McPinions
By: Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey

What up everyone and welcome to another lovely edition of McPinions. This time I will be previewing and giving my predictions on the upcoming UWA show for this Friday night.

Firstly, here is the show information:
UWA
Professional Wrestling
http://UWA-NJ.cjb.net
presents
"NOTHING TO LOSE"
Friday March 26th 2004 8 PM
Don Miguel Banquet Hall
39 Bloomfield Ave
Newark NJ
All Tickets $10.00 for this event!

UWA which is ran by former JAP star, Frankie Starz and NJ favorite, Bandido, is returning after a year of having no shows. UWA has a pretty solid line up for their show this Friday. With that said, let's do the predictions:

The Main Event
Hair vs Mask Match
BANDIDO ( Hair ) vs BLACK ANGEL ( Mask )
I'll take Black Angel to win this match as most fans probably won't know who Black Angel is, and it wouldn't make sense for him to unmask when no one knows who he is. On the other hand, Bandido could be a huge face here... I'll still take Black Angel to win.

UWA Heavyweight Title Match
FLESH-EATER Kuvatro w/ Johnny Diamond vs The Chair Swingin' Freak BALLS MAHONEY vs "The Tower of Torture" Laithon vs "The Original 187" Homicide ( * * If he gets back from Japan in time )
I don't know what Homicide's status is, but I can't see him winning this match based on the fact that he probably won't be able to make every UWA booking with his busy schedule. This should be a great match as it has diffrent styles from all four wrestlers. I'll take the big man, Laithon, to win the Championship.

Midget Match
**See Two Wrestling Superstars From WWC in Puerto Rico **
Little Tiger vs Little "T"
I believe I've seen these guys work before at a WWW show in Spanish Harlem. These guys were pretty entertaining. It doesn't really matter who wins, because it will be a fun match. I'll take Little T to win, because it's shorter to type.

UWA Tag Title Match
The S.T.D. ( The Orphan & Frankie Starz w Foo Foo ) vs Jay Santana and Rob Vegas w Luscious Lily
This should be an interesting match. Frankie Starz returns to this area on a bigger scale after having an extended period off. Luscious Lily vs Foo Foo on the outside could play a factor into this match. I'll take the S.T.D. to win, because I can't see Santana or Vegas being able to cure them.

UWA Lightweight Title Match
Anything goes 3 Way Dance!
Bandido Jr. vs Dan Payne vs The Grim Reefer
This should be a great high flying match up. I'll take Grim Reefer to pick up his second cruiserweight title in as many weeks for the win.

War Path vs Mayhem
Warpath has been making a good name as a singles wrestler since breaking off with his partner Tony Blaze. Mayhem is a great wrestler who needs to be seen more often. He really don't work in too many places, which is unfortunate. I'll take the NYWC trainer, Mayhem, to win this bout.

# 1 Tag Contenders Match
Harry Acropolis and Louie "The Hand" w " Dangerous " Johnny Diamond vs Jason Speed and Ken Scampi w Tara Charisma
The Fat Frank mark in me is going to be pulling for Harry Acropolis. Sorry Tara, but your ass has nothing on Harry's lol. I'm not familiar with Louie "The Hand" or Jason Speed, but if Ken Scampi is in the match, it should be entertaining, especially with the grotesque Bastion Booger look alike in Harry Acropolis. (Check the DOI interview!)

UWA Womens Title
Open Elimination Match
2 Women Start,
1 Woman comes in every minute
Until they are pinned, or thrown out over the top rope
Ariel vs. Tara Charisma vs Cindy Rogers vs Alere Little Feather vs Luscious Lily vs Shannon LaVey vs Lady Lee vs Alicia
It's funny, SSCW has the same exact match the next day in Clifton with Allison Danger replacing Shannon LaVey. Looks like the top 5 Women Rankings will be tough to decide this week. About fucking time. I'll take my favorite whiskey drinkin' injun to win this match, in the form of Alere Little Feather.

UWA Tri State Hardcore Title
Battle Royale
Featuring
Low Life Louie
The TMPW Students
Grim Reefer's Students
And The Stars of the UWA
I don't give a fuck who is in it, LOUIE! LOUIE! LOUIE! I'll be there screaming drunkingly at Louie in support.

Overall, this looks like a solid indy show, that hasn't really gotten that much hype, internet wise. There is alot of good talent on this show and I am looking forward to it.

That does it for this short edition of McPinions. Keep checking back for SSCW and JCW Predictions as well.
