Defiant Pro Wrestling returns to Naugatuck, CT
on Saturday, March 11th with "RIZEN".
Professional Wrestling fans in the Naugatuck - Waterbury area of Connecticut,
prepare yourselves to experience the difference that is Defiant Pro Wrestling!
The date will be Saturday, March 11th 2006. The place is The Portuguese Club
on 110 Rubber Avenue in Naugatuck, CT. The doors will open at 6:30 pm, with
our Pre show set to begin at 7:00 pm.
Defiant Pro Wrestling became a reality in August of 2004. The company operates
primarily in the towns of Waterbury, Naugatuck and Southington Connecticut. It
attempts to be different than other promotions that may run in the area, by
being a bit more controversial and less generic in nature. DPW utilizes not only
established veterans and talent from other states, but prides itself as being one
of the few, if not only, companies left in the state that showcases young up and
coming local performers.
The following will be featured at "RIZEN" on Saturday March 11th 2006:
** DPW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP **
"Latin Fury" LUIS ORTIZ vs. "The Deranged One" RON ZOMBIE
The DPW Heavyweight Champion, Luis Ortiz, will defend his championship against
THE Hardcore Icon of New England, Ron Zombie. Can the technical expertise of
the champion prevail against the never say die spirit of the challenger? Who
shall emerge as the true hero in the eyes of the fans?
** STUDENT VS. TEACHER **
"Sudden Impact" DYLAN KAGE vs. JASON "F'N" KNIGHT
The heinous actions of veteran competitor, Jason Knight, in DPW are burned into
the minds of, not only the fans, but of one time Jason protégé, Dylan Kage.
Will Kage exact a measure of revenge for his longtime friend, Mike Milano?
Will this be the time that the student, finally becomes, the teacher?
** TOTAL CARNAGE CHALLENGE MATCH **
"Carnage Crew's" TONY DEVITO vs. "The Mutilator" JAIMIE PAIN
Insanity, and carnage shall certainly be the order of the day in this encounter!
Tony Devito is widely recognized as one of the toughest grapplers to ever lace
up a pair of boots. Pain believes that he has something to prove, and has issued
the challenge...Let the carnage begin!
** DPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS **
THE OUTCAST KILLAZ vs. THE UNTOUCHABLES w/ "The Idol" JAY FITCH
The DPW Tag Team Champions, The Outcast Killaz, have proven time after time that
they are perhaps, THE most dominant tag team in all of the region. Can they
overcome the tenacity of their challengers, The Untouchables? Will their newly
acquired advisor, "The Idol" Jay Fitch prove to be the key to DPW having new tag
team champions?
** DPW WOMAN'S CHAMPIONSHIP **
NIKKI ROXX vs. SUMIE SAKAI - Guest Referee: TALIA
Two of the premier woman wrestlers in this business today will battle each other
in a match for supremacy and respect. East meets West, when champion, Nikki Roxx
defends her championship against none other than Japan's Sumie Sakai. What effect
will THE Diva of DPW, Talia have on the outcome of this match?
** YOUNG LIONS CHALLENGE **
"Die Hard" EDDIE EDWARDS vs. "Straight Edge" BRIAN FURY
Both of these young competitors have battled each other all over New England. In
an effort to prove that they are among the best of the best in Connecticut, they
have chosen to bring their own unique brand of technical expertise against each
other in the rings of DPW.
** THE DPW DEBUT OF "THE SAMOAN STORM" AFA JR. **
A storm is coming into DPW! The son of legendary wrestler Afa of The Wild Samoans
fame, "The Samoan Storm" Afa Jr., is set to make his DPW debut! What are the
intentions of this second generation star, and former UCONN football standout?
Who will he target to make an impact?
** WILL MIKE E. MILANO CONFRONT MANDY MANCUSO? **
The former protégé, Mancuso, without question, turned up the heat on her mentor,
Milano by throwing a huge fireball in his face. What were her motivations?
Considering the volatile nature, and disturbing past of Milano, it may well be
time for the rookie to pay her dues!

General Admission seating is available on a first come, first serve basis for
only fifteen dollars ($15) per ticket at the door on the day of the event.
