Another busy, action-packed weekend in the Michigan independent scene. Here's your weekend preview...

Just a reminder that the originally scheduled Pro Wrestling Lockerroom "Downriver Destruction" debut event for Friday in Southgate, Michigan has been postponed.

The weekend kicks off on Saturday as the American Wrestling Federation makes their debut with "Battle for Bentley" at Bentley Middle School in Bentley, Michigan. Belltime is 4pm with doors opening at 3:30pm. Tickets will be available at the door for $10. Announced for the show: "The Natural" Johnny Dynamo versus Rastakhan, The Bump N' Uglies (Josh Movado & Bubba Mackenzie) versus The Family (Sonny & Vinnie Scarboni), "Too Tough" Tommy Titus versus "The Symbol of Excellence" Conrad Kennedy III, plus "The Smash Machine" Dyson Pryce, Big Chuck Wagon, Jack Thriller, The Gameboy, Bentley Baseball coach Mr. Schultz, and more.

The Legends Wrestling Association is expected to make their debut at the Harvest Barn Center in East Jordan, Michigan on Saturday with another "Roadshow" event. A belltime, nor talent and matches have been announced for the show. Check back over the next few days to see if any more details are released. If they are, I will be sure to post them here on the site.

Universyl Wrestling Enterprizes will present "Headlock on Hunger" this Saturday at the Gladwin Ice Arena in Gladwin, Michigan. Belltime is 7pm and tickets will be available at the door. Headlining the show is a Last Man Standing Match for the UWE Heavyweight Championship as Nathan Grimley defends against "Electric" Eric Freedom with former champion "The Rebel" Larry Byrd as special ringside enforcer, Frankie the Face versus Gary the Freak with the loser having to wear a dress, and more.

The Independent Wrestling Revolution makes their return on Saturday at the Furniture Factory Theater in Detroit, Michigan as apart of the Candypants Girl Burlesque with "Burlesque Bash." The show will begin at Midnight and tickets for the event are $10. Please note that this is an ages 18 and up show. Headlining the late-night action is a number one contenders match for LA Park's IWR Heavyweight title as "The Symbol of Excellence" Conrad Kennedy III takes on Gutter, The Bump N' Uglies take on The Family for the second this weekend, "The Natural" Johnny Dynamo versus Helvis Elliot, plus Big Chuck Wagon, Corey James (CJ Otis), the debut of the IWR's "newest Revoluchadore" and more.

The Michigan Wrestling Organization returns this Sunday with another "Pro Wrestling Live" at Terri's Lounge in Flint, Michigan. Belltime is 2pm and tickets will be available at the door for $5, with kids 10 and under in free. No talent or matches have been announced as of yet.

Ultimate Championship Wrestling will run their first event in over two months on Sunday at Shooters Nightclub in Saginaw, Michigan. Belltime is 5pm and cover is $5 at the door. Talent slated to appear on the show are "Too Tough" Tommy Titus, "Explicit" Xavier Justice, The Connecticut Experience, Sky Devian, Whiplash, Kris Korvis, and more. After the show the WWE's Cyber Sunday PPV will be shown for free to all who attended the UCW event.

Pro Wrestling All-Stars will hold their first event in a number of months this Sunday at Southwest Tony's Cantina in Detroit, Michigan. Belltime is 5pm with doors opening at 4:30pm. Headlining the show is a match featuring AAA stars Charlie Manson Jr. and "Gringo Loco" Tyme Paige, plus "The Most Dangerous Man in Michigan" The DBA defends the XICW X-treme Intense Championship against Eddie Venom, Lucha libre star Fifth Element takes on Sonny Scarboni, "Amazing" N8 Mattson, "The Southwest Shooter" Anthony Rivera, The Family, Truth Martini, and more. You can also watch the WWE Cyber Sunday PPV for free immediately following the show.

Dan Severn's Price of Glory Wrestling rounds out the weekend with "The Dynamo Theory" on Sunday at Michigan Sports Camps in Coldwater, Michigan. Belltime is 6pm with doors opening at 5pm. Tickets will be available at the door for $10, with kids 7 and under in free. A double-main event has been announced: UFC Hall of Famer Dan "The Beast" Severn takes on Jimmy Jacobs and "The Natural" Johnny Dynamo defends the POG Grand Championship against the 2006 Glory Cup winner Josh Abercrombie, plus a 40-man Royal Rumble-styled Glory Gauntlet, and more.
