McRoss Report

Are you ready?
Ain't it funny how time flies, huh?
Out of sight, out of mind (yeah right)
Once again back it's the incredible
Subliminal the infredible
Once down in the dirt,
Now I ain't even gotta shave
When I'm goin to work
Aight, looks like I'm drinkin tonight,
Tomorrow I'll be sippin' on some pedialite (c'mon)
Rock, rock to the planet rock, don't stop (c'mon)
Ain't it funny how time flies, huh?
Chit chatter, that shit don't matter
Check the flow, I organically grow,
Like the weed I for sheezy, be letting ya know
Ooh... yeah, kinda feelin' horny,
Who that is? what it say? what it look like?
"20 eyes in my head" misfit,
And I ain't never gonna change. (c'mon)
... .don't think you know
What the hell I'm all about
(phenomenon, something like a phenomenon)
... .don't think you got
My shit all figured out
(phenomenon, something like a phenomenon)
I'm a make ya bounce ba bounce
Ma ma ma move ma move
Ba ba ba break you off
A little somethin' like this
Ok chaps, let's take it from the top, go
All you hollywood rockstars
Hollywood ass, wishin' you had big cash
Rollin' like your pimpin'
But you aint really got shit goin'
' cuz you ain't limpin' like the bizkit
You're just sittin' on the sidelines
You just fake kid, if there's a title then I'll take it
Who-yah hit ya with the boo-yah..
And I ain't fuckin' playin' around

What up DOImaniacs and welcome to another installment of the McRoss Report. I know I haven't been updating the McRoss Report as much as I used to, but with everything else going on, it is hard to pound a column like this all the time. Anyway, I figure the less of them around, the better they are anyway, as I'm not scrouring around for material. Well there has been alot of developments and news of interest floating around, so let me end this introductory paragraph.

Greetings from the man underneath the 5 Gallon Heineken bottle.

One of the bigger stories out of this weekend was Kevin Matthews calling out Carmine Sabia and pissing on the SSCW TV title at JCW's "Reborn" show. Being around the story and hearing all sides of the story, I feel like I can give you the truth about what happened, and what led to it happening and give you all sides of the story.

Personally, working for SSCW for a period of time, I always thought Kevin Matthews should of gotten more there. While I don't think Kevin is the greatest wrestler in the world, he was one of SSCW's main guys. Guys like Chino Martinez, Rob Eckos, Damian Adams, Shaolin Wreckin Crew all recieved big pushes for their SSCW loyalty. Kevin Matthews was the same way, and around as much as those guys, except for Chino, who has been in SSCW the longest. Kevin Matthews won the SSCW TV Championship at Ring Rage IV back in March 2003. After winning the belt, SSCW went on an extended hiatus, cancelling 2 shows down the road, before successfully restarting back up in August of 2003. When SSCW came back, Kevin Matthews was brought back on the main roster, but told for no reason at all that the TV Belt was dead. It was something I never considered at the time, I just figured it was because Carmine was promising everything was going to happen for SSCW, such as SSCW Radio, a SSCW hotline, a SSCW Pay Per View, The UWS, and SSCW TV. I guess SSCW TV would never become a reality, so maybe that's Carmine decided to take the belt away.

Fast forward to November of 2003, and we have Danny Demanto vs Kevin Matthews in a loser-leaves- SSCW TLC match. Without blowing up anyone's business, both wrestlers recieved next to nothing in pay, despite killing each other, and Danny Demanto almost becoming a vegetable. It wasn't the best wrestled match on the show, (That would go to Tyler Payne vs John Walters for the Tradition Cup) but Kevin vs Danny was the most electric and exciting match on the show. As a matter of fact, it was so entertaining and electric, Carmine, SSCW fans and myself, gave it nod for SSCW Match of the Year. Now getting ready for the next show, Carmine decides to you know, actually watch the match and the show from November, since he wasn't at the show live. Upon watching it, he hears Kevin Matthews draw large heel heat. Let's not forget that Kevin had a lot of friends there to watch this big match, as did Demanto, as it was supposed to be Demanto's last match in the Jersey area. In the middle of the match, Kevin gets into a verbal battle with a few fans. The fans scream anything they can think of such as "FUCK YOU KEVIN" "YOU FUCKING SUCK DICK!" Personally, I'm not offended by such language but Carmine was. If you're offended by language like that, then maybe promoting wrestling is not the right job for you. Kevin, who willingly admits that he was caught up in the moment, mouths off to the fans heckling him. Kevin says "FUCK YOU! FUCK YOUR MOTHER! AND FUCK YOUR GRANDMOTHER!" Needlessly to say, the hecklers went back at him, drawing even more heat into the match. For someone who wasn't there, you couldn't hear that on the tape, in regards to the crowd noise. Anyway, after seeing this Carmine is infuriated, as is his mother, who saw the tape. For those who don't know Carmine's mother assists SSCW financially and this is not what she wants to see at shows that she helps funds. She was at the show live however, so maybe she didn't see it live or cared at the moment. Anyway, Carmine sees Kevin's verbal tirade, and without even questioning Kevin or giving Kevin a chance to explain himself, Carmine "fires" (No one can get really fired for a company that doesn't have him under contract) Kevin from SSCW.

When Kevin got fired from SSCW, he didn't help himself out, as he cursed Carmine out and went on a bashing spree when Carmine told him. Any chances of reconcilliation was killed right there. Meanwhile, as this was going on, Carmine was getting into a fight with JCW and Ricky O, a company that he was once in an alliance with with the failed UWS. Carmine even stated about JCW that "my barbeque's draw more than JCW." Carmine might have had a few bbq's that drew more than JCW shows, but as a friend, Ricky O didn't take kind to those comments, after hearing them over and over and over again. Carmine lashing out at Ricky O in a recent DOI interview and ignorantly calling himself "The George Steinbrenner" of indy wrestling was the final straw that set up Kevin Matthew's appearance in JCW. Let's not forget that Kevin Matthews and JCW and Ricky O were also in a war of words back in October 2003. It just proves that all bridges are able to be rebuilt in wrestling.

With the same common enemy, Kevin then made his JCW return on February 22nd, with the defunct SSCW Television Title. He laid out the SSCW Heavyweight Champion, after helping him win, then went on a tirade bashing SSCW and Carmine. During intermission of the show, he pissed on the belt and flushed it in a urinal. What happens from now is anyone's guess.

Now that you know everything of what led up to it, what is the aftermath? Who is right? Who is wrong? I personally don't care either way. What I do know, is that it is getting people to talk about JCW and Kevin Matthews, two subjects that people rarely talk about anymore. JCW is back and has an attitude. Kevin Matthews revolted against a promoter who he felt did him wrong. Carmine did go on record to a few promoters and wrestlers that he would get Kevin Matthews fired from NWA TNA, (even though Kevin only does dark matches for them) but after a few phone calls, it was just a made up statement by Carmine.

Carmine, under the guidance of new SSCW employee, Simon Diamond has not said anything, about this incident, for the first time in a while. With Simon now in SSCW, I see great things for SSCW, as you can see the change in Carmine, as usually he would be going off. Despite his TNA sabotage, Carmine can become respected with Simon Diamond heading the ship. Carmine is willing to listen to Simon and that is a great thing for SSCW. Simon Diamon can make Carmine look good if Carmine is willing to listen, which so far, he has. While I don't appreciate Carmine spreading falsehoods about myself to some people, I do hope to see SSCW continue to be successful because I want to see all wrestling succeed. SSCW has a jam packed roster and their upcoming March 27th show look good, and with Simon at the helm, changes will be finally made. No more Vicious Vin, no more Mr. Puerto Rico, no more ticket seller clusters, all things I did preach at the time, but with the SIMON EFFECT (registered trademark) in place, things will finally get done. I personally am looking forward to the next SSCW show, and here's to hoping that SSCW rises to the top.
While I think calling themselves number 2 is absurd at the moment, maybe one day it will become a reality.

I wonder if the SIMON EFFECT (TM) will be get me a free ride in my college classes. As I type this, I have just cut Accounting for the 5th time out of a possible 8 classes. Ah fuck it, Papadon has an accounting background, I'll get that motherfucker to take my tests lol.

Speaking of Papadon, along with his partner Havok, The Solution picked up easily the biggest win of their careers, by defeating former NWA TNA Tag Team Champions, America's Most Wanted. Congratulations to the Solution as they are really starting to break out now, by winning this big match in CSWF and by debuting successfully for World 1.

While on the subject of Havok, for those who don't know, he lives about 5 minutes away from me. Also 5 minutes away is "The Bear". For those who don't know what "The Bear" is, it used to be the most sleaziest, filthiest, dirtiest and most disgusting strip bar/club known to man. You can literally see the HIV in the air.

The Bear passed the "ABCDEF" test. That means:
A- At least one person in that place had AIDS
B- there was at least one girl in that place that was too BIG
C- one of the topics talked about by patrons were CURES for STDs.
D- It was DIRTY
E- The place was ENTERTAINING, meaning you get a laugh at just being in the fucking place.
F- It was just FUCKING FILTHY

Coming home really late from alot of these indy shows, really puts a damper on night life in Long Island. Some places close at 2 AM and there is nothing to do after geting back home. The only thing that is open is The Bear. The Bear stays open to 6 AM, so after getting back to Long Island at 1:30 AM on many nights, The Bear usually gets 2 more customers, in the form of The MiC and Havok.

Recently, The Bear has cleaned itself up. The girls are getting better looking. The beer is starting to taste better. Long gone are the dirty landscapers, drunk custodians and dirtbags offering the girls 20 bucks for anal. In are the college kids, businessmen and bachelor parties. The Bear has went from a 2 to a 10. Myself and Havok, being loyal patrons for some time now, are disgusted with The Bear's changes. We demand our sleaze back. We want to see the less than desirable girls dance while we're drinking so we can laugh at them. We miss leaving The Bear only to find out that the cops were there 20 minutes later to arrest someone for jerking off at the bar. (Usually Papadon lol, just kidding, about the Papadon part.) I mean The Bear was the first strip club/bar that we ever got kicked out of. Apparently, the girls get mad if you tell them their lap dances suck and you want your 20 bucks. They also weren't a fan of calling certain Asian wrestlers a big chink for everyone to hear. In other words, you can act like an animal, like a bear perhaps, at the Bear. The Bear was a place to wild out, get drunk and see some naked bitches. Now The Bear is trying to change it's image and become a "gentlemans club." FUCK THAT!

The reason I am telling you about The Bear is because Havok and myself have had it with The Bear. We want to be around the filth and perverts. We want to hear about people cheating on their wives. We want to hear from the same people who tell us about how they are spending their sons college savings on a 40 year old wrinkly white girl. We want to see hypodermic needles in the garbage can. We want to see aids infested people looking to spread their love. We want to see people make $10 offers for head. We want to hear about cops blowing up that place during one of their 4 AM Raids. We don't want to be around clean cut "gentlemen" eating caviar and smoking Cuban cigars. The purpose of this is for everyone to post on the message board or send me an email and tell me the DIRTIEST Strip Club you have ever been in. I want to hear how bad it was. People can relate to this. Tell me about your times and how appalled and disgusted you were. I got a strong stomach, I can read whatever you write. The best submissions will be reprinted in a future McRoss Report or be on the message board if that's where you post them.

In closing, if anyone knows about any filthy, trashbag, whory, strip club/bar in or near the Long Island area, please email me at BULLSMC@aol.com or post on the message board. If it passes the ABCDEF test, then you'll read about it here on the DOI. Shit maybe we'll start doing DOI Strip Club reviews to go with DOI restaurant reviews.

Speaking of DOI Restaurant Reviews, that section has been lacking, so send in your Restaurant reviews. Everyone goes on the road and wants to hear about your time there, especially if it sucks.

I was at The Ultimate Cards and Comics Store today, which is run by Mr. Jac Sabboth. El Shoes was there as well. The biggest thing to come out of all this? Look for an El Shoes interview as well as the second Jac Sabboth interview on this site. Jac has lots of good ideas and it's always great to talk to him and see what's going on with him. I also picked up a bunch of tapes that I will be doing tape reviews on whenever I get some free time as well. Jac also got a shitload of new tapes including alot of CZW and ROH stuff as well as his normal stuff such as UCW and USA Pro. He also has the last elks lodge show, "End of an Era" as well as NYWC's "Pyscho Circus." He is also getting the last USA Pro show from Bethpage soon, so check it out. Go to www.icwzone.com to buy them online, or go to :
221-24 Horace Harding Expwy
Queens, NY 11364
Please, don't throw any pigeons in the store. You can also call him up for tapes with delivery at:
(718) 631-1518
Let's not also forget he's bootlegging figures now too! (Told you I'd get that online somehow lol)

I don't know about you people reading this, but I'm a fan of old school TV. I'm talking about obscure TV shows. I'm a fan of shows that used to run on Nicklodeon back in the day like "HEY DUDE" and "SALUTE YOUR SHORTS" as well as shows like "ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?" Yes these shows were all corny, but they were mad funny to watch growing up. I was also a huge "Boy Meets World" fan as well, for obvious (Topenga) reasons. Not to mention that Mr. Feeny was a bad ass too. Well recently I ran across a site that not only recaps the shows, but tells you everything about them! Check out http://www.tvtome.com/ and type in your favorite show growing up under the search button. It's amazing what's there.

For all my Boy Meets World fans out there, BMW is on the Disney channel every night at 2 AM. Topenga always looked hot even as an 8th grader. Oh shut up, I know you're checking her out too. Reading that TV To Me website is great and it got alot of information about everything that came from that show. It also got good shit about classics like Saved By The Bell, City Guys and Hang time. This is quality crap right here! For the direct link to Boy Meets World go to: http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/EpisodeGuideServlet/showid-158/

Man I'm mad corny. Instead of doing a 10 page college paper, I'm writing about Boy Meets World lol.

I heard The USA PRO Hotline at 516-214-8333, and heard Mr. Maniac and Mr. Candido talk about such topics as cross eyed writers bashing USA Pro. I don't understand how someone can bash something they never saw. If you went to the last USA Pro show and bashed it, then fine, you were there and you saw it live. By making up things and being a dickhead just because you're mad at the world and at USA Pro for no reason at all is lame. In the end, I guess he wouldn't be able to see it anyway if he went, with the cross eyes and all.
There you go Maniac, another shot for the war lol.

CSWF and JCW had a great weekend. Congratulations to both of these promotions on drawing great crowds. It seems that indy wrestling is slowly but surely becoming popular, and it was good to see lively crowds. CSWF is doing good things over there, but still need to weed out some shit. JCW has been around for a long time, and no matter what you say about Ricky O (myself included), he has proven time and time again that he and JCW can get it done.

I just heard the USA Pro hotline, and it looks like Chris Candido might be the Urinator! I thought it was Kevin Matthews?

Check out the main page for columns from Billy Reil and Matt Da Angry Young Man. Good reads from both.

The DOI Message board has been rehauled after problems with proboards, who was our previous server. Many days would go with the board not working and having slow load times, and the board would also delete posts randomly. The new message board will prevent these problems. Please register today, even if you have to register a fake name, as it helps our cause to secure advertisers, and no one wants to see pop ups on the DOI, including myself.

Gotta give props to El Shoes for rocking a Family Guy T-Shirt.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYAMI! Everyone feel free to send their birthday wishes to Dyami on the message board.

This upcoming Saturday JAPW returns with a packed show. If I get time, I hope to write another prediction/run down of the show. Maff/Mack and Hart/Homicide promises to be 2 great matches. If you can't get to Jersey that day, check out NYWC in Long Island as they have steadily been having good show after good show.

Give me my tape back Grim Queefer!

Low Life Louie hosts the DOI hotline at 1-718-707-1014. Make sure to call it every day, as it's updated every night at midnight. It's a great hotline and Louie has been doing a fantastic job with it. Many stories have been talked about on it such as Demanto talking about Jac Sabboth, Eddie Guapo talking about WXW, the NYWC guys talking about NYWC and a shit load more. As long as he's not interviewing The Motivator, it's always a great listen.

The DOI Site recently hit the 3 million mark, and congrats to Jimmy Hustler for being the 3 millionith hit. Thank you to everyone for visiting the site and making the site what it is today.

I got a lot of feedback on the USA Pro article I wrote, describing why I felt it should be the number 2 promotion today. Some people agreed with it, some people think it will never get done, but all in the end thought USA Pro has the resources to be the number 1 indy fed, and the number 2 fed, second to WWE, in America Today.

Seems that Dana Dameson has been improving alot and that's good to hear about the Mouth from the South!

I am happy to report that Bam Bam Bigelow is mad at Matt Zombie, and not me, like previously thought lol. I couldn't imagine fighting a guy who main evented Wrestlemania lol.

I have just recieved a phone call from someone who saw the rough copy of the USA Pro show in Bethpage and he told me that it seems that Becky Bayless got as loud of a cheer as anyone during the beauty pageant. Once we get the tape, the DOI will review it and let you people know what's up. Funker has also stated that everything is cool with Matt Striker.

Upcoming shows this weekend:
Friday 2/27: WXW in Sciota, PA and AWA in Union City
Saturday 2/28: JAPW in Rahway or Woodbridge I forget and NYWC in Deer Park
Sunday 2/29: CCW in Fairfield, CT

Definitely should be an interesting week for McRankings.

Let us know what interviews you want to read by either emailing us or posting on the message board.

That does it for this week, I got a class to sleep in!
