McPinions
By: Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey
What up everyone out there in DOI land and welcome to a special McPinions tripleheader weekend. McPinions 19, discussing UWA is already up. You're obviously reading this one. JCW info will be up late tomorrow. Well let's get into SSCW.
Ring Rage V, the SSCW 5th anniversary show, will take place at the Italian American Family Association located at 282 Parker Avenue in Clifton, NJ with a start time of 8 PM. All the matches for this event have been announced and are as follows.
Let me get this out of the way first. A few people have asked me how I will cover SSCW. I have no ill will towards Carmine nor SSCW. I am glad to see SSCW doing things that I was telling Carmine from day one on this show. It's the Simon Effect. I mean I can't blame Carmine, even though I said a few of the things Simon said to do, it's finally getting done now because Simons word is more (and deservingly so) more respected than mine. I am actually looking forward to this show as Simon has a good track record of putting together quality wrestling shows. Of course, alot of these matches were set up by myself during my time there, but I have no clue how they are going to pan out now, so here are my McPredictions on this event.
Main Event
The Honky Tonk Man VS Simon Diamond
Who's the heel in this one? This should be an old school match. Thank god Josh Deely isn't in it like Carmine originally wanted him to be! I'd say Simon gets the win because he's going to be around in SSCW, but I see The Honky Tonk Man getting the duke here tonight.
SSCW Heavyweight Championship Match
TLC – Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match
(Champion) “Debonair” Damian Adams VS Rob Eckos w/ Mike Winner & Miss Kara
Originally scheduled to be a cage match, that was changed due to the building being a dick, this match is now a TLC match. I am interested in seeing how these two hold up in a TLC match. I'll take Damian to win this match and hold onto his title.
Unlucky 13 Match
Lowlife Louie VS Johnny Bravado
Hopefully this feud gets more burn then in the past in SSCW. I say Louie finally picks up the win here. Here's to hoping these two are allowed to go to their full potential.
SSCW Tag Team Championship Match
(Champions) The Solution VS The Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz
I don't think this match will happen due to KC Blade's injury. Maybe Deranged can replace KC Blade? Either way, I'll take The Solution, with John Shane (He wasn't listed on the press release) to win this match.
SSCW Tradition Cup Championship Match
(Champion) Tyler Payne VS Jay Lethal
This should be a phenomenal match. I'm really looking forward to this one. I'll take Tyler to retain his prestigious Tradition Cup.
Dollhouse Of Dreams Match
7 Women, 1 SSCW Women's Championship. This one is gonna be a barn burner. The details of this bout are as follows. Each challenger draws a number between 1 and 6. Champion Tara Charisma automatically gets #7. #1 & #2 start the match out. After one is eliminated via pinfall, submission, count out or disqualification #3 will enter, and so on. Tara Charisma will enter last and defend her title against the remaining contender. The women in this match include SSCW Women's Champion Tara Charisma, Ariel, Alicia, Alere Little Feather, Cindy Rogers, Allison Danger and Luscious Lilly.
This match is up for grabs. Tara obviously has the advantage by coming in last. I'll take the wild card pick, and the girl who doesn't have as much experience as everyone else, Alicia. She'd be a good champ.
Tag Team Grudge Match
Dan Barry & Josh Daniels VS PlaZma & Mike Tobin
I'm guessing Johnny Thunder is no longer Barry's partner. I'll take M-Tizzle and Plazma to win this good match up.
Plus there will be an 8 man Survivor Match
Ticket seller fiasco. Hopefully Tommy Trouble or Fred Sampson is in this match too as they are really good.
AND special VIP tickets include a 40 minute Question & Answer meet & greet session with the Honky Tonk Man prior to the show and front row preferred seating. They are only $25.00 and available at www.sscwwrestling.com. There are ONLY 60 VIP tickets available. General admission tickets are also on sale for $15.00 at www.sscwwrestling.com.
There you go, meet HTM.
Overall, this can go down as the best SSCW show in the companys history. There isn't a bad match outside the 8 man match, which SSCW doesn't want to advertise the participants. There are 7 quality matches and I'm looking forward to it. I think Tyler/Lethal can steal this show. Lots of good feuds in this show looking to come to an end. The addition of Simon Diamond can only positively impact SSCW.
Boy Meets World is on!
