PWU, with the help of Championship Committe member Frank Goodman, is pleased to announced that Billy Gunn has signed to wrestle at The Animal House on Friday May 20, 2005. So far Homicide and Billy Gunn are both signed to appear on May 20th. Billy Gunn's opponent will be announced at the One Night Stand event this Friday night Feb 25th.

Steve Corino and Mana the Polynesian Warrior were in the house showing their support for PWU

Match 1: The Salvation (Brutal Judas Gray and Mad JT Moses) w/John Diamond, Vixen, and Dr. Don Bootz defeated the team of Din Mak and Bombboy w/ Luscious Lilly. Really stiff encounter and a rowdy opener. Salvation are a brand new tag team formed at the Animal House, this was their debut match. Post match saw Salvation snap on the rookie tag team, Lilly ran in to save her team but was viciously attacked and choked with Dr. Dons rabies pole.

Match 2: Ashe Samuels defeated Ron Starr w/ Marcus Dowling. Ashe ran down the fans of Philly rubbing in the recent Eagles loss in the Super Bowl. Finish saw Rockin' Rebel and Greg Spitz take out Ron so Ashe could get the roll up victory. Ashe is a true heel.

Match 3: Damien Destruction & Max Havoc defeated Ryan Loot & The Saint.

Match 4: Rockin Rebel w/ Saul S. Steinburk III defeated Greg Spitz and Cabbie in a raucous three way encounter. All three combatants employed some great psychological comedy. Rebel and Spitz took the advantage working together as a team, this lead to Ron Starr emerging from the back in an attempt to avenge his earlier loss due to Rebel and Spitz.

Intermission

Match 5: John Kermon defeated Malik with a vicious lariat.

Match 6: Battle Royal. This was a rumble-style match with a new entrant entering the ring every minute. Starting the match was Kevin James and the Brutal One Judas Gray, 1/2 of Salvation. The Match continued through 12 wrestlers without any elimination. All PWU wrestlers including Dr Spider, Chris Miller, Lucky, Davey Mae, Mike Brown, Angus, Arimus, John Lynch, Mad JT Moses, Saul III, and Hulk Hayden put great efforts forth. A classic managerial clash was seen when Saul S. Steinburk III was eliminated from the match by Salvation, and he was ejected from ringside by Salvation's manager Dr Don Bootz by way of his rabies pole. The final four combatants were Salvation (JT Moses and Judas Gray), Mike Brown, and Dr Spider. A miscommunication lead to the elimination of Salvation with Mike Brown emerging as the victor. Rockin rebel and Greg Spitz helped Mike Brown Celebrate his victory with a steel chair shot. Johnny Kashmere and Mike Kehner ran in to make the save.

No Work Zone: After Kashmere and Kehner regained control of the show; they thanked the crowd for coming to the inaugural PWU show in our new home The Animal House. Championship committee member Mike Kehner introduced the unified Kapow / PWU Women's Title which will be up for grabs in the following match.

Match 7: Alere Little Feather defeated Cindy Rogers for the Unified Women's Title. This was a back and forth battle between these two competitors. The crowd responded to this great technical battle enthusiastically.

Match 8: Trent Acid defeated Drew Blood and Devon Moore in a fast paced three-way encounter. Devon and Drew mocked Trent by doing impression of the Backseat Boyz. This brought out the Italian Ire of Trent Acid and the match became stiff in a hurry. Acid won after executing his patented shovel driver maneuver.

PWU Returns to the Animal House for another Student Showcase on Saturday March 12th.
