Southern Championship Wrestling will invade the Mulberry Rec Center on Saturday, March 4th.

On that night fans will see in action: The American Dream Dusty Rhodes taking on WWE's Own Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Also in a second main event: The Original Midnight Express -- Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton will challenge The Powers of Pain -- Warlord and Barbarian.

And JUST ANNOUNCED: The infamous David Wills who wrestling fans around the world will remember as the "Crying Wrestling Fan" who believed it was "STILL REAL TO ME" will serve as the Guest Ring Announcer for the Main Events that Evening!!!

SCW Returns to Carolinas!

Fresh off an amazing night in Conway High School which saw over 1300 people jam in to see what turned out to be an amazing evening for wrestling fans.

For starters, who ever would have imagined that The New Age Outlaws would call Jeff Hardy to team with them against the Midnight Express?!?! Fans also will never forget that 20 foot high steel cage which put The American Dream Dusty Rhodes against the hardcore icon - Terry Funk. Funk later tried to use his famous flaming branding iron but to no avail as Dusty turned the tables on him. Finally, could the place have gotten any louder when Greg "The Hammer" Valentine won the SCW World title over Doug Gilbert?

SCW once again returns to action on Saturday, MARCH 4th in Lenoir, NC at the Mulberry Rec Center. As announced earlier today, Tammy "Sunny" Sytch will be participating in SCW's HeatWave 2005 from the Nashville Fairgrounds. There is no word on what Tammy's role will be within the huge event planned but fans can bet that Tammy will be in Nashville with a purpose!

SCW officials also announced today, with the signing of Tammy Sytch to the event, they will be doing a very special tribute to Chris Candido. Chris as everyone knows was suddenly taken from us all last month, and SCW joined with the rest of the world in mourning Chris' passing. On June 18th, SCW plans to make the night that much more SPECIAL with the "Chris Candido Appreciation Night" where SCW will pay special tribute to a man they all considered a great friend!

With just under 18 days to go till SCW's Heatwave 2005, everyone including those at SCW continue to wonder just what till TNA do to accept the challenge set forth by the Champion Doug Gilbert and the CEO of SCW.
