Noel

1. How did you get
your start in wrestling?
I had talked to a guy who was a manager in CZW, he told me to come to a show
in Jersey. I went to the show, met everyone and was asked to come to there training
center. I got in the car drove 2 hours to the training center just two weeks
after have my appendix out. There I took bumps till my surgery incision was
bleeding. That was my start basically. After that I had met Billy "the Human
Highlight" Reil. I showed him my modeling photo, and he told me his friend Ricky
O was looking for new valets and here I am.
2. What made you want to get into wrestling?
Have you always preferred the manager/valet role, or did you ever want to wrestle?
I always wanted to be in wrestling. I was hooked as a kid in the 80s. Randy
Savage and Miss Elizabeth were my thing, as I got older I loved Sherri Martel.
I just always knew I wanted to be involved in wrestling some how. Right now
I prefer a VERY active role as a manager. After I heal from my upcoming knee
surgery, I'll be training some more trying to improve is always a goal for me.
3. I just mentioned you as a manager/valet. A lot of people think there is a
difference between the two. Do you think there is a difference between a manager
and a valet, and if so, what's the difference?
There is a huge difference between manager and valet. Valet's park your cars
or take your coats. I'm a manager. I get in the ring and take bumps, I get physical
during matches. I don't just stand there look cute and clap my hands. I think
if you come to ring to be a mini cheerleader you may as well stay home. When
I get to the building I come to work hard.
4. Who have been your favorite guys to manage? Least favorite?
Inferno Dan Gimondo is my favorite to work with, pretty much everyone knows
that, lol. We work together a lot and we have great chemistry. When I first
started I was very nervous, Inferno always told me don't worry, you’ll be fine.
I needed that. I really liked managing Dixie and Dave Greco the other night.
They are going to be a great team. As to my least favorite, well I don't like
to burn the proverbial bridge but I'll just say he didn't rock.
5. What has been the best angle you think you've ever been in?
Best Angle had to be Simon Diamond vs. Inferno with me vs. Crowbar with Serena.
The promos that came out of that feud were great. We cut a promo with Serena,
myself, Inferno, Simon, and Crowbar (in addition Nick Niosi with a camera balancing
himself on a sink) in a bathroom room the size of my car. It was a memorable
moment. The angle came down to Simon vs. Inferno, which turned out to be incredible.
I had the opportunity to be special ref (which I had never done before) cut
some great promos, see some awesome wrestling, and get knocked out in front
of the crowd (once legit). it was a really good angle which ended in a great
swerve where Inferno and I joined up with Simon and Ace Darling to form the
stable D3, because if you can't beat them, join them.
6. At a recent IHPW show, you've been dubbed "Queen of the Catfight. "What is
a normal day in the life of The Queen of the Catfight?
I never really have a normal day. Everyday is an adventure with me. There are
certain things I do everyday a side from the common brush your teeth, shower
type thing. I burn at least one meal everyday. I polish my crown everyday. I
take Flintstone vitamins everyday. If you want to know anymore you can buy my
book. lol
7. What are your favorite promotions to work for? Least favorite?
JCW is my favorite. Ricky O gave me my first managing job. Locker room is great.
Wrestling is the best. Angles are solid. JCW is a family. Least, well I worked
a few shows in PA, lets just say I limped away from the capacity crowd of 13
with very little money in my pocket.
8. You currently are one of the leading females in SSCW, IHPW and JCW. How does
it feel to know that a company holds a lot of stock in you?
It feels great. I'm glad everyone has faith in me. I think everyone knows the
heart and the passion I have for this business. I'm driving in my car listen
to the radio thinking that would make a kick ass theme song. I'm setting fire
to diner thinking I got this really great angle we could try with so in so.
I want the people I work for to think I'm more than just "another pretty face"
There are a lot of pretty faces out there, I want to be the one with brains
and talent.
9. You must get this question in every interview you do. Is there a difference
working as a female, in a male dominated sport? Do you feel you ever get treated
differently, whether it be from fans, promoters or fellow wrestlers?
It used to be a bigger difference with me. I've worked shows (when I first started,
not in NJ) the guys treated me terrible. I can't ever imagine treating anyone
that way let alone a women new to the business. Now that I have been around
a while I feel more like one of the boys. Fans treat me like fans would treat
a girl. I've gotten gifts, flowers, been asked out, been followed to my car,
been harassed by numerous emails, I figure its par for the course.
10. Who are you favorite female managers/valet's today? (WWE or Indies)
I like Dawn Marie. She truly sets the standard for women in this business. Foxxy
Dreams, her and Damien make a great team.
11. Word Association:
Extreme TnA Devin Sturgis-good friend. Someone needs to book him as Ultimate
TnA. He does Ultimate Warrior better than the Warrior does. Excelent manager-Very
old school. Michelle- Nice Girl, wish she would get a little more active at
ringside. I was so proud of her for getting on the mic at SSCW.
Extascy- Blondes know how to have fun, We had a blast at the JCW bikini beat
down.
Jasmin St Claire-Don't know her, but I give her huge props for being one of
the few females who run there own fed
Francine-Loved her in ECW with the Franchise. She sat down and talked to me
at IHPW about my angle which was really cool.
Foxxy Dreams- My favorite goth chick. Contrary to what people say we are not
the same person.
Dawn Marie-What every girl in the Indies should set there standards to.
Peter Ferriero- Good hearted person, trying to make an impact.
Peter Van Orton-He thinks he is going to make Noel's life a living hell. He's
just upset cause I took half his company and took Inferno on the honeymoon instead
of him.
Carmine Sabia-best Rib I ever pulled was on Carmine- i thought he would never
speak to me again.
Ricky O-Like a dad to me. Gave me my first shot in this biz. Whenever I need
something or have a problem I go to Ricky and I hope he would say the same about
me. He IS family.
John Shane-My hero. John is the level I hope to be at someday. Great on the
mic and at ringside. There isn't anything he cannot do. When I cut a promo its
John I look to to see how it was.
Inferno- My wrestling guru. I ask Inferno about everything. He is the person
I feel like I connect with the most in wrestling. I miss him working in the
ring and can't wait till he comes back.
Simon Diamond-teacher and friend. Simon helped me develop Noel. Always says
the right thing when I'm feeling discouraged. I have learned so much from him
Ace Darling- another great guy, had a blast working with him. he is one of the
funniest guys I ever met. And he knew what the Dukes of Hazard boys cousins
were named. That's over.
Miss Elizabeth-My first exposure to women in wrestling, may she rest in peace.
Was my childhood hero. Wish I had the opportunity to meet her.
Trish Stratus-Love how she went from just a valet to the WWE women's champion.
Still like Victoria better lol
Vince McMahon- Genius, took a Mom and Pop company and turned it into an international
business.
Vince Russo-David Arquette as WCW champion....that's all I have to say
Shawn Michaels-HBK is still awesome. Changed pro wrestling forever
Kurt Angle- Very nice guy, had the opportunity to met him once. Hell of an athlete.
the future of the WWE. Good Luck to him on his recovery and comeback
Bastion Booger -Saw him once at Hershey Park Arena -the only way I remember
is he worked the late, great Owen Hart. Owen gave him an arm drag and he tripped
and fell on his head and they ended the match right after that.
Giant Gonzales -Makes a nice coat rack. New York Indy Feds -Never worked in
NY, Never been to a show there. It's along way from Blue Ball, PA. Would like
to work there someday. New Jersey Indy Feds-LOVE THEM. There is so much talent.
So many good matches. I wish the fans would come out more. Hardcore Fans of
Yours- I like all my fans, really I do. But please don't follow me to my car.
It freaks me out. 12 emails a day is way to much to send to one person. Please
take the shrine of me down from your mother's basement. The government doesn't
count the church of Noel as a religion and you won't get a tax break for it.
Other than that everyone is really cool. Internet Critics-Internet Critics actually
treat me pretty good. I dislike when people are just hateful. Wrestling is a
show. One of the last inexpensive forms of live entertainment left. You get
violence, romance, action, adventure, comedy all for $10. Just sit back and
enjoy.
Declaration of Independents- It's a historic document in which the American
Colonies declared their freedom from Great Britain. The Second Continental Congress,
a meeting of delegates from the colonies, adopted the Declaration on July 4,
1776, in Philadelphia, PA. It rocks harder than the Constitution, but not quite
as hard as the Bill of Rights.
Noel- Noel the character-candy can sucking little bitch . Noel the person -
a hard worker, who loves wrestling and entertaining.
12. What would be your dream angle?
Inferno and Noel vs Triple H and Stephanie for full control of the WWE lol Just
Kidding. I would like any angle where I would get to work across the ring from
Jim Cornett, John Shane, Devin Sturgis, Bobby Heenan, Paul Heyman, Sherri Martel,
or Dawn Marie.
13. What are your career goals in wrestling?
Everyone says WWE. I'd love to make it there. Realistic career goals. To work
really hard, to be remembered. To have my Mom and Dad say they are proud of
me. I'd also like one day to be the answer to a question on Jeopardy That's
when you know you've made it.
14. What do you have to say to anyone reading this?
Come check out my site NoelsKisses.com. Even though I'm having knee surgery
next week-I'll still be working, because I can't imagine not being around it.
I'll be working at JCW (JCWwrestling.com) June 8th in Garfield, NJ. I'll also
be at IHPW and SSCW in June.
