4-ON-4 ELIMINATION TAG MATCH
NWA-PWX Heavyweight Champion "King of Men" DEVIN DEVINE,
Three Rivers Champion "Mr. 21st Century" CHRIS TAYLOR, and
NWA-PWX Tag Team Champions DA MUNCHIES
~versus~
"Stab Master Homicide" BIGG,
"Soviet Shooter" NIKITA ALLANOV, and
the TRI CHI FRATERNITY

This match is not about championships, it is about pride! This match is guaranteed to be intense as the champions step into the ring with their top challengers. There is no running, no hiding, no cheap and easy way out of a war that is at its boiling point! Devin, Taylor, Trimmins, and Hassan all hold NWA-PWX gold, and on Saturday night, they will face their most persistent challengers in a huge 4-on-4 elimination tag team match. One simple pinfall will not end this match, as the match will continue until each member of one team has been eliminated.

Bigg had the Heavyweight Championship within his grasp on April 16th, but Chris Taylor caused a disqualification which led to Devine retaining the title. The "Stab Master Arsonist" wants nothing more than to become the NWA-PWX Heavyweight Champion for a second time by pinning Devine to win the title. Chris Taylor has been nearly untouchable for the past year, and Nikita Allanov doesn't care about the Three Rivers Championship around Taylor's waist, he just wants to destroy "Mr. 21st Century". Taylor has relied heavily on the numbers game to turn back the challenge of the "Soviet Shooter", but on Saturday night, all of his allies will be there from the moment the bell rings, and Allanov will have backup of his own!

Da Munchies won the NWA-PWX Tag Team Titles after attacking and injuring the leg of Blitzz before the title match even began. Blitzz has made a full recovery, and now he and Hammer are looking to get their titles back, and they want nothing more than to get their hands on Trimmins & Hassan to earn that title shot. Da Munchies might duck challengers, but they wont be able to duck the Tri Chi's this Saturday!

What competitors will survive this Saturday? Not all of them can walk way as winners, but one team will walk away with all four men having been beaten individually. Who will be the ultimate survivor? Be there and find out!

NWA PRO WRESTLING EXPRESS
SATURDAY APRIL 16th- 7:30 pm
SPORTATORIUM - 3104 WALNUT ST. McKEESPORT, PA

NWA Pro Wrestling Express returns to action with yet another huge card this Saturday, April 16th! The action begins when the doors to the infamous Sportatorium open at 7:30 pm! The Sportatorium is located at 3104 Walnut St. in McKeesport, PA. Tickets for this event are only $10 for VIP seating, $9 for general admission, and kids under 12 years are only $6 - the best ticket value in entertainment in Pittsburgh today!

NWA-PWX HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
"King of Men" DEVIN DEVINE
defends the championship against the challenge of
"Stab Master Arsonist" BIGG

This promises to be a war! NWA-PWX Heavyweight Champion Devin Devine will put the area's most prestigious championship on the line against "Stab Master Arsonist" Bigg. Injuries have hobbled Bigg over much of the past six months, but after an extended period out of the ring, Bigg is back and is a man on a mission! Bigg has his eyes set on taking the championship from around the waist of the cocky champion. Devine has taken to calling himself a fighting champion, but his title reign thus far seems to have nothing more than an elaborate ruse to keep from defending the title against an actual challenger. Well, a real challenger has stepped to the plate, and on Saturday night April 16th Bigg will get his shot, one-on-one, with the "King of Men", and the championship will be on the line!

THREE RIVERS TITLE MATCH
"Mr. 21st Century" CHRIS TAYLOR
defends the championship against the challenge of
"Soviet Shooter" NIKITA ALLANOV

Chris Taylor may be the most dominant Three Rivers Champion of all time, but this match is not about titles, it is about revenge! Nikita Allanov has one thought in his head, and that is destroying Chris Taylor. Taylor has managed to outsmart the "Soviet Shooter" every step of the way so far, but each time he has had help, and an elaborate plan. This time, it is one-on-one, Taylor versus Allanov, with the title on the line. Will Allanov be able to capture the only singles championship in NWA-PWX that has eluded him so far, or will Taylor sneak out another victory, and hold on to the gold?

BRASS KNUCKLES TITLE MATCH
"Upgrade" TYRONE EVANS
defends the title against the challenger
"#1" DARON SMYTHE

The shoe is on the other foot. Daron Smythe got cocky, let his guard down, and had no answer for the massively popular Tyrone Evans on April 2nd, and he lost the Brass Knuckles Championship. The rematch has been signed, but now Smythe is on the outside looking in, as Evans has the chance to pick the stipulations for this match. Will Smythe be able to pull off a victory to prove his loss was a fluke, or will the "Upgrade" to the Brass Knuckles Championship continue with another big victory from Evans?

SIX-MAN TAG TEAM ACTION
DUH
squares off with
the SUPER DUPER COOL DUDES & ERIC EXTASY

For Justin Idol & Scottie Gash to ever get another shot at the NWA-PWX Tag Team Titles, they are going to have to get thru team DUH: Syko Sean, Dash Bennett, and Kid Cupid. To even the playing field, the Super Duper Cool Dudes have recruited a partner: Eric Extasy. Three of the most charismatic wrestlers in Pittsburgh will take on three of the strangest, and a tag title shot is on the line! Since this match was announced on April 2nd the internet and the cell phones have been burning up! This is what every fan, promoter and wrestler in the area is talking about! Don't be left out by missing this match, see it live and in person this Saturday night!

plus...

BRANDON K & CRUSHER HANSEN
-vs.-
DEVIL BHUDAKAHN & ADAM CAGE

Brandon K made his surprise return to wrestling by answering an open challenge by Adam Cage, but K didn't pick up a clean win, and was laid out by the madman from Cleveland. He has signed on to be the partner of Crusher Hansen in his wart with the Devil Bhudakahn, who has a restraining order against Hansen, which prevents the "Hangman" from putting his hands on the "Anti-Christ Luchador". This match has been signed with a huge stipulation: If K & Hansen win, then the restraining order will be terminated, and Hansen will be able to get his hands on Bhudakahn. But if Bhudakahn & Cage pull out the win, then close personal friend of Hansen - Rapture, must permanently retire from professional wrestling.

plus...

NWA Pro Wrestling Express Tag Team Champions Da Munchies and Championship Committee member Scott Venom are all tired of Hammer & Blitzz, the Tri Chi Fraternity, sticking their noses in their business, where they say it doesn't belong. Venom has used his position and influence to set up a surprise for the Tri Chi's this Saturday. Will it be a match against the tag team champions? Will he suspend them, for helping Quinn Magnum embarrass Venom on April 2nd? Does Venom have a roadblock between the Tri Chi's and a shot at regaining the Tag Team Championship?

All of these matches and more have been signed for this Saturday night April 16th! If you are not at the Sportatorium at 7:30 pm this Saturday night, then you will miss the most intense, hard hitting, mat pounding wrestling action in the Pittsburgh area and in the National Wrestling Alliance today! Nobody puts on a show like NWA Pro Wrestling Express!!! Be there Saturday night April 16th to see it how it was intended to be seen - live and in person!

***SIX MAN TAG TEAM MAIN EVENT***
Three Rivers Champion "Mr. 21st Century" CHRIS TAYLOR and NWA-PWX Tag Team Champions DA MUNCHIES w/ KRYSTAL FROST
~versus~
NWA-PWX Heavyweight Champion "King of Men" DEVIN DEVINE, "Soviet Shooter" NIKITA ALLANOV, and "Stab Master Arsonist" BIGG
When NWA Pro Wrestling Express features a six-man tag team match as the main event, it usually is guaranteed to be a violent and exciting match, and the match scheduled for March 19th does not seem to be any different. There is pure hatred between all of these competitors, and when the bell rings to start this match on Saturday night, there is no telling what is going to happen.
Three Rivers Champion Chris Taylor has become one of the most hated wrestlers in the NWA, and appears to be at the top of his game. After pulling off the upset win in 'Burgh Brawl '05, Taylor earned a match against NWA-PWX Champion Devin Devine, and after coming out on the losing end of the title match, Taylor set out on a mission to cripple the King of Men. Sneak attacks by Taylor and NWA-PWX Tag Team Champions Da Munchies have left Nikita Allanov laid out on more than one occasion, and the angry russian has a bloodlust for all three men. With the always unpredictable Bigg riding shotgun, Devine suddenly has found a trio that is more than willing to rumble with Taylor & Da Munchies - and Saturday night the ring will explode when these two teams collide! NWA Pro Wrestling Express is the only place to be for this kind of excitement and action - bar none!

***BRASS KNUCKLES TITLE MATCH***
"#1" DARON SMYTHE w/ BENJAMIN C. STEELE
~defends the championship against~ SULLY
Sully has looked impressive since arriving in NWA-PWX, and after winning a fatal four-way to become the top contender to Daron Smythe's Brass Knuckles Championship, he will get a chance to add championship gold to his resume. "#1" Daron Smythe has been a dominant Brass Knuckles Champion, but will his reign come an end at the hands of the brutal big man Sully? What will Smythe's manager Benjamin C. Steele do to insure victory, considering it was his idea to put Sully in the contender's match in the first place?

***ADAM CAGE ISSUES AN OPEN CHALLENGE ***
"No Monikers Needed" ADAM CAGE has been as serious a competitor to enter NWA Pro Wrestling Express in recent history, and he has racked up a number of impressive wins in his time with the company, but he and manager STACY HUNTER feel that he is not getting the credit, or the competition, that he deserves. After picking up yet another big win on March 5th, Cage has issued an open challenge to any wrestler competing for NWA-PWX: sign a contract for a match on March 19th. If the top competition isn't going to be signed to face Cage, he is going to call them out... but who will answer the challenge?

and...

SCOTT VENOM has not only declared that come hell or high water, he will issue his "State of the Company" address this Saturday night, but that he demands that every wrestler in the lockerroom be present at ringside for his address - including QUINN MAGNUM. One of Venom's first acts as part of the Championship Committee was to suspend Magnum... is the newest member of the NWA-PWX Championship Committee already abusing his power, with less than a month on the job?

Plus, more of your NWA Pro Wrestling Express favorites will be in action, including
"Hangman" CRUSHER HANSEN, "Aerial Icon" JUSTIN IDOL, the TRI CHI FRATERNITY, "Best Wrestler...EVER" SABOTAGE, "Anti-Christ Luchador" DEVIL BHUDAKAHN, the return of "Upgrade" TYRONE EVANS, and the Pittsburgh wrestling debuts of HERETIC and SAM SANDERS.

SHOW NEWS AND NOTES
NWA Pro Wrestling Express kicked off 2005 with a solid show that had a great turn out. Weather had been bad all week, with a ton of rain being dumped on the area, and a lot of flash floods and the whole city being a wet mess. It dried out a bit though Saturday, and even with playoff football on television, the Sportatorium was packed.

The shock of the night came after the Heavyweight Title Match. The show started with Brandon K calling out his challenger Devin Devine, and the two going at it before being pulled apart. There was a lot of hype for this match, which was actually a rematch of the 2004 Match of the Year from the 10th Anniversary show last September. Originally scheduled for the 12/18 card, Brandon K mysteriously no showed the match, with Devine claiming K was scared to face him, and the match being pushed back to this show. The match started off hot with an exchange of lefts and rights with K in control of things. Devine pulled a short-arm powerslam out of nowhere. K began to mount a comeback, and he went for a springboard moonsault but Devine escaped and began a brutal attack on K's ribs. Devine had K set up for the Memphis Neckbreaker, but K beautifully turned it into a K-Driver. The injured ribs wouldn't allow K to hold up Devine, and he dropped the challenger, who rolled the champ up for a two count. Devine began to lay the boots into K, who managed to catch Devine with two back-to-back snap suplexes. A running forearm got a two count, which was followed with a crucifix by K for another two count. Devine reversed an Irish whip and hit a sunset flip but Devine rolled through, only to be met by a beautiful pedigree by K, which Devine almost didn't kick out from. K went for a quick victory roll, but Devine dropped down in the middle of the roll for a clean pinfall, to become a two-time heavyweight champion.

DUH came out to the ring and helped Devine celebrate, making a complete mockery out of Spyral's send off after he won the Three Rivers Title on the 12/18 show. Devine even told Cupid what words of congratulations to say to him over the mic. Crusher Hansen had none of it though, and leveled DUH with a number of chair shots after they hoisted Devine up on their shoulders. Hansen then held the belt up and pointed at Devine, and said he wanted a piece of him.

The big shock of the night was what came next, as Brandon K grabbed the mic and said that might have been his final match, and that he was announcing his retirement. He said he hoped it was only temporary, because he wanted to come back and wrestle Hansen for the title after he beat Devine for it. Some of the guys from the lockerroom came out, and the fans gave K a big standing ovation as he left the ring. K's announcement came as a complete shock, and more info will be posted on this shortly on www.pwxonline.com.
In other title news, the Championship Committee announced that after 30 days, Spyral would be stripped of the Three Rivers Championship. Spyral won the title on his last date with NWA-PWX before having knee surgery and heading down to OVW. First round matches were held. The first match saw a returning Scottie Gash pull out the win over Devil Bhudakahn. This was the first match between these two in an NWA ring, and it was a very solid match. Before the match, Gash did a ringside interview and Benjamin C. Steele asked him why he shook hands with Brandon K after losing a match to him in November. Gash said that he does what he wants to do, and Steele took that to mean that Gash was once again "up to something". As the match started, Devil seemed to have things under control when Crusher Hansen came to ringside and started talking to Devil's manager: BC Steele. Hansen popped Steele and Devil became distracted by Hansen at ringside, and yelled to him that he had a restraining order and he couldn't touch him. Devil then turned and was hooked by Gash for a Spotlight Drop, but Devil reversed it into a Father Nelson Suplex, but Gash managed to reverse the hold back to the Spotlight Drop, and got the pinfall. The fans were behind Gash in this one completely. Afterwards, Steele seemed perplexed about what it was Gash was up to.

In the other tournament match, Hansen squared off with Scott Venom. Hansen was really taking it to Venom in this one, when Steele grabbed Hansen's foot. Hansen went out of the ring to get Steele, and he was attacked by Daron Smythe & Devil, and Venom ended up winning the match by countout as Hansen brawled to the back. After the match, Venom got the stick and once again pleaded with Jim Miller to address his addition to the Championship Committee. Miller wouldn't come forward, so Venom continued to put himself over, and said that he had an idea that he thinks would bring Miller to the table and consider putting him on the committee.

Nikita Allanov squared off with Adam Cage in a "Post Whippin' Match" that was very wild. Cage attacked Allanov outside the ring, and the two brawled all over the Sportatorium, with Allanov getting control in the ring. As soon as Allanov went for a cover, Stacy Hunter was on the ring apron distracting referee Harold Potter. The two put on a very brutal match with Hunter constantly running interference from ringside. Cage ended up locking Allanov in an abdominal stretch, with Hunter adding a bit of leverage. Potter saw the blatant cheating and kicked her off, and allowed Allanov to hip toss Cage. Allanov then locked on the Siberian Stranglehold, but broke the hold when Hunter climbed into the ring. Allanov leveled her with a very nasty Russian Sickle, and grabbed her belt, asking the crowd if he should "whip her ass". Potter took the belt from Allanov, which allowed Cage to dig into his kneepads for a pair of brass knux, which he used on Allanov as Potter tried to clear Hunter from the ring. Cage made the cover and got the pin, and the fans started chanting "bullshit". Allanov started to recover and argued with Potter that he was hit with something, but Potter said he didn't see Cage have anything.

Allanov then got the mic and said that this match was his idea, and that he might have been screwed over, but he was man enough to live up to his word. Allanov then snatch ed the rope from Potter and all but tied himself to the ringpost. Cage was going nuts and taunting the fans as he lit into Allanov's back with ten viscous lashes. Allanov managed to get back to his feet for every lash though, to the amazement of both Cage and Hunter. The fans chanted "Nikita" with every lash, but after he took the ten, Allanov finally stayed down, and the ringside doctor was in the ring checking on him. Referees came to the ring to cut the ropes off of Allanov, who was struggling to get to his feet, and was resisting medical help. Chris Taylor came to the ring with Krystal Frost, and said it was time for Allanov to get the hell out of the ring during his promo time, and to quit milking it in front of the fans and acting like a baby. Taylor then ripped on Eisen Drache, one of Allanov's students at the Pittsburgh Wrestling Academy, who was at ringside checking on his trainer. Allanov really wanted to go after Taylor, but after the lashes, he just didn't have it in him, and he was held back and taken to the lockerroom. Taylor then proceeded to run down how he was Three Rivers Champion for nearly six months, and how the man who walked out of the Sportatorium on 12/18 with his belt didn't even pin him to win it. Taylor said he deserved to have the belt handed to him, because he was a star. Ring Announcer Buff Wilhelm then informed Taylor that the Championship Committee wanted him to announce that on the January 22nd show, Taylor and Justin Idol would square off in a Second Round Tournament match, with the winner advancing to the finals that same night. This seemed to make Taylor very happy. Taylor had already gotten a solid win earlier in the night against "Malibu" Sean Callaway. NWA Virginia regular Callaway turned in a very solid showing in his NWA-PWX debut, and appeared to have Taylor pretty well scouted, but came up short after Taylor hit him with a nice Diamondcutter to get the pinfall. Taylor is despised by the Sportatorium fans, but they just didn't seem to get behind Callaway at all, and Taylor used that to his advantage.

Also making the trip up from NWA Virginia were Quicksylver and Alex Sage, who Stacy Hunter managed to get a shot at the Tag Team Titles. DUH was scheduled to take on both the Tri Chi Fraternity and Da Munchies in separate matches, but as Kid Cupid so eloquently put it, Trimmins and Hassan were not there because the holidays wore them out. Hunter said that she had the breakout team from Virginia and they wanted a title shot, and the Tri Chi's obliged, making it a triangle tag title match. The action was steady in this one, with Cupid seconding Sean Dahmer and Dash Bennett in this match. Sage & Quicksylver looked good here, and they were in the ring most of the match, with DUH more content to let the newcomers take the beating from the powerful tag champs. The Tri Chi's got the win after hitting the Hell Week double chokeslam on Quicksylver.

Daron Smythe managed to hold on to the Brass Knuckles Championship against Jason Cage in a Lumberjack match. Smythe got to pick all of the lumberjacks in this one, so Cage was really outnumbered. He took it to Smythe early, with the champion bailing out of the ring, but Smythe was really just setting Cage up, and he took the bait. Smythe calmly rolled back in as the lumberjacks pounded on Cage on the outside. Smythe has been trying to teach Cage a lesson about wrestling, and it was obvious here, because Smythe consistently cut Cage off with solid wrestling moves when Cage would try to do something flashy. Smythe got the pinfall after a superplex on Cage, who got hung out on the top rope when one of the lumberjacks grabbed his foot. Smythe caught him with the superplex and got the pin, and just let him lay after the match, with no extra beatings or anything, he just walked away.

Eisen Drache took a beating at the hands of Pharoh. Pharoh, claiming a royal Egyptian bloodline, stalled heavily, forcing Senior Official Shawn Patrick to remove his ring robes, and then refusing to step into the ring against the very green rookie. The Sportatorium fans quickly hated Pharoh as he stalled, and turned on Drache when he didn't show aggression and go after him. Pharoh quickly exposed that Drache was not ring ready and started pounding him into the mat with some impressive power moves, but before he could pin him DUH hit the ring and laid the boots to Drache, who had to be helped to the back by officials.

NWA Pro Wrestling Express returns to the Sportatorium on Saturday January 22nd. Already signed are the semi-finals and finals of the Three Rivers Tournament, which has Scott Venom facing Scottie Gash, and Chris Taylor facing Justin Idol in the semis. NWA PRO WRESTLING EXPRESS KICKS OFF 2005 WITH JANUARY 8th EVENT

NWA Pro Wrestling Express kicks off the 2005 schedule on January 8th at the Sportatorium in McKeesport, PA. The Sportatorium is the place to see the most intense wrestling action in the Pittsburgh area, and 2005 starts off with another great night of wrestling action on Saturday the 8th of January!!! As always, tickets for this event are only $10 for front row seats, $9 for general admission, and tickets for kids under twelve years old are just $6!!!

Matches already signed for this event include...

NWA EAST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
"First Klass" BRANDON K defends the title against "King of Men" DEVIN DEVINE
Since losing the championship at the 10th Anniversary show, "King of Men" Devin Devine has had his mind on one thing - putting one of the most prestigious championships in the NWA back around his waist. Devine vowed to sink to any depth to get another title shot, and he has finally got what he wants. After being choked and punched with a chain, and after almost being suffocated, NWA East Heavyweight Champion Brandon K was thought to be itching for another match with Devine, but the champ boldly refused to defend the title against Devine on December 18th. This match has been signed, but will Devine get his rematch, or will the Championship Committee be forced to step in?

POST WHIPPIN' MATCH
"Soviet Shooter" NIKITA ALLANOV squares off with "No Monikers Needed" ADAM CAGE
There is a deep seeded hatred between these two men, and it will come to a head this January 8th in a "Post Whippin' Match". After cleanly pinning Cage in the middle of the ring on December 18th, Cage and manager Stacy Hunter once again attacked and whipped Allanov with leather belts. Allanov issued the challenge for this match, where the loser will face ten lashes with a leather belt. This match promises not to be for the faint of heart, as both men will go all out to avoid being whipped like a dog in the middle of the ring!

BRASS KNUCKLES TITLE LUMBERJACK MATCH
"The Centerpiece" DARON SMYTHE faces the challenge of JASON CAGE
Brass Knuckles Champion Daron Smythe has decided that the cold hard realities of professional wrestling need to slap Jason Cage right in the face - and this time Smythe doesn't want any veteran thinking they can spare Cage from learning a lesson in respect - so Smythe has declared that this match will be a Lumberjack Match - and he will hand pick all of the lumberjacks who will be at ringside. The odds are certainly stacked in favor of the Brass Knuckles titleholder, but will Cage have what it takes to pull of the upset win, and will he be able to do it by himself?

Plus...

Kid Cupid has signed for DUH to face NWA East Tag Team Champions Hammer & Blitzz, the Tri Chi Fraternity!!!

~and~ Dash Bennett has signed DUH to face off with Dick Trimmins & Sheiky Hassan, Da Munchies.
Delta Upsilon Eta maybe the most bizarre fraternity of all time, and now this hodge-podge group has managed to sign contracts for two matches on the same night! DUH is only three frat brothers strong, so how will they manage to pull off two matches against two of the top teams in NWA-PWX? No one is really sure if DUH even knows what they are doing, but both matches have been signed for Saturday!

BREAKING THREE RIVERS TITLE NEWS!!!
The NWA Pro Wrestling Express Championship Committee will have a full announcement regarding the future of the Three Rivers Championship this Saturday night. Spyral won the title on December 18th in his last match in NWA-PWX, and the Championship Committee has said that there will be a new champion crowned after January 18th - when the title is not defended within 30 days. How will a new champion be crowned? The Championship Committee will have the details on Saturday night!

Plus... more of your favorite NWA Pro Wrestling Express competitors will be in action, including "Hangman" CRUSHER HANSEN, "Mr. 21st Century" CHRIS TAYLOR, "Spotlight" SCOTTIE GASH, "Antichrist Luchadore" DEVIL BHUDAKAHN, SCOTT VENOM, and more!

SHOW NEWS & NOTES
NWA Pro Wrestling Express closed out 2004 with a very solid show that gave a glimpse into what is going to go down in 2005, and kicked off the winter months in Pittsburgh. This was the first "cold weather" show thsi winter, and even with Christmas a week away, there was a good turn out for the last show of the year.

The show started off with Benjamin C. Steele coming to the interview area and bringing out Spyral. Steele started the interview by saying that he thought it was a joke that Spyral was going to wrestle for OVW, because he knew about 50 wrestlers better than him that deserved to be looked at by the WWE. Spyral then said that he didn't care what Steele said, because he had a match against Chris Taylor tonight, and he was going to go out as the Three Rivers Champ, which brought Justin Idol to the ring. Idol said that Chris Taylor had issued a challenge, and that he showed up, and he was ready to face him one more time for the Three Rivers Title. Taylor hit the ringside area with Krystal Frost, and he said that neither man was leaving as the champion tonight, because Idol and Spyral would have to face each other, and that he would then face the winner, and that he hoped it would be Spyral, because he would be down in Louisville and he wouldn't have to face either of them.

For the first match, Stacy Hunter hit the ring with McGrath and Squig, who regularly team under the name Extreme. Hunter said she was going to make Extreme the new NWA East Tag Champs, which borught out the Tri Chi's, with frat girls Roxy and Trish in tow. Extreme looked good in their debuts, with both men having decent size and speed. They used their speed advantage to isolate Hammer, and they pounded him down, but the "Farrell Barrell" kept getting back up. Hammer used his size advantage when Squig wnet for a cross body, and Hammer caught him. McGrath tried to pile on with another cross body, but Hammer caught him as well, and gave both the fall away slam before making the tag to Blitzz. Blitzz came in on fire and was leveling both men, but when he went for a shoulder tackle on Squig, Hunter tripped him from the outside. Squig then muscled Blitzz up for a slam, and McGrath hit a beautiful Shooting Star Press, which nearly got the win. Hammer was back in to break up the double team on his partner, and as things broke down Blitzz hit an impressive sunset flip on Squig to get the pinfall. As soon as the match was over Delta Upsilon Eta, calling themselves DUH, hit the ring and tore into the Tri Chis. Roxy tried to pull Dash Bennett off of Hammer, but instead he just picked her up and took her to the back. Cupid and Sean Dahmer then held up the tag belts, before throwing them back down on Hammer & Blitzz, and walking to the lockerroom.

Scott Venom was out next, and he was dressed in a casual dress attire - nice slacks and a sweater. He said that he was re-dedicating himself to getting on the Championship Committee, no matter what he had to do. He said that all he needed was five minutes alone with NWA promoter Jim Miller, and he knows he could convince him that he had what it takes to help make decisions for this company, and that he would wrestle anyone or do anything to get on the Championship Committee. Venom then said that in the spirit of the holidays, he was going to wrestle one of the recent gradustaes of NWA-PWX's Pittsburgh Wrestling Academy. Ring announcer Buff Wilhelm brought out Eisen Drache, a tall masked junior heavyweight, whom Venom quickly disposed of in about a minute after a superkick.

Sebastian squared off with Devil Bhudakahn next, in a great back and forth match between two high flyers. This match had a lot of quick reversals and strikes by both men. Sebastian looked to be on top of his game, and he was fresh off of his appearance on Smackdown! two weeks ago. Devil, who has been impressive since his return to NWA-PWX last summer, was right there with Sebastian thru this match. Devil actually had the upper hand with help from Benjamin Steele, until Crusher Hansen hit ringside. Devil was distracted, and he reminded Hansen that he had a restraining order against him, and he couldn't touch him. Sebastian was allowed to hit him though, and he promptly nailed him and got the pinfall.

Da Munchies hit ringside next. Dick Trimmins was dressed as Santa Claus, and Sheiky Hassan was dressed as an elf, and they handed out gifts to the ringside fans. BC Steele and Youth Gone Wild hit the ring, and said that they could hand out all the gifts they wanted, but that Youth Gone Wild was on a mission to get a shot at the NWA East Tag Team Titles, and they wanted to wrestle Da Munchies right now to put away any doubt they were the top contenders. Da Munchies obliged. Da Munchies looked to be the better team, but they couldn't get a long stretch of offense in because Steele was all over the place, and Daniels & Graves were breaking every rule and taking every shotcut they could. Finally Da Munchies battled back after Sheiky hit a piledriver on Daniels, but at that point Dash Bennett came back out to ringside with Roxy, which caught the attention of Sheiky long enough for Cupid and Dahmer to hit the ring and get the match thrown out. Then YGW and DUH started beating down Da Munchies, leaving them laying in the ring. Without wrestling in one match tonight, DUH managed to take out what were arguably the top two tag teams in NWA-PWX.

After intermission, Devine Devine came to the ring with Paul Atlas. Devine said that he was angered because he had demanded a rematch with Brandon K for the Heavyweight Title, and the match had been signed, but yet Brandon K was not here tonight, and he was not going to get his shot. Atlas then ran down how Devine is being screwed over, and put over how great of a competitor and champion Devine is. This brought Sully out to the ring. Sully said that when he went after Justin Idol it was because he had been paid to do so, but now he was going after Devine because he wanted to. The two started going at it, with Devine having the early advantage over the bigger Sully. Sully managed to battle back and really took the fight to Devine, who decided to bail and took the countout loss. Say what you will about Devine, he is focused on the Heavyweight Title, and doesn't do anything to jeopardize his chances of getting a shot at that title, and a loss to a newcomer like Sully would do just that. Sully was impressive in this short showing, and after a good showing against Idol last month, he had a few fans behind him here. With his size, if he gets some momentum behind him, he could do some real damage in PWX.

Next up was the big grudge match between Adam Cage and Nikita Allanov. Cage and Stacy Hunter came to the ring with leather belts in hand. Allanov opened the match by punching Cage square in the face when he went for a lockup, and this became a total stiff-fest from the start. Allanov controlled early, until Cage took control on the outside. Cage then worked over the back of Allanov against the ring post and the apron, and then went to town in the ring with a series of suplexes. Cage made a mistake when he went up top, and Allanov caught him in the Siberian Stranglehold. Hunter tried to interfere, but got caught by Allanov. Allanov tried to pull her into the ring, which allowed Cage to get up. Cage charged at Allanov, who moved, causing Hunter to go flying off the apron to the floor. Hunter landed on her knee and was slow in getting up. As Cage turned back to the ring Allanov nailed him with a nasty Russian Sickle, and got the pinfall. As referee Harold Potter raised Allanov's arm, Cage attacked from behind with his strap, and he and Hunter went to town. Allanov's back was swollen and bruised after taking about fifteen shots from the belts before Cage and Hunter left the ring to gloat. Allanov got the mic and challenged Cage to another match. Allanov said he already beat his cheating ass clean in the middle of the ring, but he wanted to do it again, and that if he couldn't do it, then Allanov would let Cage whip him with a leather belt ten times. Allanov then said that if he beat Cage, then he was going to wear his ass out with a belt. The fans were really behind Allanov in this match, and popped huge when Allanov issued the challenge for the 1/8/05 show.

Daron Smythe, Devil Bhudakahn and BC Steele came out to the ring next. Steele pointed out how he was the most brilliant manager in wrestling today, and how Brass Knuckles Champion Smythe was the Centerpiece of his stable. Smythe then called out Jason Cage, who came to the ring. Smythe said that he is so damn good because he works hard at his craft, and that when he came to the NWA four years ago, he knew he had to be on his toes and have respect for others because if not, guys like Paul Atlas would kick his ass. He said he was in fear of men like that, and that when he showed respect he was able to learn from them. He said that Cage lacked respect and that he was never going to learn anything, so he was going to do what needed to be done, and that was beat respect into him. Smythe then cold Cage in the face with the mic, and he and Devil laid the boots to him, before Crusher Hansen hit the ring. Hansen said that it was easy for three guys to gang up on Cage, so why didn't Smythe and Devil face them in a tag team match? Steele grabbed the mic and said that Devil doesn't wrestle twice in one night, and that Hansen wasn't allowed to touch him anyways. Suddenly Chris Hamrick's music hit, and he said that he knows Hansen wanted a piece of him, and he would be Smythe's partner. Hamrick and Smythe completely controlled this match, with Cage taking a massive beating at the hands of Hamrick and Smythe. Hansen had the crowd behind it, but Cage was in way over his head here. After taking a beating for about ten minutes Cage managed to sneak a tag to Hansen, who came in on fire and started clearing house. He gave Smythe and Hamrick a double-noggin-knocker and Smythe rolled out, and Hansen followed him to the outside. Cage staggered back in the ring after Hamrick, who nailed him with a Square Driver and got the pinfall. Hansen was visibly frustrated, but he stayed in the ring with Cage, who was very slow in getting up, and appeared to have an injury to his neck.

The main event was the Three Rivers Title Match. After Spyral and Idol were in the ring, Ring Announcer Buff Wilhelm announced that by order of the NWA-PWX Championship Committee, this match was going to be a three way elimination match, and that Taylor's title would be on the line. Taylor was furious, but had no choice but to wrestle the match. Words cannot do this match justice, as these are three of the fastest and most daring wrestlers to ever compete in NWA-PWX. The fans were hot as both Spyral and Idol took Taylor apart, and they crowd was hot for a title change. Taylor managed to battle back, and displayed how he has made the diamond cutter into a solid weapon. After about seven minutes Taylor went for a cutter on Spyral, but Spyral reversed it and nailed Taylor with the move, before going up top and hitting his 360 rewind elbow. Idol made the cover and Taylor was gone, leaving Idol versus Spyral. At this point the fns were divided, with half behind Idol, and half behind Spyral. Both men started laying in the forearms and kicks, and this became a match full of stiff strikes. Idol kept going for his reverse cradle piledriver, and Spyral kept trying to set up his Spirit Crusher. There were a ton of nearfalls, until Spyral finally got the Spirit Crusher hooked, and hit a running version to get the pinfall. After the match Idol shook hands with him and raised his arm, and a lot of the fan favorites came out to congratulate him on winning the title, and going down to OVW. The fans stood and gave him a standing ovation, and chanted "Spyral". Spyral then went out into the crowd and shook hands and hugged fans. Spyral finally got the Three Rivers title in his last NWA-PWX match, and he got his props for doing so.

NEWS & NOTES

December 4th was the first "Fan Appreciation Night" for NWA Pro Wrestling Express, and it was certainly a memorable one! The show had no previously advertised or signed matches, and instead, the fans in attendance had their names drawn, and got to pick every single match on the card. Challengers were picked for the title holders, and some matches were just picked at random as fans wanted to see two wrestlers square off. The night started off with the former Tri Chi Fraternity pledges Kid Cupid, Sean Dahmer, and Dash Bennett making their way to the ring. Cupid stated that they had enough of the hazing and abuse at the hands of the Hammer and Blitzz, and that they were going to start their own fraternity - Delta Upsilon Eta, or DUH. After ripping on the Tag Champs for awhile, Blitzz and Hammer hit the ring, and the boys from DUH bailed out.

The first match of the night saw two fan favorites face off in what was sure to be a hard hitting contest, as Crusher Hansen squared off with Nikita Allanov. Both men started the match tentatively, and felt each other out, with Hansen taking Allanov's arm and breaking cleanly when he reached the ropes. After a second lockup Allanov took control of Hansen, and sent him into the corner where he was met with a series of stiff kicks that the fans ate up. Allanov let Hansen up in a display of sportsmanship, and the two locked up again, this time Hansen coming out on top and popping the fans after throwing a series of chops in the corner. The two went back and forth, but after Hansen hit a powerbomb Stacy Hunter hit ringside and climbed on the apron. Hansen grabbed Hunter and referee Shawn Patrick tried to pull him off of here, which allowed Adam Cage to run to ringside and nail Allanov with his leather belt. Hansen decked Hunter and then made the cover on Allanov, and got the pinfall. Adam Cage then popped up from behind the ring and started laughing at Allanov as he checked on Hunter. Hansen was obviously puzzled, and Allanov was pissed. The fans sat silent waiting for Allanov and Hansen to come to blows, but they didn't, as Allanov just walked away with the belt Cage left at ringside in his hands.

"All Business" Brant was at ringside with Scott Venom, who is continuing to campaign to be added to NWA-PWX's Championship Committee. Brant got into it with Senior Official Shawn Patrick, who a fan had actually picked to square off with Brant. Patrick, a successful junior heavyweight in the area back in the 80's managed to hold his own early in the match, but the size of Brant and the ring rust were too much, and Brant easily defeated the referee after a massive splash from the 500 pound monster. After the match venom once again started his campaigning, which brought Mad Mike to ringside. Mike said that since he retired, he had been asked to join the Championship Committee, and that it meant a lot to him, and that he was going to make damn sure a dick like Venom never got anywhere near the committee. Mike then sat down at interview area and watched the show among the fans.

Adam Cage was still hanging out at ringside, since he had yet to be picked for a match later in the night, when he got into it with a fan. Cage started yelling and talking about how great he was. Nikita Allanov charged out from the lockerroom and leveled Cage with a Russian Sickle, threw him back in the ring, and proceeded to whip him with the leather belt. The fans were going nuts as wrestlers came out to break the two up, but they continued to fight at ringside until Cage was finally pulled back to the lockerroom. The fans picked Sheiky Hassan & Dick Trimmins to square off with DUH's Dash Bennett and Stacy Hunter, and odd combination to say the least. DUH members were at ringside with Bennett, and Cage was back out with Hunter. Da Munchies had the fans into this match, as they were chanting every imaginable insult at Hunter. The match was classic comedy, with Bennett and Hunter so inept as a team the Munchies could do damn near anything they wanted. The Munchies got the win after Hassan knocked Bennett out of the ring, and he hit his back on the ringsteps. Bennett crawled back in and made the tag to Hunter, who was promptly laid out and piledriven by Hassan. Trimmins then climbed up and hit the Big Dick Splash to get the pinfall. After the match, DUH and Cage hit the ring and began wearing Da Munchies out, but Allanov and the Tri Chi's hit ringside and ran them off... but Hunter was left behind in the ring. Da Munchies, Allanov, and the Tri Chi's all took turns beating on Hunter.

After intermission, BC Steele brought Devil Bhudakahn to the interview area. Devil said that he left PWX a long time ago for a lot of reasons, and that the entire time he was gone, he never heard from one fan, one fellow wrestler, or an official from the company the he was missed in PWX, and that he was wanted back. Devil said when the time came for him to come back he did it just so he could turn his back on those very same people who never cared when he left, and that was why he was being managed by BC Steele. This brought Crusher Hansen to the interview area. Hansen said that no one cared when he left because he was a dick, and that he expected him to turn his back on everyone when he came back, and he was right. Hansen then said he was prepared right then and there to beat Devil until he was gone for good, but Steele stepped in and pointed out that the fans didn't pick a match between Devil and Hansen, so if Hansen put his hands on Devil he would sue him, and he would get him suspended, thrown in jail, and he wouldn't wrestle anywhere again. Hansen said that if he couldn't hit Devil, then he might as well hit Steele, and he clocked him in the jaw. Devil went down to check on Steele and Jason Cage and Daron Smythe came form the lockerroom and attacked Crusher, and throw him in the ring. The duo laid the boots to Hansen, and then held him while Devil climbed in the ring. Devil then cocked back and hit Hansen repeatedly, until Allanov once again made the save, this time with a chair in hand. Allanov helped Hansen up, and the crowd fell silent, as they were waiting for the two to go at it. Instead, Allanov held the ropes for Hansen, and handed him the chair, and walked back to the lockerroom alone.

The Tri Chi's came to the ring for their title defense against Devil Bhudakahn and BC Steele, another odd duo picked by the fans. Steele was pushed in a wheelchair to ringside by Brass Knuckles Champion Daron Smythe. Steele said he was unable to wrestle the match now because Hansen had just re-injured his old neck injury, and he also believed he had suffered a number of other injuries during his fall moments earlier. Steele then said that Smythe would take his place in the match. Devil and Smythe seemed to work together well, both men having won tag team gold many times. They kept their assault on Blitzz, and managed to isolate him most of the match. Hammer had the crowd solidly behind them though, and when Blitzz finally got the tag, the crowd went nuts and Hammer cleaned house. After hitting his big fallaway slam on Devil, Devil bailed out of the ring, and Blitzz and Hammer hit the Kegtapper on Smythe to get the pinfall.

The NWA East Heavyweight Title match saw Brandon K defend the title against Jason Cage. Smythe and Devil Bhudakahn were at ringside with BC Steele, and all three men appeared to be a little upset that Cage was picked by the fans to challenge K. Smythe told Cage before the match to not try to do any of that "Ring of Honor crap". After a strong opening sequence K and Cage stood off, and Smythe got on the ring apron and told Cage to cut out the "random Japanese crap". Cage has had a string of disappointing matches recently, but he turned in a really strong effort here, doing his best to go toe-to-toe with K. K saw his opening though when Cage missed a dive, and tweaked his back. K then began going to work on the back of Cage. Cage managed to battle back, but after going for a rana K reversed him into the Kaplack Crab, and Cage passed out. Devin Devine hit the ring and laid K out with a small foreign object, and then put him in a crab. Devine said that he was glad he didn't get picked by the fans to wrestle, because the fans wouldn't know a good wrestler if they found him in the Sportatorium parking lot in the backseat of their car with their girlfriends, and that after the show, if they wanted to find a good wrestler, that was where he would be. Devine said that if the fans were going to see him wrestle, it was going to be against Brandon K, and it was going to be for the gold. Devine left, and so did Steele and his crew. K slowly got up, and then he helped Cage up, and raised the youngsters hand. Apparently, cage has been ostracized from Steele's stable.

The main event was the first match picked at the beginning of the night - Chris Taylor putting his Three Rivers Title on the line against Justin Idol. Before the match Taylor tried to weasel out of the match, but Justin Idol said he didn't want Taylor to get away that easily, and said that he got it approved by the Championship Committee to make this match a Dog Collar Match. Taylor was pissed, but had no choice but to do the match. They started the match out with a tug of war and both men feeling out the chains before they finally locked up. The chain obviously restricted the quickness and high flying of both men, but the ground game gave Idol an advantage, and he did his best to tie Taylor up on the mat. Krystal Frost was at ringside as always with Taylor, and she was doing her best to distract Idol. Eventually Taylor got control, and he used the chain to his advantage, with Frost helping him wrap it around the turnbuckle. Taylor then went to town on Idol in the corner, pinning him between the chained-up turnbuckle, and himself. Idol battled back, but out of nowhere Taylor hit a Diamondcutter and got the pinfall from referee Bryce Rensberg, who immediately tried to wave off the pinfall because Idol's foot was actually under the bottom rope. Rensberg tried to restart the match, but Taylor was already celebrating his won on the turnbuckles, taunting the crowd. Idol pulled the chain and Taylor flew off and onto Rensberg, and he was knocked down and out of the ring. Kevin Tressler hit the ring and began to officiate the match just as idol hit Taylor with his Cradle Tombstone, and he counted the pinfall, and handed Idol the Three Rivers Title. Rensberg made his way up though and waved Tressler's decision off, saying that he was disqualifying Idol for knocking him down. Rensberg then took the belt and handed it back to Taylor, who then attacked Idol. As the two of them went at it, Brandon K hit the ring and tried to break up the fight, but Devin Devine went after K. Allanov came to the ring and went after Devin, but Adam Cage and Stacy Hunter were right behind with the leather strap, and they started wailing on Allanov. Da Munchies and the Tri Chi's hit the ring, and then the lockerroom emptied as fights broke out all over ringside, in the lobby, and even in the parking lot.

In other news, two NWA-PWX regular had high profile news in the last week. TNA Explosion and NWA-PWX regular Sebastian wrestled Kurt Angle on last week's episode of Smackdown, becoming one of the few wrestlers not under contract to actually appear on both TNA and WWE televised shows. Also this week, Spyral made a deal to start up full time with the OVW promotion, and is getting a serious and long look by WWE officials. His last appearances in the area will be at CZW's "Cage of Death" show next weekend, and the December 18th NWA-PWX card in McKeesport.

NWA Pro Wrestling Express returns to the Sportatorium with the final show of 2004 on Saturday December 18th. With the fallout from "Fan Appreciation Night" sure to have the Championship Committee working overtime, check out www.PWXONLINE.com for the latest news on the card.

SHOW NEWS & NOTES
NWA Pro Wrestling Express had the big "Holiday Season" kick off show on Saturday night November 20th. The last shows of the year are typically great shows for NWA-PWX. This show was running head to head with all of the WPIAL High School football championships at Heinz Field, and this show was not hyped as much accordingly. A great crowd still packed the Sportatorium, for a great night of wrestling action.

The show started off with the announcement that the first December 4th show will be "Fan Appreciation Night", and all of the matches (including title matches) will be booked by the fans in attendance that night. There will be a drawing, and fans will get to be matchmakers that night, live and at the show. Only NWA-PWX has a talent roster that could pull this off, and only NWA-PWX has the respect for the fans to literally give them the matches they want to see "on demand".

After that announcement, the show kicked off with Nikita Allanov squaring off with Devil Bhudakahn. Devil was a last minute replacement for Adam Cage, who was unable to make it to the arena due to an ankle injury, which he apparently sustained while whipping Allanov with a leather belt on the previous show. Steele is paying anyone to step in the ring and take Allanov out, and Devil has become one of his top "assassins". Allanov is still very tentative in his role as a fan favorite, but he had the fans chanting at Devil before the lockup. Allanov dominated the match early on the mat, but then Devil managed to cut the Russian off with the help of Steele at ringside. Allanov battled back after a stiff series of kicks, and was setting up for the Russian Sickle, when Steele grabbed his leg under the bottom rope. Allanov tried to pull Steele into the ring, and Devil capitalized with a rollup to get the win. As soon as the bell rang, Sabotage and Stacy Hunter hit the ring with leather belts, and laid into Allanov. Devil and Steele walked away laughing. Crusher Hansen hit the ring and Sab and Hunter bailed out. Hansen said that he wanted a piece of Chris Hamrick, but since he was claiming he was too injured to wrestle, he wanted a piece of Sabotage. Allanov then grabbed the mic and said that Cage was lucky he wasn't there tonight, because he was a dead man.

The Tri Chi Fraternity put the NWA East Tag Team Titles on the line next in a four way elimination match. NWA-PWX has had a very strong tag division in recent months, with five to six regular tag teams competing. In fact, most of the teams are actual teams that wrestle in different areas as a team, not just for NWA-PWX, and it shows in their timing as a unit. The Tri Chi's helped Da Munchies hand out their snacks to start the match off, which got under the skin of Youth Gone Wild and Better Than You. That irritation got worse when early in the match it was obvious that they had also conspired to have YGW and BTY square off with each other first, to eliminate one of the rulebreaking teams. The fans ate it up, but those two teams didn't. Da Munchies actually managed to wear down the biggest man in the ring, "All Business" Brant, and get the pin after a really modified version of a Hart Attack, eliminating BTY. During the next fall YGW took a pounding from Da Munchies, but they managed to sneak in quite a lot of rulebreaking, once again thanks to BC Steele, when the Tri Chi's pledges came to ringside and distracted not only Hammer and Blitzz, but referee Harold Potter as well. YGW managed to sneak a pinfall in on Sheiky Hassan, and Da Munchies were eliminated. The Tri Chi's pulled out the win after hitting the big double chokeslam on Xander Graves, and they retained the titles.

After the match Hammer and Blitzz started to berate the pledges for coming out during the match and getting Da Munchies eliminated. They focused on Kid Cupid, and started telling him that he was going to lose points he had earned towards becoming a frat brother. The other two pledges, Dash Bennett and Sean Dahmer, grabbed the NWA East Tag Belts and nailed Hammer and Blitzz from behind, and the three started laying the boots into the champs. Cupid grabbed the mic and said that the three of them were tired of being treated like garbage, and it was time for them to hit back. Cupid said they were forming their own fraternity, and closed the promo by saying "Cupid has Spoken!!!!" Da Munchies hit the ring and ran them off, and helped Hammer & Blitzz to the back.

Justin Idol took on Sully next. Sully went right after Idol's back, nailing Idol with an impressive burning hammer/backbreaker combination that sent the much smaller Idol down. Sully managed to stay on top of Idol, but the scrappy Idol fought back with his quickness and speed. Sully made the mistake of trying to go toe-to-toe with Idol with strikes and with agility, which showed that he was a rookie, and Idol capitalized on that to gain a series of near falls. Sully attempted a backslide on Idol which Idol turned into an inside cradle, which got him the win. Sully looked much better here in his second outing for NWA-PWX, and Idol got an impressive win over the 6ft 5in Sully. BC Steele came to the interview area with Daron Smythe and Devin Devine. Steele said that the three of them were great, but he had a better idea, and brought Paul Atlas to the interview area. Smythe grabbed the mic and said that it was honor to be out there with one of the greatest managers in the NWA today, with the man that should be the NWA East champion, and with Paul Atlas, the greatest athlete and champion to ever grace an NWA-PWX ring. Atlas said that those words were kind, but that he only was out here because he was a front runner, and that he was associated with winners. He said that he wanted to be associated with Devine and Smythe because they were winners. The problem was that he only worked main events, and that neither of them had a main event match. Devine said that he would have had a main event match, but that Brandon K was too scared to show up and face him. That brought Bigg out to the interview area. Bigg said that Steele wanted to end his career, and that he wanted a piece of Smythe, so why don't they do the match right now? Smythe got the mic and said that he wasn't going to give Bigg the pleasure, and he went to the lockeroom. Devine then attacked Bigg and threw him in the ring. Devin went to town on Bigg with his "gloved hand", and he really worked the big man over. Devine kept dumping Bigg to the outside, where Atlas would tear into him as Devine distracted the referee. Finally Bigg managed to battle back, hitting a massive tilt a whirl slam on Devine, which brought Smythe back out to the ring with a foreign object, possibly a pair of knux. Devine and Smythe tore into Bigg, and left him laying. Senior official Shawn Patrick had to help Bigg to the back, as he was barely able to walk after the beating.

After intermission Crusher Hansen squared off with Sabotage. Sabotage came to the ring with Stacy Hunter and... Adam Cage on crutches. Sabotage was wearing a sweatshirt, and when Hansen hit him with one of his trademark chops, there was no effect on Sabotage. Hansen kicked him in the gut and pulled the shirt off, only to reveal a t-shirt underneath. Hansen chopped, but still had no effect. Sabotage had yet another t-shirt on under that, so Hansen stripped him down piece by piece until he was shirtless, then he went to town on Sab's chest. Hansen was in total control of the match, so Cage snuck in a good shot with one of his crutches, turning the tide back to Sab. Sab, possibly the smallest wrestler in NWA-PWX, went to work on Hansen, who kept battling back. Hansen managed to reverse and Irish whip and sent Sabotage into referee Kevin Tressler, and then Hansen came in with a splash, squashing both men in the corner. With the referee down, Cage came in and nailed Hansen with a crutch, and rolled Sabotage on top of Hansen. There was no referee up to count the fall, but that didn't stop Cage form celebrating as he danced on his "bad leg" back to the lockerroom. Nikita Allanov blasted out of the lockerroom an nailed cage form behind, then pulled out a leather belt and went to work on Cages' back, before throwing him back in the lockerroom. Sabotage managed to get Tressler back up as this went on, but Hansen was back up as well, and he hit Sab with the Crusher slam and got the win.

Scott Venom came out next, well dressed, and grabbed the microphone. He said that he had previously stated that the NWA-PWX Championship Committee needed a guy like him on it, because it was the only way a guy like him would keep from getting screwed. He said it was a honor he had earned, and deserved very much, and he then began circulating a petition he had started, demanding he be added to the NWA-PWX Championship Committee. Venom then began to circulate the petition, which didn't look to be very professionally done, and all of the various names on the petition seemed to be done in the same handwriting....

The Iron City Challenge was next, with Chris Taylor putting the Three Rivers Title on the line against Spyral. Spyral pinned Taylor in a non-title match on 11/6. This match had a twenty minute time limit, and whomever won the most falls in that time limit won the match. Krystal Frost was out there with Taylor, and she was interfering in this match anywhere she could. About eight minutes into the match Frost tried to toss Taylor a chair, but Spyral got it instead. As referee Harold Potter admonished Frost, Taylor punched the chair and went to his back. When Potter turned, he disqualified Spyral for using the chair, and gave Taylor a 1-0 lead. Spyral managed to get the next fall though, forcing Taylor to submit to a bow-and-arrow submission. Taylor took a 2-1 lead after hitting a nasty blockbuster, and getting the three count, but Spyral came back and evened it up in short order after hitting his amazing 450 rewind elbow drop. With about 3 minutes left Taylor managed to get the pin off of a diamondcutter, and the fans were getting into the match, as Spyral had three minutes left to get a pinfall and even the match. Taylor was in control, but Spyral battled back, and Frost began to interfere more and more, eventually getting in the ring and hitting Spyral as he was making a lateral press on Taylor. Spyral nailed her with a unique type of cradled brainbuster he has named the "Spirit Crusher", and she was down and out. Frost's gamble worked though, as there was less than a minute left, and Taylor was back to his feet. Taylor battled back, but with less than thirty seconds left, Taylor was going for a suplex, which Spyral tried to reverse into a Spirit Crusher. The fans were counting down the last ten seconds as Spyral hit the move, and made the cover, but time expired after a two count only, giving Taylor the match. The fans were once again pissed as Taylor retained the title, and Spyral was mad as hell at Potter, because Taylor was down and out when the time limit expired.

The Brass Knuckles Battle Royal was the main event of the evening. The Brass Knuckles title had been retired at the end of 2003 when Paul Atlas won the title, and then announced his retirement. The title is being brought back under the same rules - the title holder will pick any and all stipulations for how the title will be defended. The match was a regular battle royal until only four men remained. At that point the match would turn into an elimination match, with a different stipulation for each pinfall. Bigg appeared to seriously injure his arm at the hands of Smythe and Devine, and had to be helped to the back. He was then immediately taken to the hospital for tests, with it looking as if he had broken at least one bone in his forearm. The final four men were Spyral, Scott Venom, Daron Smythe and Justin Idol. The first stipulation was pinfall of submission, and Spyral was eliminated first by Venom. The next fall was No-DQ, and Venom was gone. It was Smythe versus Idol, and the stipulation was falls count anywhere. The two men brawled around ringside, with Idol seeming to get the advantage on the outside. Idol rolled Smythe back in, and then Chris Taylor ran out form the lockerroom and gave Idol a diamondcutter on the concrete. Taylor tossed Idol back in, and Smythe made the cover, but somehow Idol kicked out. Smythe tried to pick Idol up, but Idol is out of it, so Smythe just nails him with his yakuza kick, and gets the pinfall, and the title.

After the match, Smythe celebrates with the title, and then heads back to the lockerroom with BC Steele. Taylor gets in the ring and starts to taunt the prone Idol with the Three Rivers Title belt. Suddenly Idol snaps up and grabs Taylor in a chokehold from behind. Idol is choking Taylor and pulling back on his arm, and he yells he will break it off if he doesn't give him a title match. Taylor agrees and idol breaks the hold, and then gets in Taylor's face and taunts him, much to the delight of the Sportatorium fans.

NWA Pro Wrestling Express returns to action at the Sportatorium on Saturday December 4th with a huge "Fan Appreciation Night" show. ALL of the matches, including title matches will be picked by fans in attendance at the show - live and in person. SHOW NEWS & NOTES

NWA Pro Wrestling Express put on another great show on November 6th. The first thing many people noticed as they came into the Sportatorium was yet another phase of major construction on the building had been nearly completed since the last event. The entranceway and interview sets had been moved, and a new ringside barrier was put up around the ring, along with new seats for the VIP section. Many of the fans commented on the better look, and more "arena" feel of the new setup, and the remaining construction is expected to be completed before the November 20th event.

The show started off with the three-way. Stacy Hunter accompanied both Adam Cage and Sabotage to ringside. She got the mic before the match and said that Benjamin C. Steele wanted to put an end to the career of Nikita Allanov, and she hired her to take care of the job, and she had both Cage and Sabotage on her payroll now, and that they would get the job done. This was basically a 2-on-1, but Allanov held his own at the beginning, until the duo overtook the Russian on the outside of the ring. Allanov took quite a beating until miscommunication, when Sabotage clotheslined Cage. Allanov tossed Cage out of the ring and delivered a vicious Russian Sickle to Sabotage, who had his back turned while he jawed with Hunter at ringside. After the bout, Cage attacked Allanov with a leather belt that Hunter had been wearing. All three laid the boots in and Cage went to town with the belt on Allanov's back. The beat down had to be broken up by the referees. Once Nikita got to his feet again he seemed very angry and wanted more of both Sabotage and Adam Cage, but the referees were not allowing it.

Immediately after the match, a loud ruckus came from the lockerroom, and Devin Devine came to the ring, pulled by Adam Cage and Sabotage. Devine then claimed that there would be no match between him and Julio Dinero, because he just gave him what he deserved in the back. The Tri Chi Fraternity's music hit, and Hammer came to the entranceway. HE said that any of the pledges that got in the ring with Devin Devine would earn points, and if any of them beat him, they would get five points towards membership. "Syko" Sean Dahmer darted down to the ring and really started taking it to Devine. Dahmer actually looked pretty impressive in this outing, until Devine got in a shot with his gloved hand, which one can only assume is loaded, since it has never been proved. As soon as Dahmer was down, Kid Cupid hit the ring. Cupid took it to Devine right away, hitting all of his big moves on the "King of Men" As Cupid went for a stunner on Devine, Devine pulled away, and clocked Cupid with the glove, sending the 400 plus pound behemoth to the mat. As Devine started to wail on Cupid, Bigg's music hit. Bigg, who defiantly isn't pledging Tri Chi, went right after Devine and started throwing him down with his always impressive powermoves. It must have been a trap though, because Benjamin C. Steele's stable of Devil Bhudakahn, Jason Cage and Daron Smythe hit the ring, and they went to town on Bigg with Devine. Steele got the mic and said that he would see the end of Bigg's career.

Next up was the first half of the "Pick the opponent" matches of the evening. Since Justin Idol was denied a title shot by Three Rivers Champion Chris Taylor, the Championship Committee ok'd it when Idol asked to pick Taylor's opponent for the night. Taylor accepted that stipulation, but only if he got to pick Idol's opponent as well. Before the match, ring announcer Buff Wilhelm announced that the Three Rivers Title match later in the card would be non-title. The opponent Taylor picked for Idol top face was Daron Smythe. The match started off with a very technical transition of moves between the two, with Idol using his speed to take control of the match. Taylor who took it upon himself to take a seat at ringside along with his manager Krystal Frost, which provided distraction to Idol, and allowed Smythe to take things under his own control. Idol took quite a beating, but fought back, but during his offense, Idol hit referee Kevin Tressler with a kick. Idol went for a pin, but with Tressler down, there was no official to count. Smythe got to his feet and went to town on Idol who again was distracted by Taylor at ringside. Daron then went for a pin and Taylor started shaking Tressler to get him up, only to make a slow 2 count. Smythe was ready to finish Idol off, but Idol reversed suplex attempt by Smythe into a reverse cradle piledriver. Tressler began a sure three count, but Taylor pulled him out of the ring and punched him, knocking him to the floor. Taylor and Daron beating up on Idol in the ring, and Tressler managed to call for the bell. Bigg came out to make the save, sending both Taylor and Smythe to the back. After the match Idol was announced victorious due to the disqualification and thanked Bigg for making the save.

Scott Venom hit the ring next, and was out with his tag team partner "All Business" Brant. Venom went off on ring announcer Buff Wilhelm, saying that it was insulting to him that he wasn't advertised for the show, and that he was one of the last guys to get a match, and that he was being treated like a greenhorn. Venom pointed out that he had held nearly every title that NWA-PWX ever had, and he deserved to be more than an afterthought - that he was even slighted as one of the most loved wrestlers at the 10th Anniversary show. He said that NWA-PWX promoter Jim Miller & Co. could make it up to him by naming him to the Championship Committee. This prompted Hammer to come to ringside. Hammer said that the scheduled opponents for him and Blitzz were not able to show up tonight, so they were without a match for the NWA East Tag Team Titles. Hammer said that Blitzz was way too drunk to wrestle by this point in the night, but that Dash Bennett would be his partner, and he would get one point towards frat membership for wrestling, and five if he got the pinfall. Just like the other pledges, Bennett hit the ring on fire, going right after venom and Brant. Hammer got in and it was a nice little brawl. Hammer & Bennett were on top, but soon the former two-time tag champs had Bennett isolated, and were working him over. Hammer and frat girl Trish ha the fans solidly behind them, and eventually Bennett made the tag to Hammer, and things started to break down again. Hammer got dumped to the outside and Brant worked over Bennett. Venom went into his boot and got out a foreign object. Brant held Bennett, but Bennett moved and Venom clocked his partner with the object. Venom turned right into a Super-Duper-Dash Driver and was pinned - earning Bennett five points. After the match Hammer announced that for the rest of the night, and time Cupid hit a non-wrestler with a Stunner, he would get five frat points.

Benjamin C. Steele brought his two charges Devil Bhudakahn and Jason Cage to the ring to take on Dick Trimmins and Sheiky Hassan. Steele's guys attacked before the bell, so Da Munchies didn't get to throw their snacks out to the fans, which riled the Sportatorium faithful up! Devil & Cage tried to capitalize on the surprise factor, but the duo seemed to have a lot of miscommunication. Da Munchies took advantage, and got the pinfall after Sheiky hit Cage with a Piledriver and Trimmins hit the Big Dick Splash and got the pinfall. Cage seems to get his ass handed to him my the Munchies every time he wrestles.
After the match Steele argued with referee Harold Potter, but Cupid snuck up behind him and when Steele turned, he nailed him with a Stunner - earning five frat points. Cupid then passed Twinkies out to the fans with Da Munchies - who made sure he handed out more than he ate.

After intermission, Steele once again hit the ring, this time bringing Juventud Guerrera and Psichosis with him. Joel and Jose Maximo hit the ring next, and Steele got the mic. Steele said that he really really hated the SAT's, and he brought Juvi and Psi to Pittsburgh just to kick their ass in their own language. The Maximos then shook hands with Juvi and Psi, which caused Steele to go off on them, pushing both men and reminding them who the worked for. Juvi and Psi then double clotheslined Steele, and referee Shawn Patrick helped him to the lockerroom. The four men shook hands again, and started to wrestle a clean scientific match. Evan Karagais came to ringside to watch the match. The fans were divided in this one, with half rooting for the Maximos, and the other behind the two luchadores. The Maximos wrestled their best match to date in NWA-PWX, and Juvi and Psi both went full speed in this one. Joel and Jose kept trying to set one of the two up for a Kryptonite Krunch, and after about 15 minutes, Jose nailed Juvi with the move to get the pinfall. After the match all four men hugged, and Karagais hit the ring, and raised the arms of all four men, and said that there would be a rematch at his promotion's first show in New Jersey this December.

Steele stumbled his way to the interview stage after the match, and announced a very special guest - Chris Hamrick. Steele apologized for the NWA-PWX fans treating him so rudely, which allowed Hamrick to begin ripping the Pittsburgh fans. After a few minutes Hamrick started ripping into Crusher Hansen - saying that he had been on PPV while Hansen had been ordering them, Hansen's music hit, and he walked out with a baseball bat. Hansen got in the ring and got the mic, and started to run down Hamrick. Hansen said that Hamrick might think he was something special, but he wasn't, and that it impressed no one for him to walk into the Sportatorium and insult him, or the fans in it. Hamrick played it off, but threw a clothesline at Hansen. Hansen popped right back up and wore Hamrick's midsection out with the ball bat, until he was laying on the mat. Hansen then got on top on Hamrick and started punching him, until the referees hit the ring and pulled the two apart. The fans were chanting "Crusher, Crusher" as they pulled both men back to the back.

The second half of the "Pick the Opponent" matches of the evening was next, and Idol picked Spyral to face Taylor. The fans were behind Spyral all the way in this one, and it got under Taylor's skin big time. Taylor went after Spyral's neck, but Spyral seemed prepared for a more grounded attack, and he took it too the Three Rivers Champion. When Taylor seemed to be in trouble Krystal Frost got into the mix, which brought Idol out from the back. Ref Shawn Patrick was all over Frost, keeping her from interfering, which allowed Idol to sneak in and hit Taylor with a reverse cradle piledriver. Spyral was up and he went up top and hit his 360 reverse elbow drop and got the pin. The fans went nuts, thinking that the very popular Spyral was the new Three Rivers Champion... until Wilhelm announced that the match had been non title. This pissed the fans off, who must not have remembered when that was announced earlier in the evening. Idol raised Spyral's arm after the match, but the fans were really upset that Spyral was not the champion.

The main event saw NWA East Heavyweight Champion Brandon K square off with Scottie Gash, with the loser gone from NWA-PWX until 2005. The match started out with a long sequence of technical brilliance from both men. It is hard to argue that these are not two of the best stand-up technicians in the NWA today period. K was looking to end this one quickly, as he went for his crabhold at every opportunity, and Gash had it well scouted and managed to escape. Gash went after K's back, looking to weaken the champion's back so the hold would be less effective, and to soften him up for his Spotlight Drop urinage suplex. The match started to break down, and Gash worked K over in the corner. Referee Patrick did not want to end the match in a DQ, and tried to back Gash out of the corner, and K came out with a big clothesline, knocking down both men. Gash and K brawled to the outside as Patrick tried to recover. K managed to get Gash back in the ring, but not before Gash snagged a small "Reserved Parking " sign that was under the ring. As K went after Gash in the ring Gash blasted K with the sign, and made the quick cover. Patrick counted three, and ordered the bell to be rung. The fans went nuts and started throwing things, thing they had seen two screwjobs on titles in the same night. However, when Patrick went to hand Gash the title belt, he saw the sign in the ring. He asked Gash where it came from and he said it fell from the roof after the match, and Patrick snatched the belt away form Gash and ordered the match restarted. K snuck behind Gash and hit him with his own finish - a Spotlight Drop, but only got a two count. K was up and on fire, until Gash reversed a suplex attempt by K into a K-Driver, which only got a two for Gash. Gash hooked a crabhold on K, but K reversed the move, swept out Gash's feet and hooked a Crabhold of his own, but with Gash working his way to the ropes. K pulled Gash back to the center of the ring, and Gash had no choice but to tap out.
As Patrick handed the Heavyweight Title back to K "Hey Hey Goodbye" played, and the fans sang along. Devin Devine then ran down the entranceway and attacked K from behind, placing a plastic bag over his head and attempting to suffocate the champ. The referees managed to pull Devine off of K, and get him some air. Devine vowed to take K's title back as he walked back to the lockerroom.

SHOW NEWS & NOTES
The first Pro Wrestling Express card was held on September 9th, 1994. Ten years later, the company puts together one of the best nights of wrestling in the company's history. The crowd was unbelievable, with a literal standing room only crowd. This was the biggest crowd ever at the Sportatorium, and the fans were hot all night long. A large thanks goes to the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, and the McKeesport Daily News, both of which ran huge articles on the event in the weeks prior to the show. With the huge publicity and the completion of a number of construction projects before the show, the atmosphere was set, and the fans helped turn everything up a notch for the show.

As advertised for the show, all of the matches on this card counted towards the "Youth Movement vs. Old School" series, with the winner of the series having their hands shaken by the losers, as per NWA-PWX Promoter Jim Miller.

The night started with the four way elimination match featuring Spyral, Sabotage, Devil Bhudakahn, and Jason Cage. Before all four men could be announced from the ring, Cage and Spyral were going at it, and the match was pure chaos from there. Cage and Spyral went at it hard on the outside, and Sabotage and Devil on the inside. The match was very fast paced, with a lot of action from all four men. Devil got the first elimination, pinning Cage after a Father Nelson Suplex. The fans were hot for Spyral, but Sabotage stunned them by eliminating him with a modified Fisherman's Brainbuster, and that left Sab and Devil in the ring. Both men were slowing down after going hard for about twelve minutes at this point, and were trying to finish each other off with a series of suplexes, but both men fought them off, and when they didn't, they kicked out. Sabotage got the pinfall on Devil after a roll up on the corner. This was a great opener, and Sabotage had every right to celebrate with valet Krystal Frost afterwards. Sabotage made it 1-0 for the Youth Movement.

Next, Daron Smythe was forced to go at it with tag team partner Dash Bennett. Bennett obviously was torn between wanting to rip his partner to shreds for his recent actions against him, and understanding that he was being forced to do this by the Youth Movement. Paul Atlas was ringside with Smythe, and when Smythe tried to throw the match, Atlas was there to put a foot on the ropes, or to distract the ref, which forced Smythe to wrestle. Daron seemed to be fed up with the Youth Movement, but eventually won with a roll-up. Afterwards he hugged Dash, which got a good reaction from the crowd, who seemed torn between both fan favorites. A very solid technical wrestling match. The score was now 2-0 in favor of the Youth Movement.

The Tri Chi Fraternity squared off next with NWA East Tag Champs Better Than You. If the Tri Chi's won, Brant & Venom had to take a beer bath. If BTY won, Tri Chi's had to eat dog food. Before the match, the Tri Chi's introduced a second "frat girl", Trish the Dish. BTY showed why there were the champs, isolating Blitzz and working him over on their half of the ring. Damien Stockholm really has this team clicking in the ring. Blitzz ended up getting the hot tag to Hammer, who cleared house, even slamming the 600 lb. Brant, which was impressive enough in it's own right. Stockholm tried to get involved when they tried the double chokeslam on Brant, but instead the champs got the belts and clocked Hammer and Blitzz, and the referee called for the bell, disqualifying the champs. Stockholm and the champs then got the hell out of dodge, which pissed off The Tri Chi's, who were owed a beer bath. Klubber Korbelic, weighing in at around 400 lbs himself, got a huge pop when he brought Brant back to the ringside area, and the Tri Chi's threw him in the wading pool filled with beer. Brant tried to stand up and get away, but kept slipping on the beer and falling back down. Trish then added insult to injury by dumping the dogfood on the drenched Brant. The crowd loves Hammer and Blitzz, and they didn't seem too upset they didn't walk away with the gold. Youth Movement leads the series 2-1.

The mystery tag partner match was next, and Adam Cage pulled out a great surprise - Dale Price. Price is an experienced brawler and has a history against Bigg. Lance Dayton got a huge pop when he hit the ring as Bigg's partner, and that was only amplified when Jazmynn Viktoria came out to manage them. Cage was pissed when she came out, as he had brought Stacy Hunter to ringside for the match as his extra insurance. Cage really did his homework here, as he kept a careful eye on Viktoria, and went to work on Dayton's shoulder- the injury that forced him to the sidelines last spring. Price and Cage tried to isolate the smaller Dayton, but Bigg wasn't going to let it happen. Things started to break down on the outside, and Dayton did a huge somersault dive onto Bigg, Cage, and Price. Cage was down and the legal man, and Bigg hit a nice frogsplash, but it took a lot out of him and he wasn't able to make the cover. Scottie Gash hit the ring and attacked Dayton, and the two brawled to the back. Daron Smythe then came out, grabbed the tag rope and waited for the tag, came in on fire, and nailed Bigg in the back with a Yakuza kick. Cage got the pin, and it was 3-1. Smythe's turn was a huge surprise, since he just worked so hard earlier to not turn on Bennett.

BC Steele then came to the ring and said that he was happy to announce that the Youth Movement would be represented in the next match by "The Future" Frankie Kazarian. "Primetime" Elix Skipper was his opponent. The match started slow, and the fans weren't really behind either guy, but once Skipper picked up his pace, the fans were into him big time. Kazarian started to cheat, and nearly got a pinfal with his feet on the ropes, but Skipper managed to kick out. Skipper really worked hard for the crowd, and ended up getting the pin after an "Overdrive". Heading into intermission it was Old School up 3-2.

Intermission featured a ceremony, honoring the top ten most popular and most hated wrestlers in the history of NWA-PWX. Accomplishments of each man were read off, and they were brought to the ring. The ten most hated were Nikita Allanov, Chris Taylor, Klubber Korbelic, Guido Corleone, Bubba the Bulldogg, Devin Devine, Damien Stockholm, Scottie Gash, Dylan Dean, and all the members of the Wrong Crowd. The ten most popular were Bigg, Brian Anthony, JB Destiny, Gator, Crusher Hansen, Quinn Magnum, Justin Idol, Vince Kaplack, Brandon K, and Mad Mike. Shawn Patrick was also honored as the senior official for the entire span of ten years, and Ring Announcer Buff Wilhelm presented Jim Miller with a plaque commemorating ten years of promoting wrestling shows. This was a very classy ceremony that, although a little long, was a great opportunity for fans to see some wrestlers that no longer competed in the area, or at all in many cases.

The Youth Movement's advisor Paul Atlas brought BA Briggs to the ring, and was appealing to the idea of rebuilding NWA-PWX to it's glory days by getting rid of the Old School and focusing on the youth in the company. Briggs said that Vince Kaplack would be all for this idea, but Kaplack came to the ring and said that was not the case - so Briggs attacked him and the match was on. Briggs, the promotion's first heavyweight champion back in 1995, was way out of shape, but put forth a great effort, and did a great job controlling Kaplack. The former two-time World Junior Heavyweight champ looked about 30 lbs lighter, but didn't look like he missed a beat, and ended up getting the win with a small package, making this a 3-3 ballgame. After the match Kaplack gets the mic and serenades the crowd with Jesse's Girl. And even though they hadn't sung along with Vince in over 4 years, the fans seemed to still know every word, and the entire Kaplack routine.

Damian Stockholm then announced Evan Karagais was out next, volunteering his services for the Youth Movement. Karagais has really changed his look since the 3-Count days in WCW, bulking up a bit and losing the dreadlocks. He wore the "AWA" title out to the ring. Chris Hamrick came out next, as the surprise ECW opponent. The fans didn't react to either man at all when they came out, so Hammrick got the mic and ran the fans down. Karagais got a quick win over Hammrick with an inverted DDT, and he went right to the back, having busted the crown of his head open. Youth Movement was now up 4-3 with the two main events left.

NWA East Heavyweight Champion Devin Devine took on Brandon K in what was an unbelievable title match. This match is a match of the year candidate, and a synopsis cannot do it justice. The fans were behind K 100%, and Devine was getting heat for everything he did. Alongside his regular bodyguard Stacy Hunter, Devine was accompanied by Adam Cage, Daron Smythe, and Sabotage. Official Shawn Patrick let this match go quite a bit, as he knew the fans wanted to see a clear-cut winner. When K got Devine in his Kaplack Krab, Adam Cage nailed K with a huge spinebuster, which brought out the Tri Chi's and Bigg to clear them from ringside. Hunter tried to make the save for Devine, but K gave her a K-Driver to make sure she wouldn't get involved again. Devine took control and Patrick let the two men go at it. K went to the outside and got a chair, and nailed Devine coming out for a dive, busting him open on the back of his head. Devine was bleeding badly, but he managed to avoid a tope from K, and K went crashing onto the entrance walkway. Referees rushed to see if he was ok, but Devine went after him on the ramp. Devine sent K back into the ring for a pinfall, but somehow K managed to turn it into a backslide and got a two count of his own. Devine hit his Memphis Neckbreaker off the top rope, but still only got a two count. Hunter slid a table into Devine and he set up K, but missed an attempted Senton, and the table didn't break (as usual in NWA-PWX). Devine was in real pain and Hunter went up to the top rope, but got caught by K, and press slammed to the ring. Hunter rolled out and K hooked the crab on Devine, and Devine held out as long as he could, but tapped out. Chris Taylor tried to run in, but Vince Kaplack ran him off. Devine came over, threw the title belt at K's feet, and spit in his face. Many of the fan favorites hit the ring to celebrate the big win with K. Kaplack then demanded his cousin sing for the fans, but instead they did a duet, with both men and the crowd singing "Shook Me All Night". Then Brandon was carried to the back, in a classic NWA-PWX moment. It was tied at 4-4 now, with one match to go...

The rules to the Battlezone match were simple...Team captains Justin Idol and Chris Taylor started off, and every two minutes there was a coin flip, and another entrant. It was a tag match until all eight men were in the ring, and once everyone was in, you could win the match by pinfall or submission, but that was the only rule. Taylor and Idol started it off, and Krystal Frost was helping Taylor cheat right away. Idol managed to fend them both off and had the upper hand when Allanov walked down the ramp with his manager BC Steele after winning the coin toss. Allanov was met halfway down the ramp by a diving Idol, who then went back in after Taylor. Allanov suplexed Idol from behind, and then the duo started working heat on their single opponent. Scottie Gash won the next toss, but teased the fans by coming out to Quinn Magnum's music with Damien Stockholm. It was now a legal 3-on-1, and it was apparent that the Youth Movement had a game plan of going after Idol - the smallest guy on the Old School team. Crusher Hansen tried to even things up by coming in hot, and with Klubber Korbelic by his side. Hansen was shortly cut off, and when Atlas won the next coin toss, it was 4-on-2. Atlas had Jimmy Anjel and Dylan Dean with him. Gash and Taylor were working Idol over on the outside, and Allanov and Atlas were double teaming Hansen in the ring. Dean was trying to direct traffic, but seemed to be getting shrugged off. Magnum then hit the ring to a huge response, and he went after everyone he could get his hands on, nearly nailing Idol by accident. Allanov cut Magnum off with a low blow, and the Youth Movement seemed in control when Mad Mike's music hit, and he hit the ring. Mad Mike had not wrestled since he was badly burned in a Four Corners of Hell match in June, and the crowd went nuts for their favorite son. Mike cleared house, and things really broke down as the two teams started brawling all over the Sportatorium. Magnum bodyslammed Taylor on the floor, and wore out Allanov with street signs. Crusher killed BC Steele and others with whatever wasn't nailed down, and chopped the hell out of Scottie Gash. Atlas worked over Idol and slid him in the ring, where Gash hit him with a nasty Emerald Fusion, followed by Allanov throwing on the Siberian Chokehold. Allanov was yelling for a ref to check to see if Idol was conscious, but before anyone got there Dean nailed him with a chair in the back. Allanov broke the hold and Mad Mike came sailing off the top rope to hit the downed Russian with his patented leg drop, to get the win, and to win the series 5-4. It looks like the losing streak continues for Allanov. After the match the Old School celebrated in the ring and with the fans, as the disgusted Youth Movement just stood in disbelief.
