What's up everyone and welcome to a special preview for CSWF's second event of the year. CSWF had arguably the best show in their short 2 year history last month. The show featured an incredible match between Mana and Abyss, in addition to featuring the NWA TNA Heavyweight Champion of the world, Jeff Jarrett. CSWF also broke their own attendance record, and in my opinion, had their best booked show ever. CSWF was known for their booking holes and "CSWF logic" before their last show, but the last show they had, had none of that. Will CSWF have another kick ass show, will they revert back to their illogical ways? We'll find out this Saturday night, but in the meantime here is my preview/predictions/rundown of CSWF's "SuperBrawl III".
Main Event
For the NWA TNA Heavyweight World Championship
(c) Jeff Jarrett vs Ron Killings
This match is historic just for the fact that the NWA TNA championship is being defended for the first time in NJ. This match has been done several times before, so expect Jarrett to win this match with a guitar shot. I really wish CSWF put Christopher Daniels in Killings spot, because that's at least a match that has never been done before. Even having Slyck Wagner Brown, the CSWF Champion in this spot would've been better, because who doesn't like Champion vs Champion matches. I think by having this match, you know who is going to win, it's just a matter of how long before the guitar is busted out here.
For the CSWF Heavyweight Championship
(c) Slyck Wagner Brown w/April Hunter vs Chris Daniels vs Elix Skipper
This should be a pretty good match. Slyck and Daniels have a mini-indy feud going on as Daniels challenges Slyck for his CSWF Championship this week, and Slyck challenges for Daniels 3PW Heavyweight Championship two weeks from now. Smart booking says Slyck Wagner Brown wins this match, and after watching CSWF's last show, I think Slyck retains the belt here.
For the CSWF Cruiser X Championship
Ladder Match
(c) Sonjay Dutt vs Grim Reefer
This is the belt Reefer was supposed to win before Michael Shane decided to do the big league gimmick several shows ago. Reefer has been gunning and gunning and gunning for the CSWF Cruiser X Championship, and with Sonjay turning heel, it might be time for the fan favorite Grim Reefer to finally win the belt which he's been shooting for, for so long.
For the CSWF Tag Team Championships
(c) America's Most Wanted vs The Solution w/John Shane
This match is pretty interesting. Last year, these two teams had one of the best tag team matches of the year. The Solution came out on top that time. Now AMW are the CSWF Tag Team Champions, which are belts the Solution haven't held yet. Both teams have something to fight for here, but I just don't see America's Most Wanted going down twice in a row to The Solution.
Frankie Kazarian vs Chris Candido
This will be a very interesting match, and it should be very good as well. This is like another TNA tryout for Candido, which he will ace. There has to be another indy promotion outside of USA Pro/UXW who will push Candido seriously, so I think CSWF will be the one here, as Candido wins this match.
Tracy Brooks vs Trinity
This feud was set up simply enough, and wasn't just thrown together at the last second. This should be a decent match as these two women are two of the better women wrestlers out there. The only thing what does CSWF Womens Champion, April Hunter, think about this match? It seems like her involvement with these two gals are over, but that's not 100% yet. I'll take Tracy Brooks to win this match.
Dan Barry w/Miss Asia vs Mason Raige
Dan Barry might have to put on the HBK gear in this match, because he's going to have to put on a hell of a performance to make Mason look great. Think HBK vs Diesel. There is no way in a real fight that Dan Barry could win cleanly, but with Miss Asia around, he could win with some underhand tactics. However, I see Mason Raige winning this match, and maybe leaving Dan Barry to do something new in the CSWF since the whole United Nations gimmick isn't working in CSWF.
Battle Royal for a CSWF Internet Title Shot
Featuring: Mike Kruel, Josh Daniels, Nick Berk, Crowbar, Julio Dinero and Mana
It seems like whoever wins this match will be the one to beat Mike Tobin, who is the current CSWF Internet Champion. With that said, Mana has the most momentum to win this match, so he's my pick to win this match, and eventually beat Mike Tobin for the CSWF Internet Championship.
Matt Striker vs Michael Shane
This match stems from Striker costing Shane the CSWF Championship at the last show. Striker seems to have feuded with Shane out of nowhere. Shane has lost some steam after losing to Slyck, so I think Striker will capitalize on that, and win this match.
There might be other matches on the show. I'm sure there will be an appearance from Jackie Dreamer and Firehawk as well. The one thing I noticed when writing this preview is that there is not one match that looks bad on paper. Every match has a mini or major storyline behind it and the matches look strong. CSWF has really gotten their act together from a year ago.
Overall
CSWF runs against CZW again for the second show in a row. Last time CSWF blew out CZW in terms of quality and attendance. I think that trend continues here. For Philly fans who have been disappointed with CZW lately, you might want to check out this show, and see what the CSWF is all about. It should be interesting to see if CSWF can draw 600, the number that JAPW drew last week. CSWF has alot of momentum going into this show, and hopefully they make something of it this Saturday.
