WXW Return to Allentown, PA for Another Live Edition of Rage TV
World X-Treme Wrestling will be invading Mountainville Memorial Hall in Allentown, Pennsylvania on Sunday, February 19th, 2006. Pre taped matches will begin at 4:30 pm and we will be LIVE at 5pm on Service Electric Cable TV 2.
The event features an all-star lineup that is sure to please wrestling fans and give them a show they will not soon forget. Among the matches on the card are:
WXW Heavyweight Champion Puerto Rican Hurricane Havoc vs. Bison Bravado
Bison Bravado is a two time former WXW Heavyweight Champion and has been hungry to get his championship back since he lost it. On February 19th, he will get that chance when he evokes his rematch clause for the WXW Heavyweight Championship! This is do or die for Bison Bravado as if he doesn't win the title in this match, he will be forced to work again through the ranks of WXW as there is a long line for the title behind him!
WXW Cruiserweight Champion Drew Blood vs. WXW Woman’s Champion Mercedes Martinez
At WXWs last live event at the Croc Rock, Drew Blood was not in attendance for his match against Blk Out. Commissioner Sugaa forced Devon to go in the match alone which was absolutely brutal. After the match, Devon complained to Sugaa about being unfair so Sugaa made a decision. If Devon and Drew wanted to act like girls, they would be treated like girls. So on February 19th, Drew Blood will defend his Cruiserweight Championship against the one and only Mercedes Martinez!
WXW Luck O’ The Irish Television Title Tournament featuring EC Negro vs. Joker
The Dirty Rotten Scoundrel EC Negro makes his return to WXW as he goes one on one for the first time ever against Joker in a Luck O’ The Irish TV Title Match. In the Luck O’ The Irish Tournament, each match will have a stipulation randomly chosen prior to the match. This match will be a winners choice match where a coin will be flipped and the winner of the coin toss will get to choose the stipulation of the match. Who will win the coin toss and what stipulation will be chosen? This indy wrestling dream match can only be seen in WXW and the the only way to find out what stipulation is chosen is to be there live!
Devon Moore vs. Sabian
This feud has been going on for the past couple of months and is going to be taken to the next level. Sabian delivered two devastating double stomps to Devon Moore at WXWs Bar Room Brawl this past month. Now these two will go one on one for the first time ever. Who will come out the winner? And will Joker and Drew Blood be involved?
The Rockin Rebel vs. Nuisance and the long-awaited return of one of the most powerful factions in all of professional wrestling, Team X-treme!!!
Nuisance makes his long awaited return to WXW has he takes on former WXW Heavyweight Champion Rockin’ Rebel. Nuisance is a legend in WXW rings and as fans saw at the Bar Room Brawl, Team Xtreme is BACK in WXW. Nuisance, Samu and Sugaa are ready to run wild once again on WXW but who is next to join this historic group and who is behind the reformation of Team Xtreme? Speculation has been running wild....WHO CAN IT BE? Rumor has it we may find out on February 19th!
Also, February 19th will mark the last appearance in the northeast of WXW stars and current WWE developmental wrestlers Kevin Matthews and Krissy Vaine. Kevin and Krissy contacted the front offices of WXW and asked to make one last appearance in WXW to bid the fans, wrestlers and friends “goodbye” as they move to Georgia to join Smooth Tommy Suede in WWE’s Deep South Wrestling developmental territory. What will Kevin and Krissy have to say to the fans and will it be a fond farewell?
Also, the Platinum Icons will take on “The Midnight Cowboy” Greg Matthews and a partner of his choosing, Kris Krude, CJ O’Doyle, Dr Spider, and so much more!
WXW fans have become familiar with Mountainville Memorial Hall, a popular venue that has hosted a number of WXW shows and television tapings, including the legendary Holiday Extravaganza that featured the first-ever women’s steel cage match. Directions to the building can be found at www.wxwwrestling.com and tickets may be purchased at the door.
WXW would also like to remind viewers to tune in to Rage TV, which airs every Saturday on Blue Ridge Cable TV, Sunday on Service Electric Cable TV and via a free netcast on www.wxwwrestling.com.
