2005 Super 8 Tournament makes history! 461 fans attended the 9th Annual ECWA Tournament on April 9th in Newark, Delaware and were witness to a fantastic evening of wrestling. It was a special event which saw this particular Super 8 carve out it's own piece of history in the Tournament's legacy. Canadian Petey Williams won the Tournament becoming the first ever non American wrestler to win Super 8. In another Tournament first, the Japanese Press was at ringside covering the event and one fan even flew from Japan to be at the event. The eight competitors of the 2005 Super 8 put on an event that fans of all ages enjoyed.

Results are as follows:

Opening round:

Puma defeated Eric Matlock
J.J. Perez defeated Tyson Dux
Alex Shelley defeated Andrew Ryker
Petey Williams defeated Rory Fox

Semi Finals:

Puma defeated J.J. Perez
Petey Williams defeated Alex Shelley

Finals:
Petey Williams defeated Puma
