NWA PRO WRESTLING EXPRESS RESULTS
October 15, 2005
Sportatorium - McKeesport, PA
Armageddon & Devil Bhudakahn defeated the Tri Chi Fraternity & Daron Smythe by pinfall
Chris Taylor & Scott Venom defeated Sabotage & Teddy Fine by pinfall
Three Rivers Champion Eric Extasy defeated Seth James by disqualification
NWA-PWX Tag Team Champions Quinn Magnum & Brandon K defeated Endangered Species by pinfall
Bigg defeated Paul Atlas by pinfall
Nikita Allanov defeated Devin Devine by submission to win the Brass Knuckles Title
Devil Bhudakahn won a battleroyal to win the Brass Knuckles Title
NWA-PWX Heavyweight Champion Scottie Gash defeated Justin Idol, Crusher Hansen, and Mad Mike to retain the title
The show started off with 987's Scott Venom and the rest of the crew coming to the ring and demanding that Scottie Gash and Quinn Magnum & Brandon K of Rage come to the ring and hand over their titles. Gash come to the ring and refused, and said that he didn't care who he had to wrestle from 987 tonight, because he was going to walk away as the champion. Venom said that there was little chance of that happening, because he was going to be fighting his former tag team partner Justin Idol. 987 then attacked Gash, but the rest of Rage hit the ring to make the save. 987 quickly retreated to the lockeroom, but Rage followed them in and continued to brawl. The fight came back into the arena, and the rest of the lockeroom followed them out, and tried to restore order.
The opening match saw Apocalypse's Devil Bhudakahn and Armageddon get a big win over the Tri Chi Fraternity and Daron Smythe. Smythe took a beating in this match, but after he made the tag to Blitzz, Paul Atlas came from the lockeroom and started working him over at ringside. This left the Tri Chi's at a 2-on-3 disadvantage and after Bhudakahn got Hammer out of the ring Rapture and Revelation hit Blitzz with a double Urinage Suplex to get the pinfall.
987's Scott Venom & Chris Taylor took got a solid win over Sabotage & Teddy Fine after Taylor nailed Fine with a Diamondcutter to get the pinfall. Sabotage and Fine started very hot and hit some nice double team moves, but some shenanigans from Jazmynn Viktoria at ringside gave the advantage back to 987. Sabotage & Fine staged an impressive comeback, but the cheating ways of Taylor & Venom prevailed, as Viktoria distracted Fine, which allowed Taylor to sneak in with the Diamondcutter, and for 987 to pick up the win.
Three Rivers Champion Eric Extasy called out Seth James next, and said he wanted a piece of him for what he did to Krystal Frost. James and manager BC Steele hit the ring, and a wild pier-sixer broke out. Extasy started out giving it to James, but the much more brawl-experienced James took it, and began to fight back. Extasy was down, but refused to stay down, and James just kept coming after him, and frustration built. James finally retrieved a street sign and went to town on Extasy, but when senior official Shawn Patrick tried to take the sign from James, he threw it at Patrick, earning the DQ. With Extasy laid out James and Steele headed back to the Locke, and Patrick got the mic and said that he had it within his authority to suspend James for laying his hands on an official, and promptly suspended James indefinitely.
The first teaming of Apocalypse's Mantis and Eisen Drache was not enough to take the PWX Tag Team Championship from Rage's Brandon K & Quinn Magnum. CJ Sensation's charges showed absolutely no fear though, and started the match by taking the fight to the much bigger duo. Mantis and Drache tried to work over the smaller of the duo, K, but he experience factor countered that, and then when Magnum tagged in he overpowered both men. Magnum laid out Mantis with the .44 Magnum and K followed with a Diving Headbutt to get the pinfall.
After intermission, Bigg picked up a win over Paul Atlas, which really set Atlas off on Daron Smythe. This was a great back and forth match between two vets that saw Atlas working over Bigg, but cheating his ass off to keep the advantage. Finally Smythe came from the back, in retaliation for Atlas's interference in his match, and went after Atlas. Atlas caught Smythe, but was distracted long enough for Bigg to nail a pumphandle powerslam and get the pinfall. After the match Atlas got the mic and went off on Smythe, and issuing a challenge for Halloween Hell on 10/29, and saying he was going to bring "professional wrestling back to PWX".
Nikita Allanov became the first ever four-time Brass Knuckles Champion when he pulled off an upset win over Devin Devine. Devine and fellow 987 member Chris Taylor and Jazmynn Viktoria attacked Allanov as the Russian entered the ring, and Taylor got the mic an announced that this match was being fought under "987 Rules". Taylor, Devine and Viktoria worked over Allanov the whole match, with everything being legal. Allanov was barely able to stand, but he somehow managed to nail Taylor with a Russian Sickle, to end his interference. Devine tried to hit Allanov with the belt, but he missed and Allanov hit a Russian Leg Sweep, and then locked in the Siberian Stranglehold, and Devine tapped out. Scott Venom came to ringside and said that he was going to fire Allanov, but Viktoria told him that it was probably not a good idea. Venom agreed, and said he was just going to make sure he got his ass beat, sop Venom ordered Allanov, who had trouble even standing, to defend the title right now in a battle royal. The remaining members of 987 filled the ring, followed by the Apocalypse. The bell rang to start the match and the Tri Chi's, Eric Extasy, Daron Smythe and Dan Miles hit the ring, to even out the sides. The 987 boys kept their attention almost solely on Allanov, which backfired in away because they al started getting picked off by the rest of the guys in the battle royal, which left a final 6 men of Hammer, Allanov, 987's Venom, and the Apocalypse's Devil Bhudakahn and Armageddon. Venom and Bhudakahn went right after Allanov, and Armageddon went after Hammer. Allanov somehow managed to Sickle Venom and himself out of the ring, leaving a 3-on-1 against Hammer. Hammer wasn't able to overcome the odds, which left three members of Apocalypse in the ring. Blitzz came back to ringside to check on his partner, and Bhudakahn motioned for Rapture and Revelation to leave the ring, and both men eliminated themselves, making Devil Bhudakahn your new Brass Knuckles Champion, and giving Bhudakahn his first singles championship in the NWA.
The main event of the evening saw Scottie Gash retain the PWX heavyweight Title, but not the title belt. Gash and Idol started off the match in a very intense brawl, but soon after the match started Crusher Hansen hit the ring from 987, and it became a 2-on-1 affair, as was the theme of the night. But suddenly Mad Mike's music hit and he hit the ring and went right after Hansen, and a wild brawl broke out. Shawn Patrick ordered the match to be re-started as a four-way, and the brawl continued with Rage members battling the 987 members. Gash managed to lay Idol out with his Spotlight Drop suplex, and got the pin, but Hansen immediately attacked, followed by the rest of 987. Quinn Magnum and Brandon K ran in thru the front door next, but were caught in the act by 987, and laid out as well. With Venom, Idol, Devin, Hansen and Taylor laying the boots to Mike, Magnum, Gash and K, Scott Venom grabbed Gash's PWX title and stormed to the lockeroom with it. As members of Rage staggered up they went straight for the front door and the lockeroom, and demanded the belts back, and a wild brawl broke out in the parking lot and the backstage area, with 987 holding on to the belt.
