This took a couple of days for me to get out. Every time the wrestling business loses another wrestler its a big blow on the business and will always effect me but this time I didn't lose a fellow wrestler. I lost a real close friend that happened to wrestle. Jimmy wasn't one of those people you just go up to at the beginning of the show to say hi to and at the end of the show to say goodbye to. Jimmy was my real life friend that did more for me then most people I know.

I met Jimmy at the beginning of 2001. I didn't become cool with him until Kevin Matthews and I had a 3 way dance from HELL with him on one of Jac Sabboth's ICW shows in Queens, New York. Even though we stunk it up that night we all had fun and laughed together all night.

A few months later Kevin, Valentina, Tara Charisma, Justin Cage, El Shoes, Jimmy and I went on the best road trip to North Carolina I've ever had to this day. Now you would think this road trip was great because we went to an awesome show and made a whole bunch of money. Not only did the show suck ass but we got stiffed on MOST of our money as well. But I don't think it mattered to most of us cuz almost every minute of that trip consisted of us laughing and goofing off in Jimmy's Scooby Doo type van.

Jimmy was the type of guy that just wanted to be a part of something fun. We would joke all the time about Jimmy wanting to be RESPECTED or Jimmy is a businessman. Well, if Jimmy just wanted respect then he wouldn't have picked all of us as friends and I wouldn't have been lucky enough to say I was one of Jimmy's real life friends. And if Jimmy was such a businessman he wouldn't have lost all the paydays working as a bouncer (that was Jimmy's job on the weekends) just to work a shit show for free just to be around something he loved. If he was such a businessman, he wouldn't have kept losing money on ABC Wrestling just to give the boys a place to work.

Jimmy was ALWAYS there when someone he gave a shit about was in trouble. When he saw I needed a job he tried to hook me up with a job at his wedding place making phone calls. Then Jimmy got me into the bouncing business and I made a lot of money that I would have never made if it wasn't for Jimmy. I know countless other stories from other friends of his that would call him up and he would be there within a blink of an eye. That's what a true friend is. A friend that is not only there to laugh with but its someone that no matter what you need them for they are there... that's what Jimmy was.

The last couple of days have been hard. Between a 25 hour road trip from hell to move Kevin Matthews back home early so he could be here for Jimmy's wake and funeral to just remembering all the memories I have had with Jimmy. Its still not real to me. How did this really happen? Why did this happen? He had so much to live for... Jimmy the rest of 2006 will be dedicated to you my man. I know you will be watching down from above with the cigarette and the special coke in your hand. I will do my best to make you proud.

We will ALL Miss you Jimmy
Your True Friend
