'm feeling a bit foreklempt. Here's a topic: Is ROH an indy any more? Discuss amongst yourselves...
Sorry Mike Myers moment right there.

Back to NJ:
NWS: A promotion that really doesn't cater to smart fans or your regular WWF fan. It's more for familes and they got that corner of the market all tied up. They run tight shows, but if you're looking for controversy and blow away matches, you usually won't find it at NWS. However, if you're looking for wholesome wrestling, a place where you can take your kid, and a flashback to the old days, NWS is your promotion. They run alot of shows and never seem to cancel. NWS really doesn't get much of a buzz on this site, but that doesn't mean they are not worth checking out. Check them out at www.nwswrestling.com

ECPW: I caught 2 of their shows on tape, but still have yet to go to one of their shows live. They seem to produce alot of the better NJ talent. I haven't been to a show, so I can't really comment on their atomsphere, but I have heard good things about them, and I know fellow DOI family member Adam Dolan says they are pretty decent. More on them at www.ecpw1.com

IWF: Another fed I haven't checked out live, due to because they usually run against another show that I went to. I've seen alot of their talent though. Fred Sampson is going somewhere. Ditto Tommy Trouble. They are another family show, but they do have a good working relationship with the E, and produce quality wrestlers. Gotta check them out. Their site is www.iwfwrestling.com

There are a shitload more of feds in NJ. UWA is coming back soon as well on March 26. There is a rumor that IHPW is coming back soon, by checking out their website at www.ihpw.com. NJ is certainly a great place to live if you love wrestling... and politics.

Next McRoss Report: Examing the promotions in Pennsylvania

I have it confirmed that Doc Daniels will be making his apartment wrestling debut as Doc Daniella. He will be wrestling Scott Matthews in his first match. This is 100% untrue and unconfirmed by Doc Daniels himself!

DOI Radio... Coming soon.

Ralf- I have your magazine! Remind me.

Ref Garry is a hardcore EBW mark.

Reefer give me back my tape you fuck.

What exactly is the G-tickler?

Does Robert Payes ever take any pictures of wrestlers that don't have ovaries?

I still can't believe that Eric Simms laid the smackdown on The Iron Shiek. Even funnier was his hotline with The Masked Maniac at 516 214 8333. I wonder if Manny Fernandez heard it?

Call Low Life Louie's DOI hotline and leave perverted messages at the beep at 718 707 1014

Let's go Knicks!

Does anyone buy sports cards anymore? I got literally thousands of them that I'll sell for alcohol or money. Holla.

Speaking of "holla" Teddy Long makes me piss my pants during Raw. The guy is gold.

Who will be the first indy to book Ron Simmons? Also, Big Bossman is taking indy bookings in the south. Could he be making his way to the north soon?

The Northeast is the spot to be if you're a wrestler. Read the internet. Read magazines. Listen to word of mouth. The northeast is where it's at, and I'm glad I'm here. Close second: Florida and Texas.

Oh and to that cross eyed moron from that other site: I'm not Jimmy Hoffa, even though the master of wizardy, Joel Grayson calls me the Jimmy Hoffa of DOI. Get off my tip already you retard.

WEFEWEEEEEEEEEEEE WIMMMY WAMES!!!!!!!!!!!
That had to pop somebody out there.

Where is Topenga these days?

Open Invitation:
Deer Park Community Center
Saturday, March 20
Time: I don't know usually before NYWC
Event: The DOI tailgate NYWC preshow.
Make sure to bring garbage cans, don't pollute the place with your empties cough Fat Bastard.

Oh, and make sure to check out NYWC, it promises to be another hot night of accione!

Also this weekend are shows from ECPW and ACW. Both look to have decent lineups.

With the crappy Ranger season, I can't wait for baseball to start so I can start talking some shit!

That's it for this week- check out the DOI Message Board for all that fun crap, and don't sue us!
Keep checking site for more reviews, interviews and news that you just can't refuse. Oh yea.
