Hey everyone, welcome to McRankings, which is a monthly feature in the DOI newsletters. To spice up the DOI website, every week (Or as much free time as I can get) I will rank, in my opinion, the top 10 indy wrestlers that I have seen for the week. The monthly rankings will remain in the newsletter, which is available monthly. I will also rank the top 5 tag teams, top 5 women wrestlers and top 5 “Intangibles”. There will also be one “McMatch of the Weekend.” Rankings will be on what I’ve seen only, and I usually make all the top shows. NWA-TNA wrestlers will only be ranked if they wrestle in the northeast area, but I will not rank wrestlers on what they have done in NWA-TNA, but I will comment on it. This is what I look for in a ranking. The criteria is listed in order.

1- Workrate- how good was the match from a wrestling standpoint. A lot of rest holds? Non stop action? Ring psychology, footwork and selling moves will also factor into this.

2- Character/Crowd Reaction- How the wrestler did with the crowd. Was the crowd chanting boring or were they popping the whole match? Likewise, was the crowd sitting there or booing and cursing the hell out of the heels?

3- Finally win/loss records. This won’t really factor into it too much, but if 2 guys are tied, then I will give the nod to the guy with the better win/loss record.

What up everyone in DOI land and welcome to another McRankings. This weekend I checked out JAPW and 3PW. These rankings reflect those shows only, as I only rank what I see.

TOP 10 SINGLES WRESTLERS

10. Monsta Mack- defeated Ashe Samuels at JAPW, and went on to defeat Josh Daniels at 3PW.

9. Jay Lethal- defeated Dan Barry and Crazy Ivan, as he defended his JAPW Heavyweight title twice.

8. Slyck Wagner Brown- lost at 3PW, after eating some of Talia's nefarious powder.

7. Simon Diamond- defeated Slyck Wagner Brown at 3PW.

6. Justin Credible- lost to Roadkill, in a bid to win the 3PW Championship.

5. Roadkill- won a brawl over the 3PW title, defeating Justin Credible.

4. Azraiel- was pinned by his trainer at JAP.

3. Ruckus- lost to B-Boy at 3PW.

2. Homicide- defeated Azraiel in a strong JAP main event match.

1. B-Boy- defeated Ruckus in a good match at 3PW.

TOP 5 TAG TEAM WRESTLERS

5. Myers/Matthews- looked solid, despite losing, in their JAPW tag team debut.

4. Notorious Inc- won a number 1 tag team contenders match at 3PW.

3. OutCast Killahz- defeated Myers/Matthews at JAPW.

2. America's Most Wanted (James Storm/Chris Harris)- lost in 3PW to Blackball'd.

1. Blackball'd (Rockin Rebel/Greg Matthews)- defended the 3PW Tag Titles successfully against AMW.

TOP 5 WOMEN WRESTLERS
Note: On weeks where there weren’t enough women wrestlers, managers/valets will be placed in spots. Women wrestlers (who wrestle) will always be ranked ahead of managers/valets.

5. Talia- took a beating at 3PW and sold like a champ.

4. Jana- looked at the lights for 3 seconds at JAPW.

3. Shayla- part of the winning tag team at JAPW.

2. Alere Little Feather- lost in a tag team match at JAPW.

1. Alicia- picked up the pinfall in her JAPW tag team match victory.

TOP 5 INTANGIBLES
The intangibles will be used for the top 5 people/angles/interesting developments that occurred during the week.

5. Blue Meanie/JBL incident- after all the dumbass shit JBL has done in his career, it should make for one hell of a shoot interview one day..

4. PWU to crown a first ever Heavyweight Champion- Be there on 6/24 to witness the crowning of the first ever PWU Heavyweight champion.

3. Samoa Joe debuts in TNA- this man should hold TNA gold by the time his contract is up, if TNA ever wants to make serious money.

2. Raven wins the NWA World TNA Title- I guess Hardcore Homecoming influenced this title victory. Raven can take TNA to higher ground.

1. CM Punk wins the ROH World Title- In a very interesting and intriguing moment, the soon-to-be departed Punk wins the ROH World title. A million questions are asked after this title win, such as where does Punk, Aries and the title go from here? What happens next? If you leave fans asking tons of questions about storylines/matches on the show, then you know you are doing something good.

MATCH OF THE WEEK
3PW
B-Boy d. Ruckus
B-Boy's debut match with 3PW was a victorious one, as he and Ruckus pulled out all the stops in this entertaining clash of street styles. Both guys looked solid in the ring and gave the crowd what they wanted in this match. This match was about who could best who, and didn't need any title on the line to be interesting either, which means that both guys did a great job.

Well that’s it for this week. Keep it here on the DOI site for all the good shit!

Let us know on the DOI message board or send us an email and tell us what you think about the rankings!
