Xavier

What up boys and girls and welcome to another McInterview. Today one of the best all around wrestlers on the indy scene today sat down and gave the DOI an interview. Xavier has held the ROH, USA Pro, ECWA Heavyweight Championship Titles, among many other titles, including currently holding the USA Pro Xtreme Championship. Xavier talks about his career, the role of god in his life and a lot more. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Sean “The MiC”: How did you get into pro wrestling? What was your training like? Did you ever have any doubts while training?

“The All Around Best” Xavier: I went to a fan festival & asked Tony Devito how I could get started. He then told me he was going to start his own school very soon, so he gave me his phone number, and a week later I had my first training session. I trained in an old style WWF type ring (stiff) with carpet for padding& a hose covering for the cable. I was Tony's dummy taking all the bumps in the world. I had some doubts because of my size but I never let it get me to a point where I would want to stop. I made it a goal to always try to be the BEST, by taking all the styles & putting them together into what I call the ALL AROUND BEST style.

Sean “The MiC”: Where did the Xavier character come from?

“The All Around Best” Xavier: Xmen, Professor X was the man on top, I liked the way it sounded, & liked the way it would appear on display.

Sean "The MiC": You have had many great matches, from wrestling Paul London, to Samoa Joe to CW Anderson. How do you keep delivering great matches night in night out, and do you have any pre-match superstitions before going out to the ring?

"The All Around Best" Xavier: I always pray & ask GOD to give me the ability to entertain & do well. I give all the glory to him.

Sean “The MiC”: Who were your least favorite wrestlers growing up?

“The All Around Best” Xavier: Salvatore sincere, Honky Tonk Man, Nailz, Repoman.

Sean “The MiC”: Who are your favorite opponents to get in the ring with?

“The All Around Best” Xavier: Paul London, Lowki, RED, Aj Styles...

Sean “The MiC”: You have worked a few WWE dark matches, and even a great match on Velocity with Spanky. Have there been any talks about bringing you in full time to the WWE? And if not, would you take a fulltime job with them?

“The All Around Best” Xavier: No there hasn't been .If I was offered a fulltime position I would take it, but right now I looking at going to Japan.

Sean “The MiC”: Has there been any interest from your part, or NWA TNA's part about bringing in Xavier?

“The All Around Best” Xavier: Nope, to be honest I don’t think it’s a place to be in for Xavier at this time. TNA hasn't called either & I’m not stressing to try to get there.

Sean “The MiC”: What do you think about the current state of indy wrestling?

“The All Around Best” Xavier: It’s o.k. , It could be better. There are alot of companies that don’t have consistency in their story lines to really get into a character.

Sean “The MiC”: What would be your dream match, if you haven't had it yet?

“The All Around Best” Xavier: Xavier vs. Shawn Michaels.

Sean “The MiC”: What was like it being the ROH Heavyweight Champion? Does it make you feel good that a promotion wants you to represent them as champion, or is it just "another regular day at the office?"

“The All Around Best” Xavier: It’s definitely not another day at the office. It feels great; I hope to become the greatest champion of all time
