McPinions
By: Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey

What up everyone and welcome to the third McPinions of the week. I some free time on my hands with a vacation from my real job so I present to you my JCW 2/22 McPredictions and preview.

JCW has experienced hardship in the past few months. The last show they ran was back on November 23rd. The company was in danger of closing down and many deals were made, but in the end Ricky O has taken control of his company, and presents "REBORN" on 2/22 in Garfield, NJ.

Without further ado, here is the full card with my thoughts.

Mo Sexy vs. Red Hot Russ
These two both come from ECPW so they know each other well. This match can go either way and probably will be the curtain jerker of the show. I'll take Red Hot Russ to pick up the win, as he is the more established of the two.

Scotty Charisma vs. K-Brawlik
Both these guys have a good look. K-Brawlik, despite only wrestling a dozen or so matches, is a JCW regular. I'll take his JCW loyalty to translate into a win in this match.

Ryan Wing vs. Tiger Mulligan
Ryan Wing returns to a prominent Jersey fed after toiling around in the now defunct IHPW. Tiger Mulligan is another JCW guy, with roots in the old ISPW. I'll take Tiger to win this match.

Dave Greco vs. Damian Adams
The SSCW champion takes on the former JCW tag and cruiserweight champion, Dave Greco. This should be a fun match to watch. I'll take Dave Greco to pick up the win as he's another JCW regular.

Prince Nana vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
Interesting match here. Both men work the big man style. Bam Bam might be one of the best big man wrestlers ever, and Prince Nana can move like a fucking wildman. I'll hope that Nana doesn't Mr. Puerto Rico this match, and Bam Bam wins this match pleasing the crowd.

JCW Tag Titles
The Hybrid ("Inferno" Dan Gimondo & "The Raging Beast" Bryan Wenzel) (C) vs. Ace Darling and Matt Striker
The JCW champions take on the former ECWA tag team champions.
The Hybrid won the tag belts at the last show. I don't see them losing it after holding them for a show. This should be a good tag match. Striker might be the best all around wrestler and entertainer in the indies today. I'll take the Hybrid.

JCW Women's Title
April Hunter (C) vs. The Lovely Miss Kara
April Hunter, like the Hybrid, won JCW gold at the last JCW show. For the same reasons, I can't see her losing here. I also think that April is the better wrestler of the two and will be able to outpower and outwrestle Kara here tonight.

JCW Lightheavyweight Title (NO DQ/No Countout/Loser Leaves JCW)
"Showtime" Shawn Sheridan (C) vs. "Disturbed" Damian Dragon w/Foxxy Dreams
I think Robert Payes said it and I find it hilarious, "This will be the only match where both wrestlers try to lose." Sheridan has been getting the best of Damian Dragon from day one, so I think it's Dragons turn to get his revenge. Sheridan could always have a talk show or manage, as he has the charisma to do it. If Dragon loses, I don't see him being able to stick around in the company in a character role. Should be interesting to see if the stipulation sticks longterm.

JCW TV Title
Jay Lethal (C) vs. "The Ugandan Headhunter" Kamala
With me thinking Bam Bam winning the match against Nana, I can see JCW's own Jay Lethal solidifying his status as a great champion with a pinfall victory over Kamala.

JCW Heavyweight Title
Slyk Wagner Brown w/ April Hunter vs. Johnny Thundar
Like April and like the Hybrid, Slyk won this title at the last show. Slyk continues his 3 month reign as JCW champion here, in my opinion.

Plus a 20 man/woman/creature battle royal
This sounds like a ticket seller match to me. I am not sure though if it is or not. I also heard Chris Candido is on the show, so maybe he'll make his JCW debut in this spot. I guess we'll find out what happens on Sunday.

That about wraps this up. I'd urge everyone to check out this show as it is rumored to be one of the bigger JCW shows in a while. It also is the second show of a big weekend, as CSWF runs the day before.
