New England Championship Wrestling explodes into action in April with a
three stop SPRING BREAKTHROUGH TOUR, making stops in Framingham, MA at
the Civic League, Somerville, MA at Good Time Emporium and a debut in
Seekonk, MA at the Seekonk Congregational Church Hall.
All three events are being offered with special fan appreciation
discount pricing!
On Saturday night, April 16th, NECW returns to Framingham at the Civic
League, 214 Concord Street in Framingham for a huge event. Some of the
matches for Framingham have just been announced:
In the main event, it's a return grudge match for the NECW Heavyweight
Championship, as once again "Revolution" Chris Venom collides with the
"Powerhouse" Kevin Landry. This time however, it's a no
disqualification match - no count outs, no time limit and anything
goes! In addition, NECW President, Sheldon Goldberg has ordered that
Alex Crowley not only be barred from ringside, but Crowley will be
stationed in the Civic League balcony, surrounded by security.
Also signed
for Framingham, new NECW Tag Team Champions, RAVE (Kristian
Frost and Zack Statick) defend their titles against former champions,
The Logan Brothers.
In a number one contender's match, "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion,
managed by Alex Crowley locks up with "Rocket" Fred Curry, Jr. The
winner get a shot at the NECW Heavyweight Championship.
Adult tickets for this event are being offered at $12, which is $3 off
the normal price. More matches will be announced later this week.
On Thursday night, April 21, NECW returns to Good Time Emporium with a
special School Vacation/Fan Appreciation Show. All seats will be just
$8 for this weeknight extravaganza.
The Somerville show will feature an unusual main event - a special six
man tag team war! On one side, NECW Heavyweight Champion, "Revolution"
Chris Venom, "Miracle" Mike Bennett and the returning former NECW
Champion, "Big Guns" Frankie Arion as they take on "Powerhouse" Kevin
Landry and former NECW Champions, Michael Sain and "The Golden Greek"
Alex Arion, all managed by Alex Crowley.
More matches for this card will be announced later in the week.
Then, on Saturday, April 23, NECW will be making its debut in Seekonk,
MA at the Seekonk Congregational Church Hall, 600 Fall River Avenue on
Route 114 A in Seekonk, MA, part of a big doubleheader with Slamtech
Wrestling University. The students of Slamtech take to the ring at
2:00 PM, while NECW action gets underway at 6:30 PM! Tickets for the
NECW event are now on sale at Strawberries and on NECWwrestling.com.
If you bring your NECW ticket to the afternoon show, you get in for
just $5 more! If you bring your Slamtech ticket to the later show,
you'll also get in for just $5.
