What up there DOI fans and welcome to another McInterview. Today in the hot seat is Corrupted Youth, who is taking names all over NJ and making a big impression. Corrupted Youth has wrestled for notably PTW and PCW. Check out this interview below, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: How did you get into pro wrestling?

Corrupted Youth: i started at a place called tommy thunders professional wrestling school i was trained there and also worked alot of matches while still in training

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What was your training like? Anything like Tough Enough?

Corrupted Youth: the training was 3 times a week from 7-1030 it wasnt as bad until manny fernandez came in he would run ya like military style, he stopped training for a while then came back after i had left.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What promotions have you worked for, and which have been your favorite? Least favorite?

Corrupted Youth: i have worked for nws ptw,gspw,the upcoming epw show which will be making its debut in november at brick memorial high school, wwc,ewa, and wwa, my favorite had to have been nws dapper runs a great show i get to meet alot of people such as snuka,valiant, and wrestle some good indy talent and learn alot

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: You have worked for PCW and PTW. What is your reaaction upon hearing that these feds shut down?

Corrupted Youth: i was deeply saddened to hear about ptw i believe joe gunns had a great thing going on joe is a great guy and i truly hope to see him run again, pcw is a different story i was supposed to work one show for donnie and it never went throught thanx to a source who screwed me over by saying false statements.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What do you think has been your best match?

Corrupted Youth: wow thats a hard one to say i would have to say theres a three way tie 1.youth vs. ahsim ali at manasquan for nws, 2.youth vs. johnny x vs. vvd at wall h.s. for nws, 3. 69% vs. young gunns vs. love handles vs. visous and delicous at rova farms for ewa. all great matches.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Who are your favorite indy wrestlers to watch today?

Corrupted Youth: wow theres a couple mr. motion,ace darling, vvd, johnny x, hyena, trent acid,soonjaay daat, and at the pwx show i enjoyed watching the elm street kids they pretty good.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: How do you better yourself as a wrestler on a daily basis?

Corrupted Youth: whenever i can get into a ring i do it, i am always watching tapes of my matches or the guys i look up to in the business like rey jr., snuka, tajiri, its always good to watch your tapes and see what u can correct.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What's a normal day in the life of Corrupted Youth?

Corrupted Youth: well when i am off of work i usually sleep till about 10:00 am, get up get something to eat, hang out with some freinds and just kind of chill out, i am currently getting back together with my band so we practice alot when we arent working or theres nothing wreslting related to do.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: Do you have any prematch superstitions?

Corrupted Youth: i have two actually before the show starts i always eat a pack of starburst dont ask me why, then when i am in the ring i always pray in the corner that me and the person(s) i am working do a great job and are safe.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What wrestlers aren't you a fan of?

Corrupted Youth: big show,le resistance,

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What do you think about the current state of indy wrestling?

Corrupted Youth: everyone says its hurting, well the reason why it is becuase all these jealous people dont want others to succeed in it, when they dont realize that if they get a better show at one venue thats just gonna make more people want to see more wrestling. we have the control to make it big like it once was so lets do it EPW will do that, me and ryan maher are gonna put on a great show with great talent and we want every available person there.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What would you consider the pinnacle of your career? Low point?

Corrupted Youth: well i cant say that i have reached the pinnacle i hope not, but what made me feel real good about myself was winning the ewa title it might not mean much in the wrestling business but it made me feel good to win it in front of my family, and any match i have against one of my freinds is up there, low point was when i was gonna leave due to jerks in the business.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: You recently wrestled for the new promotion PWX. What was that like?

Corrupted Youth: it was a good day, i didnt have a match but i worked the br i always fun in there, it was a good show solid workers cough cough ryan maher cough, no he did oh right just joking ryan, i have known the promoter for years and it was good to see him finally branchin out on his own doin his thing it what he always should have been doin.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What are your career goals?

Corrupted Youth: i dont know if i will as they say MAKE IT in the business, but i would like to run my own promotion one day not just in jersey but all over i got some solid backers for the show in nov and if it all goes well it wont just be a one or two show deal with them. but if wwe called i wouldnt reject their call.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: What do you want to say to anyone reading this?

Corrupted Youth: i love wrestling just as much as the next person if not more, all i can say is dont take what we do for granted we might be the indies and we might not be huge, but we do entertain people, kids do loves us, people hate us, thats what the indies are all about, and all i gotta say is Hyena does websites.
