What up boys and girls and welcome to another McInterview. Today, I interviewed a wrestler that has been in more states than a political candidate during the primaries. From Alaska to NY, to Mississippi to Florida, and with a stop in NWA-TNA, Valentina has accomplished a lot in her short career. Valentina talks about her where-abouts, her past, and her future. I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Valentina, you used work in the NY/NJ area, after training in the doghouse. To start this interview off, where the hell have you been and why did you leave the NY/NJ area?

Valentina: I have been down here in Tennessee wrestling for a few different feds. I came down here in hopes of getting into TNA, and it worked for a little bit, but then they cut the storyline, and that was the end of that. I also thought it was time for a change. I was getting fed up with the whole NY/NJ area.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: How are things going today, and where are you located now?

Valentina: Things are okay...i will be moving back to California shortly. I really love it out there!

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What are the differences between the NY/NJ area and where you are now?

Valentina: Well in Tennessee...the people respect women a whole lot more, and don’t put them in bra and panties matches. They actually put them in matches that mean something. The wrestlers are also more respectful towards the women. No one calls anyone a rat down here.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Will you ever come back and work for any NY/NJ/PA promotions in the near future? Later down the line future?

Valentina: Maybe down the line, but not anytime soon

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: You recently debuted in NWA TNA. What was that like and do you think you will ever get a full time role with them?

Valentina: It was fun, but I’m not sure if I will ever get a full time role, especially with me moving back to California. I doubt they will fly me in.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Girls in wrestling is a subject that usually winds up getting talked about negativity. How hard is it being a girl in pro wrestling, especially on the indy level?

Valentina: Well, it depends where you are. In the NY/NJ/PA area, people have the biggest egos and think they deserve for every girl to give it up to them. Down south i have been treated with so much respect. It's pretty hard to go to a show when you know the guys will be calling you a rat, whether you sleep with them or not. It's just such petty nonsense and these guys need to grow the heck up!

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: How do you feel about this statement: "It's ok for a guy to have sex with alot of girls, and when he does, he's called "the man" from his friends and respected and admired, but when a girl has sex with a few people, she's dubbed a "rat" and looked at in bad light." Do you feel that every girl in wrestling has to go through this at one point or another in her career?

Valentina: I think that statement applies to women in wrestling, and outside of it as well. I feel most girls go through that at one point or another, unless they are considered a "fat ugly beast" that no one wants anything to do with.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: There have been rumors about an incident with you and Jerry Lawler. What is your side of the story and why do you think the story got out of control?

Valentina: I can't believe this stupid rumor went this far, as to even being mentioned in an interview, GOD. It is soooo not true. I met the guy at a show and talked with him briefly and that was it. Ask him for yourself. He will tell you nothing happened. One of my good friends actually asked Jerry if it was true, and Jerry supposedly said "Nope, she wouldn’t give in to me." It was actually my birthday the day of the show, so i left afterwards with my boyfriend at that time and a good friend that drove me to the show.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Who have been your favorite and least favorite opponents?

Valentina: Some of my favorites are April Hunter and Malia Hosaka. They are 2 of the best! As far as least favorites...I will leave that up to your imagination. Sorry!

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What promotions have you worked for that you truly liked, and why did you like them?

Valentina: I really liked XPW...it was like no other place i had ever worked for. They gave me a great character and let me roll with it. I had my own segment each show, and wasn’t just someone's valet. They really pushed their females, which is soo awesome. I also love working for USWO in Tennessee because this is the only fed that has let me wrestle on each show i was on. I was never used as a valet. They really respect womens wrestling. It’s so much fun.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What are your feelings on internet wrestling message boards?

Valentina: It depends on the board...the GLORY wrestling message board is always full of nice, positive things. Whereas other boards are full of negative comments made by childish workers and promoters. Its kind of lame when you really think about who is doing it.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What's a normal day in the life of Valentina?

Valentina: Working out, wrestling, working my real job, watching TV (lifetime and MTV) and going on the internet for hours. I love being online.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What is your funniest road trip story?

Valentina: I dont really have anything "funny," but one time on a way to a show, around 2pm...i noticed a car in front of us in NY with a weird license plate. I don’t remember what it said...but anyway...when we were driving home from PA, around 2am,,,the same car was next to us again. I thought it was kind of strange. The other girl in the car thought we were being followed and was freaking out....told you it wasn’t funny, lol.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Who would be your dream opponent in your dream match? Who would be your dream tag team partner?

Valentina: Hmm. I would definitely love to wrestle Trish Stratus. I think she’s really awesome now. I don’t really like tag team wrestling, so no partner really comes to mind.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What do you think about female valets compared to female wrestlers?

Valentina: Some guys need valets to help they become a little bit more edgy, and its a good thing. Some girls don’t want to wrestle and would prefer just to valet, and there is nothing wrong with that. I think valets and female wrestlers both have their place in this business.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What do you think about the current state of the indies?

Valentina: Some are good, some are bad. What else can i say?

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: You recieve 1 million dollars from some money mark to run your own promotion. What's your vision and who would you use?

Valentina: I would definitely make it more extreme, something like ECW or XPW. Im not sure who i would use, but i sure as hell wouldn’t use the people that screwed me over in the past!!

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: You have worked for alot of NWA promotions around the country. Are they all the same to work for, and if not, what makes them unique in their own way?

Valentina: They are all different. They all use different workers and are in different states. The NWA name can be bought by anyone, so it doesn’t have that much meaning to it anymore.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: You have been on the road alot and in many different states. What is the best food you ever had and what restaurant was it? Also what is your worst road trip restaurant experience?

Valentina: I hate eating anywhere on the road because i always end up eating crap. I dont like stopping for fast food, and i dont like going to chain restaurants that often.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What career goals have you accomplished? What goals, short term and long term, do you hope to accomplish?

Valentina: Well my first goal was to get in the business and become a valet,,,then a manager,,,then wrestler. So far that has been accomplished. I also wanted to get into TNA, which is also accomplished. My next plan is to work for as many companies out in California and get better at wrestling...and eventually make it to WWE.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What do you want to say to anyone reading this?

I also have tons of 8x10 photos available. Thanx for having me for this interview, and I love and appreciate all my fans, so thanx for the support.
