REIL WORLD 6

Beings that I'm home playing Mr Mom, feeding the baby, and making her dance to tupac at the young age of 3 weeks, I figure what the fuck I'll write another column.

I recently looked at the USA Pro website, and saw all this hype and hoopula about these debuting stars coming in for this upcoming February 14th show, and figured that I'd add my two sense.

First things first, Jak Sabboth is helping book the shows now, but as I was told by Frank Goodman Frank will be making the final decisions. I took a deep breath on that one because when I worked for Jak at the ICW show at the Elks, the crowd actually chanted " You Fucked Up" at the booking for the finish of the match, and frankly I didn't blame them. How do you leave the crowd with a sour taste in their match with a match involving Joey Matthews and Da Reilness... well the finish... ugh

Back to the CZW influx, well theres some history between Billy Reil and CZW. I've always kept this under wraps, and never spoke about this publicly, but here we go.

Back in 1999 on my birthday, I was recovering from a knee injury, and managed Trent Acid on our first CZW show . I was manning the fort at the Pittbulls gym in Philly. It was a real cool place where many of CZW stars were taught how to work. Johnny Kashmere and Wifebeater were the two that come to mind. Myself and Trent Acid were the two head trainers under The Pitbulls. We were teaming up and fueding almost everywhere in this time period, our ring chemistry was legit Flair/ Steamboat style, and everybody knew it. We played little league together, and broke in together. We were as close as brothers, and people still don't believe that we're not boys.

The origin of all this dates back to the Summer of 1999, when the Pittbulls went on tour to Australia. I grew up being taught loyalty, and it was a lesson that I'll never forget. Being Loyal to the Pitts meant that even though they were gone in another country, I'd still open the school everyday, and things would run as smoothly as if they were still here. It didn't go down like that as Trent and Kashmere went to the CZW school and taught their students for free in exchange for work on their shows.

Now in the long run I guess they prospered from it, but to me they broke a code of honor that I just couldn't fathom. Wifebeater later followed, and went on to work for CZW exclusively; which was good for him. He always treated me with respect, and we had alot of good times together. I stuck by the Pitbulls until the very end, and am still close with Gary Wolf.

There was some heat between myself and CZW for awhile, but it was over some silly shit. I did commentary during one of Trents matches which was hillarious. Basically talking about gangbangs, etc, and John Zandig wasn't too thrilled with the idea, so we didn't speak for a while, but all that is mended as John is a genuine guy, and really sacrifices a whole lot for his fans.

I'd probably work there now if it weren't for guys like Trent who will talk mad shit behind my back, but talk to me on the phone like I was his boy. See me at the gym, work out with me, and then try to bury to other workers. Dude, who are you? Would you know yourself if you looked in the mirror? I know deep down your a good dude, but man can't you keep it real?

Kashmere, the mastermind of all this crap. Another guy who forgot where he came from. Mr Loyalty himself. This guy was probably one of the nicest guys that I ever met in my life when we first met. He'd give you the shirt off of his back, and we stayed over his house playing Nintendo 64 for hours. We were a family, until either one of two things happend either # 1 He was sick of us getting all of the pushes, selling the t-shirts, maybe he was tired of driving me and Trent to our shots... who knows ? Or maybe the lifestyle that he started to lead when he and Trent hung out more often changed his psyche. Not taking away anything from them in the ring, but I'd trust shaking Magic Johnson's hand with a open wound before I'd trust them.

They are the core of CZW besides Gage and a few others so now hopefully this explanation will make people stop e-mailing me about why I don't work for CZW.

I would love to, but they create too much nonsense making me out to be fuckin lucifer.

Now on the surge of talent coming to USA Pro, First lets talk about the most underrated athelete in the indies today- Nick Berk, Nick has his first match against me, and also had his first rib played on him by me in the same night, as the ring announcer introduced him as Nick Green. Why this guy isn't signed to a developmental is beyond my grasp. No indy gives him the push he deserves. I'm clueless to why. Yeah, he is goofier than a pet coon, but he can't work his ass off.

Now on to Z-Barr, In my opinion the kid can work. We had an oldschool match last year where we didn't call anything but the finish, and the match was great. How many people can do that nowadays without blowing a spot ? Not many... Z Barr however blatently ripped off a Billy Reil catch Phrase afterward, and loses points for that. No business saying something you know nothing about, but what the fuck I'm the man, and Chris Jericho even feels the need to borrow from the master.

Ruckus is a great performer, a fearless performer who should get mad over with the fans in NYC. I look forward to seeing him in a USA PRO ring, as I know he's gonna tear shit up. We had a bangin match in Delaware like three years ago with Greg Spitz in a three way, and it's one of my oldschool favorites.

Nate Hatred is coming as well, and he's a guy who broke in the same time I did albeit different schools. Trained and influenced by Glen Osbourne, who is one of my personal favorites. Nate should give Louie a run for his money. Good guy, and a good worker. A real welcome addition to the roster.

Now that I'm done remember this
