What up everyone, and welcome to the Super Saturday Preview. There are dozens of shows going on this weekend. Instead of giving my usual rundown, I'm going to post the press releases of every show running this Saturday. It's going to be impossible for me to check out every show this Saturday as I can't be in 459 places at once, but I can tell from these line ups that alot of good wrestling will be going down. JAPW runs at 2 PM which I think is a huge advantage for them, as every other show is running at night. By running uncontested and as a first show of a double header, JAPW should do well. There are 7 other promotions fighting for the fans ticket money this Saturday night, and where anyone goes is up to them, just make sure to get out there and support your indy wrestling. Well here is the run down of promotions having shows on this huge Saturday: (Opinions included afterwards)

JCW
It is now upon us! Jersey Championship Wrestling will make its debut in central New Jersey as JCW "Take it to Extremes" at Extreme’s Roller Hockey Arena in Bridgewater, New Jersey, located on 3 Chimney Rock Road just off of Routes 287, 78, 28 and 22! Bell time is 7:30 on June 12th, and the advance ticket prices are $10 for front row seats and general admission tickets are 2 for $10! Reserve your tickets now because these prices are only good up until the day before the show! You can do this by calling Extreme’s at 732-560-0005 or the JCW Box Office at 201-370-7891. Reservations can also be made by e-mailing mrjcw@optonline.net.

Directions to Extreme’s…

From Route 80: Take Route 80 East (from PA/West NJ) or West (From NYC/East NJ) to Route 287 South, towards Morristown. Take Exit 14A on 287 South to Route 22 East. Less than a mile on the right will be Chimney Rock Rd. Look for railroad tracks and a large water tower on your right. After the turn, Extreme’s will be on your left.

From the NJ Turnpike North/South: Take exit 10 off of the New Jersey Turnpike for Route 287 North. Look for Exit 14A and follow directions above.

From Route 78: Take Route 78 East (from PA/West NJ) or West (From NYC/East NJ) to Route 287 South, towards Perth Amboy. Take Exit 14A and follow directions above.

The line-up and details on the matches are as follows…

For the JCW Heavyweight Title!
Slyk Wagner Brown (champion) vs. Prince King Nana (challenger) w/ The Consulate

The last time these two met in Bogota, the match ended in a disqualification when The Consulate interfered on behalf of Prince Nana. Nana has petitioned the offices of JCW, demanding a rematch and swearing that his seconds will not repeat their actions. The rematch has been granted, under to be named conditions should Fred Sampson or Hasheem Ali interject themselves into the match. Will Nana be able to defeat Slyk Wagner Brown without help? We will find out the answer this weekend!

For the JCW TV Title!
"The Raging Beast" Bryan Wenzel (champion) vs. Damian Adams (challenger)
"The Raging Beast" will be in Bridgewater, and he has vowed to continue his reign as TV Champion at all costs, but to do this he will have to go through an athlete who is far from a slouch in Damian Adams! Adams would love to gain another championship for his collection, but does he have what it takes to stop one of the most physically dominant champs in JCW history?

The JCW Tag Title Tournament!
The first round match-ups are set! JCW's new (and still unidentified) commissioner has set up a one night mini-tournament which will define JCW's new Tag Team Champions! The first round will consist of 2 3-way elimination matches with the winners facing later on that evening to crown the new JCW Tag Team Champions! The first round match-ups are as follows...

Match 1: The Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz (EC Negro/KC Blade) vs. The Consulate (Fred Sampson/Hasheem Ali) vs. The Off Brothers (Jerk/Jack)

Match 2: Ryan Wing/Tiger Mulligan vs. Danny Demanto/J-Kronik vs. Dave Greco/Undead

Finals: Winner Match 1 vs. Winner Match 2

6 Teams…2 Titles…1 night. The Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz (and their fans) are never ones to let everyone forget that the JCW Tag Titles are technically theirs, seeing as no member of that team was ever pinned or made to submit to lose them. However, to prove that they deserve them, they will have to be better than 5 other teams this weekend. Will they achieve their destiny, or fall short? The only way to know for sure is to show up in Bridgewater to see for yourself!

For the JCW Women's Title!
Miss Kara Slice (champion) vs. Alicia (challenger)

The last time these two met, Kara Slice came out the winner. However, now the match is a little more important with the JCW Women’s Title on the line, and these ladies will be trying that much harder to win at Extreme’s in Bridgewater!

Special Challenge Match!
Los Geckos Locos vs. Los Diablos
The antics and boasting of Los Geckos Locos that they are "The Hottest Tag Team in the Northeast Today" has raised the ire of another masked tag team from the area, Los Diablos! Los Dialbos claim that they are true luchadores and will end the nonsense Los Geckos Locos are spreading this Saturday night…once and for all!

The JCW debuts of WWF Tag Team Legend Demolition Ax and Connecticut star John Brooks!

Also appearing: Shawn Sheridan w/ 1-Up, and the rest of stars of JCW!

JCW has already scheduled the return date for Extreme’s, and it will be September 25! Tickets will be on sale at a reduced rate at the show on Saturday! We hope to see you there! Thanks for your support,

Tickets are only $10, and are available in advance by calling (516) 924-3027. You can also get tickets in advance at the ticket outlets listed below. And of course, tickets will be available at the door.

NYWC CHAMPIONSHIP
Grim Reefer vs. Nuke (c) w/ Tommy King
After defeating Mikey Whipwreck for the NYWC Championship on May 8, Nuke became a marked man. Now, the man from 3-mile island must defend his gold, starting with one of the NYWC's most electric competitors... Grim Reefer! Reefer is currently the NYWC Light-Heavyweight Champ, and is looking to add the prestigious NYWC title to his collection. Can Nuke fend off his first major challenge, or will there be high times in Reefer's future?

NYWC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Ru Starr & Wayne vs. Matt Striker & Rob Eckos (c)
In a surprising turn of events, NYWC newcomers Matt Striker and Rob Eckos made their mark, soundly defeating Ru Starr and Wayne for the NYWC Tag Titles! It remains to be seen how the NYWC's favorite odd couple are coping with the loss of their belts, but one thing is for certain... Starr and Wayne will be gunning for Striker and Eckos, and the results should be interesting to say the least!

NYWC INTERSTATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Mike Tobin vs. Tyler Payne (c)
"M-Tizzle" Mike Tobin has been quietly making a name for himself in the NYWC, climbing up the ladder and leaving opponents in his dust (including the formerly unbeatable Mike Mayhem). Now, the man from Boogie-Down Bronx is challenging the most controversial man in NYWC history, Tyler Payne, for the Interstate title. This will be Tobin's biggest hurdle yet, and a victory could cement his place among the NYWC elite... But Payne is determined to stop Tobin in his tracks, and as NYWC fans know, there is nothing this man won't do to get his way!

Mayhem vs. Disturbed Damien Dragon w/ Foxxy Dreams
Few opponents of Maniac Mike Mayhem have walked away from the ring as winners... Since beginning his NYWC career, Mayhem has compiled an astonishing .942 winning percentage! And with his new cohorts, The Rat Pak, Mayhem may be virtually unstoppable. But Disturbed Damien Dragon is not one to back down from a challenge, and with the always-scheming Foxxy Dreams by his side, the disturbed one just might be able to overcome the odds after all! Also scheduled to appear Prince Charles and Affirmative Action, Nick Noshus, Tony Burma, John Curse, Crusher Doogan, Mason Raige, Dickie Rodz, Dan Barry, Los Luchas Hermanos, Tara Charisma and more….

There are more shows this weekend as well, but to me, these are the major ones. I heard JAPW might have a huge surprise main event. I think JAPW is a must for most indy fans. As far as the nightcap, I guess it depends on where you live. Obviously, if you live in Philly, CZW has a strong line-up. If you're a NYer, then NYWC is your best bet. If you're in PA, then WXW features Gene's last match. If you're a Jersey-ite, you have two shows within an hour from each other back to back. Add in that UWA is tonight and that IHPW is Sunday, then it is a good time to be a wrestling fan.

As far as me? JAPW is a safe bet. As far as where I wind up in the night, I'll let the PR412@aol.com man figure that one out!

Shit it's almost time to go back to the real job. Enjoy the weekend.
