I got to the show around 7:15 and was very surprised with the amount of people waiting on line. Along with a lot of people comes no parking in the lot. After parking on the street, I waited on line to get into the show. I paid for "balcony" seating because i wanted to buy some merch from a vendor. Since this was my first time at the Garfield Boys & Girls Club, I didnt realize that "balcony" means "hallway behind glass."
Alicia def. Talia. I've never seen either women wrestle before. I was totally bored and unimpressed with their skills and smoothness of wrestling. The only thing that saved the match were hard boob chops and talia's smokin' body.
Azraiel def Rob Vegas. Decent match. Nothing too impressive but decent opener.
Kevin Matthews def JD Smoothie & Joe Hardaway. Another boring match. It didn't make any sense for Kevin Matthewsto come out abnd tell the ring announcer that he was now in the match while Necro (who was commishiner and came out over all other card changes) didn't come out. Bad booking. JD Smoothie is awful to watch.
Julio Dinero hosted "The Naked Truth". Not a bad segment but the decision for Justin Credible to be in a 4 way match made NO sense while they needed someone to fill in for the main event (which was a no holds barred DQ match anyways). I understand that its hard to complete a show when it doesn't go according to plan but as a spectator, I was unhappy. AND especially since Justin Credible's match was supposed to be a long 2 out of 3 falls match but wrestled in a 7 minute 4 way match.
Michael Sain def Crowbar. Worst match of the night. Michael Sain cannot wrestle. period. I've seen Crowbar a bunch and i enjoy his matches. This match dragged on and on while the action was super slow.
Paul E Normus def The Zombie. Ok gimmick match. The storyline w/ Rocksha and Niggataker made no sense. Unless they are setting something up for the next event, Rocksha and Niggataker looked like fools walking around with nothing to do except handing out flyers.
Danny Demento def Kenny Omega. Ok match again. Kenny Omega shined in this match. He has incredible in-ring skills. I absolutely enjoyed the way he did moves and sold them. If he wrestled someone other than Danny Demento, this would have been a GREAT match.
45 minute intermission with shitty rappers through a shitty P.A.
Monsta Mack def Abyss. Standard Abyss match. I liked the whole thing until the DQ ending. How doesthat make sense? They hit each other with chairs and garbage cans but once the ref got bumped, its a DQ? Stupid ending which is unfair to both Mack and Abyss.
Black Machismo def Lanny Poffo. Great gimmick match. Lethal was amazing in the Savage gimmick. Both were fun. Poffo did a moonsault. There was some asshole fan who kept drunkenly screaming about poffo's tan. It wasnt funny the 1st time nor the 800th time you said it.
Sabu def Danny Doring, Trent Acid, & Justin Credible. Should have been the match of the night except it was shortest match of the night. Danny Doring sucked on the mic and botched moves. Sabu smashed his own head on a table and almsot died. The fact that Sabu always gives 100% is awesome. Trent acid and Justin Credible really didn't show much. Too Short.
Low Ki/Kingston def Necro/Demento. Good brawl match. Low Ki was great. I (like most of the crowd) was pissed off when Danny Demento was the replacement for Chris Hero after Julio Dinero promised "a hero of wrestling" to fill in for him. That threw all credibility out the window for this match. There were good spots in the match though with all the brawling. It ended up being a fun match.
Overall, This show was not worth going to nor will I ever go to a PWS show again. It was unorganized with a shitty PA (and the guy who ran the sound fucked up on intros AND there was an early bell (cowbell) to seemingly end one of the matches). Some of the storylines and endings didn't make sense and insulted the wrestling community.
