Sonjay Dutt

What up DOIites and welcome to another McInterview. This time I interviewed Sonjay Dutt. The last time I interviewed Sonjay Dutt, which can be read here: Sonjay Dutt First DOI Interview , Sonjay was just starting to make a name for himself. Now he's about to become an international superstar, and has become a regular in NWA-TNA. Check out this interview where Sonjay talks about his recent success and more. I hope you enjoyed this interview as much as I did.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: Sonjay Dutt, first off thank you for returning for another DOI Interview. Alot has changed from the last time I interviewed you. What would you like to say about your recent success and being one of the most sought out wrestler today?

Sonjay Dutt: It feels great to be in this position. I worked my ass for to get to where I am and just hope that it continues further and further. I thank the fans for the support as well.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: You have become an NWA TNA regular in the past year. What is it like working in NWA TNA? How does working NWA TNA compare to other promotions?

Sonjay Dutt: It's an absolute pleasure working in TNA. With some of the most knowledgeable minds in the wrestling business, you can't go wrong. I always come home Thursday learning something new. Plus, being on PPV and receiving the exposure from that rules the world. The main difference between TNA and other promotions is that with TNA, you are on LIVE TV, there is no room for error and you have time constraints.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: As a ROH wrestler, what are your feelings about the recent situation with Rob Feinstein? What are your feelings on ROH?

Sonjay Dutt: I think he's a really disgusting person and needs to be dealt with by the proper authorities.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: You have had a great year wrestling some of the best talents today. What has been your favorite match in the past year?

Sonjay Dutt: Hmmm, I don’t know if I have an absolute favorite, but a lot of matches stand out in my mind. My match against Ruckus at COD5, versus Low Ki at the Elks Lodge, taking on Alex Shelley in IWA, the 4 way from CZW, the series with JC Bailey, my TNA debut, the 6 way from ROH, hmmmm, that comes to mind right off the bat.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: You recently have made your USA Pro debut. How is it working for Frank Goodman and what do you think of USA Pro shows?

Sonjay Dutt: It's long, but fun. Frank is always entertaining. The USA Pro shows are entertaining, but too long for my taste. I had some issues with the content on the last show, but otherwise, they are very entertaining and I think the fans really enjoy the dirty, drunken, smelly atmosphere.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: What are your favorite promotions to work for? What promotions aren't you fond of?

Sonjay Dutt: I love working for AUYKZU in Bumfuck, Wisconsin, they are really great. They have great shows and great workers.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: What are your feelings on MLW closing shop?

Sonjay Dutt: It's a shame, it could have been something great. I thank Court Bauer for the opportunities and it was fun while it lasted.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: What are your current thoughts on the indy scene?

Sonjay Dutt: It's slow.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: What are your feelings about CZW and what is it like being part of their 5 years of existence and representing them as the Jr. heavyweight champion?

Sonjay Dutt: I love CZW and the family that we are. It's a great feeling being back there, unlike being anywhere else. We are really a tight knit group and I love being there.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: If you were booking a promotion, what would it be like and who would you use?

Sonjay Dutt: A mix of ECW and NWA. I would use Bastion Booger and Giant Gonzales, maybe Sonjay Dutt and the DOI staff.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: What are your opinions on the WWE product? Is working the WWE one of your career goals?

Sonjay Dutt: I love WWE nowadays, it's gotten really good, except Smackdown last Thurs was rather odd. WWE is a major goal, hopefully one day.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: What do you think needs to be done to improve NWA TNA?

Sonjay Dutt: A TV deal and it looks like we will be clearing that hurdle in the upcoming weeks.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: Where will Sonjay Dutt be this time next year?

Sonjay Dutt: Hmmm, great question, maybe in my bed or sitting at the computer again. Hopefully still staying strong and wrestling, doing what I love. I love honey roasted peanuts.

Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: What do you want to say to anyone reading this?

Sonjay Dutt: www.sonjay.com Go buy something so I can pay my bills.
