Rob Feinstein, recieving an award for ROH before leaving ROH

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What are your thoughts on TNA's relationship with ROH?

Rob Feinstein: I don’t know anything about it. I do know this and I will comment on it. I was told from someone very close to TNA that I had nothing to do with them pulling guys from there. I was told that Jeff Jarrett was sick of hearing about that company and how everyone loved it there. I was used as a pawn and it was even reported in the Observer that the TV deal was never in jeopardy because of me and my incident. I was just used as a pawn to get their top guys out of there. I know they did not want their guys there at that time. In fact, if TNA starts running house shows, I would not want my talent to work anywhere. That way, they would be more special to the TNA product.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What is the status of your upcoming promotion? What will it be like? What can fans expect?

Rob Feinstein: Doug and myself have been talking about it with a few people. Doug has come up with some really cool ideas. It will be something fresh again. It will be something that is not being done and it will work. The fans can expect to have something they can be proud of and not have their intelligence insulted. We will continue to produce solid wrestling shows once again. We never even really got to do many of our ideas. Doug has created so many of the concepts that you see like the scramble cage matches and so many of todays gimmicks that are super over. He just never got his credit for it. We can’t wait to do shows again.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What wrestlers can we expect in your upcoming promotion?

Rob Feinstein: We have talked to so many already and I think you will see alot of familiarr faces again. I can’t say who, because I don’t want them to get any heat. If they do get heat, that is pretty shitty. I have a long list of guys that I would want to work with that I never did in the past. We get Emails all the time from new people wanting work. People are already sending tapes to us, which is great because we have all the time in the world. It will be a mix of new guys and some new stars.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What are your thoughts on the internet, message boards and wrestling journalists?

Rob Feinstein: I think the internet sucks because it kills the business in some aspects. I wish it was like the old days and you never knew what was going to happen before it happens. The message boards are cool for fans to express their opinions. I like them when there are not morons on there that can hide behind their computers and use fake screen names. How many people are going to take this interview we just did and tear it apart every paragraph and make fun of it? There will be a ton of them. There are some freaks out there that are obsessed with me, because of jealousy. Anyone can trash anyone or create a fake news story. When doing my own shoot interviews with workers I would ask them what they thought of wrestling journalists and they hated them and now I know why. Most of them are fans that should still be buying tickets. Any guy can register and get a website and call him self a wrestling journalist. Half of these guys are troublemakers and are just looking to get a story. The other half are guys who should still be buying those tickets and they need to stop thinking they are a part of the business because all they are, are fans. They have no clue what really goes on in the locker room. They get told stuff for certain reasons. They have no clue about the truth because of politics. They think they are better than the fans because they get these scoops when in reality they are just fans themselves. There are only a handful of true wrestling journalist. I think Dave Meltzer is the best guy out there. Wade Keller comes in second. There are other sites also. You guys do a great job as well.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: A lawsuit is going to be a long process. How long do you think it will take before your name is officially cleared?

Rob Feinstein: My name will never be cleared in the way it should be. People will always call me a fag behind my back. Or they will say there goes that Pedo. That is just what I will have to live with. Even my close friends make little stupid comments at me and I know they are totally joking. but it still bugs me. So this will never go away for me. I am just going to move on and work on making RF VIDEO and our other projects be a success

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Obviously, in this interview, you haven't been able to tell everything you must want to say deep down, due to legalities. When will we see a new Rob Feinstein RF Shoot Video that will clear your name and say your piece once and for all?

Rob Feinstein: I wanted to do a shoot interview and tell all but I will get sued in a second. I also don’t want to make people pay to see what I have to say and make money from this. Trust me Sean, alot of people know what happened to me. There are smart fans out there. There are newsletters that have reported stuff and people know what to believe.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Are you mad that some of the guys who you have helped in the past now ignore you? How do you feel about the guys who won't associate with you anymore after getting their break from you?

Rob Feinstein: It's going back to what I said earlier. Some wrestlers don't think about what you have done for them in the past. It is what you can do for me now, which is stupid, especially in this buisness. You do not bite the hand that feeds you. I will be back again in due time.

To the people who are not talking to me, they need to sit down and think what I have done for them. I would like to think that I have helped alot of guys out. I do not want to sound cocky at all, but it is true. I gave them a new stage to show their art and we both helped each other out. There were guys who were talking to me every day and then they totally stopped. It had nothing to do with my incident either, because I know that there were people in their ears spreading lies to protect themselves. I am not using this forum to get pity from anyone. Plus, what I state about the wrestlers, it's only a minority of them. I still have a great relationship with the majority of the locker room. It just saddens me that the minority I am talking about feels the way they do. If they were in my shoes I would not treat them the way they are treating me.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What are the latest happenings in RF Video? What new releases are coming out and what can we expect from RF Video in the future?

Rob Feinstein: We just did the New Jack shoot interview which is freaking amazing. Case in point: I gave it to someone else to watch who writes for a online website. He watched it and wrote me back "That was fucking awesome." I said, “Ok cool, please plug it.” He said he could no, because of the circumstances. But the New Jack shoot was the best shoot we ever did for shooting on people. We just did the Sherri Martel shoot down in NC. She was an awesome female interview. I don’t want to turn this into a plugfest. We did the HonkyTonk shoot. He is a riot to talk to, because he is like New Jack and does not give a fuck what people think. He tells it like it is. I recommend all three of them. Doug has made a ton of new best of tapes. We have a ton of new shoots coming out for this fall. I have a new staff now that is faster then ever on getting stuff out in the mail. My new guy in the office is a genius and is just amazing with his marketing skills. We also have a guy who is helping us upgrade our equipment and you will see some new stuff added to our shoots in the future as we upgraded our cameras and mics a month ago. We are just working with alot of new promotions and if you go to our new release section at RF VIDEO.com you will see we added a ton of stuff.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What do you want to say to the wrestlers reading this?

Rob Feinstein: Don’t drink the Kool Aid. Think for yourselves. Keyword = Politics.

I did everything to help everyone when I was involved. I always treated everyone great. There is not person in the locker room that could say I had an ego with them. I never EVER big leagued anyone. I knew that everyone in my locker room played a equal part in making it a success. There is alot of stuff the wrestlers do not know about. I personally, along with some other people, were about to take the company that I started, to the next level but I was blocked. I promise you this- when I make my return, and I will make my return, I will continue to do the best job possible.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What do you want to say to the promoters reading this?

Rob Feinstein: Thanks for all of your support as you all have stuck with me thru this mess.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Most importantly, what is your message to the fans?

Rob Feinstein: I want to thank all of you who have wrote me letters when I was down and thinking of bad things. It was each of you that kept my spirits up and kept me going on. If it was not for the fans, I would have given up a long time ago. The fans have made my dreams come true. I know this all sounds corny, but if it was not for you, I would never have been able to do everything that I have done. I do alot of the stuff I do because I am like you. I am a fan of this sport. RF VIDEO will continue to be the leader of wrestling videos tapes and DVDs and we will be your one stop shop for wrestling merchandise. Thank you and I hope to see you all at the matches. I also can't wait to be around all of you again. When I was at the shows the last month, it was just a great feeling. There is something about wrestling that once you watch it and you go to it for a while, it's in your blood. Thanks for keeping me alive and I will do the best to give you all the best product out there. See you at the matches!!

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Thanks for this interview, and good luck getting your life back on track.
