This is a special edition of McPinions, the POST BBQ version.

Well it's midnite and I got school tomorrow at 7 am, and the BBQ was a huge success due to inclement weather. I'd just like to say that Mike and Joel bitched out by going home, and getting a new pair of clothes, while me and Marc stuck through the whole time in our rain soaked clothes. Before commenting on anything else, I'd just like to thank the following people:

Marc Adler- People ask me, what the fuck does Marc do for the DOI? Well today was a prime example of how the self-proclaimed "Motivator" gets things done. From 10-1 it poured like hell, and I felt like a McRetard for standing out in the rain, along with a few others. Well Mr. Adler set up the makeshift tarp, set up the bbq's, cooked, smoked, and collected all the money for Magic. Without him, I don't think the BBQ would've been pulled off.
Mike and Jason Zevon- These two funded the BBQ and took a loss. Originally, we had 250 people coming. Well due to the shitty ass weather, we got 1/5 of that. They were going to take a 100 dollar loss, and take all the money the BBQ took in to cover costs, and all profit would've went to Magic. Instead, they took a bigger loss, and donated 90% of the money taken in, to Magic. It wound up being $200, and for a shitty day, I didn't think we'd get that high.
Joel Grayson- Like mentioned before, he went home to get some dry clothes. I'd like to thank him for also picking up some McFuel in a couple of 22's of Heineken. That was a good look.

The bbq drew a great amount of people to Flushing Meadows park. I'd also like to thank all that came, and made the trek to Queens and donated to a great cause.

The people who came were, in no particular order:
John Shane, Clarence McDougal, DRS, Homicide, Low Life Louie, Bison, Danny Demanto, Grim Reefer, Low Ki, Bobby Lombardi, Kevin Matthews, Elm Street Kids, DerangedER, Brian Myers, Dani and her crew, Sandal Man, JCW Sign Guy, Hope the Photographer and family, DRS girls, Suba, Magic, plus many more that I'm forgetting due to my inebriated state lol. Thanks for coming, it was a bitch traveling through the weather.

The DOI is looking to throw another BBQ party sometime in the summer. Hopefully we'll get better weather then, and deliver the advertised softball game and a drinking contest, that doesn't consist of me and Mikey lol.

The BBQ was a fun time and I had a blast drinking Extra (piss) Gold and eating some McBurgers and talking with everyone. I hope everyone who came enjoyed it, and for everyone who donated it really made a difference.
