PREVIOUS UPDATES:
Check Out The Monster Factory's "Hot Shot" Mike Reed's chance to show if he has what it takes on WWE's SMACKDOWN this week on UPN. Check your local listings for date and time.
Self-claimed "Blue Anchor's Greatest Athlete" Robert Pigeon (201 lbs) from Blue Anchor, NJ pinned Justin Riblet from Leeds Point, NJ (170 lbs) in 8:03.
In a very physical tag team match, the team of El Tornado (210 lbs) from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Luis "the Punisher" Martinez (250 lbs) from New York City defeated J. T. Matthews (275 lbs) from Pittsburgh, PA and Rodney "Superstar" Farr (245 lbs) from Hamilton, NJ in 11:36 when Martinez and El Tornado executed their South of Heaven from the top turnbuckle and El Tornado pinned Matthews.
Cindy Rogers from Hartford, CT made her Winslow debut very successful by pinning "The Brick City Soldier" Sal DeFalco (165 lbs) from Brick City in 6:51 much to the crowd's delight.
Cliff Compton (250 lbs) from Nassau County, NY met the Austrian Assassin (260 lbs) from the Republic of Austria (accompanied by his manager Caleb Decker aka "The Entrepreneur") in a very physical match that at times resembled a street fight more than a wrestling match. Both were disqualified at 8:03. Compton grabbed "The Entrepreneur" and took his suit jacket and left for the back with it. "The Entrepreneur" was so upset that he took a chair and viciously threw it against the wall while leaving the arena. Much bad blood still remains here.
Matt Striker (235 lbs) New York City, NY met Mike "The Hot Shot" Reed (225 lbs) from Hollywood, CA and defeated him using the sleeper hold in 6:22. While Reed was asleep, Striker "borrowed" a woman's pocket book from the crowd and found a tube of red lipstick in it. He then drew a clown's face on Reed with the lipstick and wrote "Kick Me" on his back. At this point, Striker awoke Reed with a hard slap to the back. Immediately all of the crowd started calling him a clown and Reed had no idea why. At Striker's encouragement, the ref kicked Reed in his rear end - upsetting Reed greatly. Striker now asked if anyone in the crowd had a mirror and when someone gave him one Reed became furious to see that he looked like a clown. He ran to the back embarrassed. Striker left to everyone's cheers.
OTW Official Jim Molineaux came to the ring to make some announcements and to give away some gifts. He asked if Matt Striker would come back out and draw the winning numbers. After giving away the second gift, OTW Delaware Valley Champion Nasty Nick (accompanied by his manager Caleb Decker aka "The Entrepreneur") came out and started yelling that this was his time and that no more prizes better be given out. He then climbed into ring and attacked Molineaux. Striker had to make the save.
Nasty Nick (290 lbs) from Oakland, CA (accompanied by his manager Caleb Decker aka "The Entrepreneur") was now in the ring alone and was in an extremely nasty mood even for Nasty Nick. He issued an open challenge for anyone in the back to come out and try to take the OTW Delaware Valley Championship from him. Tired of Nick's antics, Luis "the Punisher" Martinez (250 lbs) from New York City came running out and accepted the challenge. However, Nick turned out to have to much for Martinez on this night and pinned him in 4:49 retaining his belt.
OTW PRESS RELEASE
The OTW booking committee, that after looking over many tapes sent to us by several talented and hungry wrestlers, is proud to announce the addition of four to our current roster and will debt this Friday night, April 22nd at Paintball InvasionWinslow in Township, N.J. Everyone we looked at are very talented wrestlers, but what stood out the most, is their professional attitude and having the common goal of family oriented quality matches.
The first addition we have already announced is ALLISON DANGER. Allison is has great technical wrestling skills(she tries to keep it “old school”), but can mix it up and brawl with the best. Allison has wrestled all over the world and will be a worthy opponent to Cindy Rogers.
Next, BREAKER MORANT. Breaker is one to mix it from the start. He has wrestled all up and down the North Eastern portion of the U.S., which can tend to make one hungry to make it to the top. Breaker is hard working and hard hitting. He says he’s willing to take on anyone on the OTW roster, and he means anyone.
Third is, STEVE THE TEACHER. Steve comes to us with an impressive resume of opponents. In just a few short years, he has wrestled such legends of the ring as Doink The Clown and Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. Steve’s wrestling skills are only out weighed by his devious mind set. Steve claims to be coming to OTW to teach a new lesson plan on wrestling.
Finally, the last one is KAGE. At, 6' 1" and 295 lbs., Kage is the most impressive physical addition to the OTW roster. Kage is another one who has shown his hunger for wrestling, by traveling all over the country to prove himself. The one question is, Who will feel the Rage of the monster known as KAGE?
See these additions to the OTW roster in action, along with our current roster this Friday night, in Winslow Township, N.J. at Paintball Invasion, located at 192 S. Rt. 73. All tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased in advance at The Monster Factory or at the door the night of the event. The Monster Factory is located at 1000 Gateway Blvd. In Westville, N.J. For more information and directions, call 856-456-5000. Or go to www.monsterfactory.com.
