Devon Moore

The
Declaration of Independents had the chance to check out Drew Blood and Devon
Moore at a recent I.C.W. show. Needless to say we were impressed. We took some
time to speak with both Drew and Devan. Here is what Devan had to say:
How did you get your start in wrestling? How did you know you wanted to get
into it?
I have been watching it since I was a kid and always wanted to then one day
i met my now tag partner drew who was training at the time and he got me in
with him training then and now u see me.
Who were your favorite wrestlers growing up?
I loved Randy Savage. I always thought he was great I liked Rick Rude also cause
of how the fans always hated him.
Who trained you and what are your feelings about training to be a professional
wrestler?
O-Dogg, a local Philly worker trained me. It felt great because I was doing
what I wanted to do since I was like 8 years old.
When did your team begin with Drew Blood?
Well me and Drew were put together after training in a stable in a fed called
D.I.W. When we left we stayed together on the road and all then one day we decided
hell lets just team up.
Who in your opinion are the best Indy tag teams out there today?
Huh. This is hard cause there is a lot of good teams in the Indies but I'd have
to say the Christopher Street Connection. They are great. They do what they
do perfect to a key.
What was it like working in the legendary Elks Lodge in Queens, NY?
It was great. I'm not going to lie I was nervous but I went out there I did
what I had to do and I thank Jac Sabboth for the opportunity he has giving me
and Drew.
What has been your best match so far?
Drew blood we did a match for a small company in Pa. and at the end we had 150
people on there feet screaming 5 star match and it felt real good to hear that.
What are some of your superstitions if any, before going into a match?
I don't have any I just go out there and hope for the best.
What are your favorite feds to work for? Least favorite?
T.W.F. a fed in Pa. and I.C.W. my worst would have had to be D.I.W. cause the
promoter was a SPO who did know what the hell he was doing.
What wrestlers do you like to work with? What wrestlers don't you like to work
with?
I like working anyone really big small it doesn't matter .
What are your career goals career goals?
I would be lying if I didn't say working for Vince but if not that I want to
be part of something great like an E.C.W.
Do you find it difficult to maintain personal relationships with such a busy
schedule and being involved in professional wrestling?
Yeah I don't have time for them right now I train 4 days a week and have a full
time job so I am pretty busy.
How do your family and friends feel about your involvement in professional wrestling?
My friends think its cool and my family don't but I don't care what they think
anyway.
If you had to leave your house RIGHT NOW due to an emergency, what 3 things
would you take with you?
My car keys, clothes, my cell phone.
Do you have any opinions on what is going on in the world today? Such as our
involvement in Iraq or the war on terrorism?
Nope as long as I'm not over there I'm happy.
What would be your dream match?
Red. I have much respect for him he is a great worker and fun to watch.
Have there been any embarrassing moments for you inside the ring or backstage
in your career?
I blew a spot in this one match when I first started and the fans started cheering
u fucked up and I was really embarrassed
What do you have to say to anyone reading this?
This is me. You don¡¯t like me too bad .
