AWA/WSW Results from 12/17/05 in Matamoras, Pennsylvania

Great turnout once again in Matamoras, Pennsylvania, as AWA World Star Wrestling invaded again with a history making event.

Special thanks to Milford Chrysler and the Matamoras Firehouse!

Ring Announcer: Christopher O'Mealy
Officials: Tommy MidNight, "The Big Guy" Pat Lawson
Timekeeper: Mike Szymczak
Film Crew: C.J. Hardman, Kate Long

MATCH 1: The Killer Steves ("Studly" Steve McKenzie & "Mr. One Night Stand" Steve Kruz) defeated All Money is Legal (K-Pusha & K-Murda) and The Zoo Crew (Eric & John Logan) in a Triple Threat Tag Team Elimination Match
NOTES: John Logan was pinned by K-Pusha at 8 minutes. K-Pusha fought as a one man army, as K-Murda was injured. After withstanding the full force of the Killer Steves, K-Murda eventually tagged himself in, and despite an impressive showing with an injured knee, was pinned at the 18 minute mark.

MATCH 2: Lady Lee defeated Gyoza in an Intergender match in 5 minutes.

Justyn Glory came out with his manager Chucky Wynn and attacked his opponent later in the evening, Johnny Toxic. He was confronted by his former partner, John Canon, who was shocked at the Justyn Glory he was seeing now. After some heated words, a smirking Glory exited the arena, but Canon was keeping an eye on his former partner, no doubt wondering what was going through Glory's mind.

MATCH 3: Eddie Guapo defeated "Canada's Greatest Athlete" Porter at 7 minutes

MATCH 4: Joseph Brooks defeated Cruiserweight Champion Joey Image by Countout at 10 minutes
Notes: Image informed his manager, Taylor Ireland, to grab the leg. Taylor ended up grabbing Image's leg, causing him to kick her out of ringside and back to the locker room. She later returned, distracting Image outside the ring long enough to cause a countout. Although Brooks won the match, a title cannot change hands due to a countout, and Joey Image remained the Cruiserweight Champion.

MATCH 5: "The Intoxicating Heart Throb" Johnny Toxic defeated Justyn Glory w/Chucky Wynn by DQ at 13 minutes
Notes: A DQ was forced after Chucky Wynn and Glory brought a steel chair into the match. John Canon ran out to save Toxic and run Glory off. Glory, although looking like he was going to attack Canon, and even after being advised by Chucky to do so, simply walked out.

MATCH 6: Mana the Polynesian Warrior defeated "Mr. Cooler Than Cool" Tank Thomas at 7 minutes
Notes: This match became hardcore when Mana and Thomas went at it with steel chairs. Mana withstood various shots to the head and finished Thomas off.

MATCH 7: John Canon defeated Pinnacle Shawn Patrick at 15 minutes
Notes: Justyn Glory walked out, and several times looked like he was going to attack Canon, but appeared to be fighting with his own mind. In the end, he simply left without laying a hand on Canon.

MATCH 8: Steve the Teacher defeated Jak Molsonn w/Bubba T. Pennywise to become the new AWA/WSW Heavyweight Champion
Notes: This match was originally scheduled to be a 5 man elimination match. However, Cannonball, Bobby G, and Leslie Leatherman did not appear as originally announced. Ring Announcer Christopher O'Mealy called each man out twice, but no one ever showed up. Finally, as referee Tommy MidNight was preparing to award the title to Steve, Molsonn came out and brought the fight with him. In the end, Steve pulled off the victory and won the vacant title.
